1. a very unusual analysis
I am stunned with this unusual analysis and can't believe that this is the Israeli impression of Abu Mazen. AM is highly apreciated as a moderate leader who is really looking to sign a peace agreement, how can you call him revolutioner? Israel deserves people like Hanyie and Misha'al, not people like AM!!

2. Not worth the paper it's printed on
While the 'Prisoners' document is encouraging in the sense that at least somewhere there is a nucleus of an idea of ending this conflict, it really is more of a 'Palestinian' wish-list.
There is no way in hell there will be anything more than compensation to refugees, and that should take place at the same time the Arab world compensates the up to 850,000 Jews that were forced to flee without property. This 'right of return' is symbolic grandstanding nonsense and is a result of their Arab brothers using them as pawns in refugee camps instead of integrating them into society as Israel did with the refugees to their own state.
Back to 67? Don't they REALLY mean '48? More nonsense. Not going to happen. Even 242 says they are to negotiate on territories occupied in the war, not 'THE territories'. 242 was intentionally written this way by the framers of this UNSCR and there is no way Israel will go back to '67 borders ever. The 'Palestinians' want 100%, but they keep getting fed lies by their leaders and devour the B.S. Wake up Arabs!!! 92% aint that bad (considering the 5% you have now), and in the wake of actual peaceful relations, you will still be able to come to Al Aqsa and pray.
Considering the intransigence of 'Palestinians' refusing to accept anything less than 100%, this can only be headed to another conflict. Israel gave up on "Greater Israel" a long time ago. It's time for the 'Palestinians' to give up on "Greater Palestine" and focus on actual nation building. Yeah, its a pain in the ass, but unless you want better for your people, you gotta do it. Too bad no one holds out any hope you will. Sad.

3. #1
"Israel deserves people like Hanyie and Misha'al, not people like AM!! "
With a statement like this I will not bother to question where your loyalties lie. However, in an effort to inform you, this wonderful AM is a de facto holocaust denier and an accomplice in the Munich massacre.
While Israel goes to extremes to bury the hatchet and look for ways to reach some meaningful semblance of peace with its bloodthirsty enemies we have ignorant people such as yourself looking for angles to spew your anti-semitism.
You and your likes should be ashamed of yourselves as you do nothing to contribute to peace in this world. On the contrary, you fuel the fire of division and hate.

4. Hidden meaning
This referendum does not recognise Israel nor does it give up on the right of return. In essence, the hidden meaning and clear intention is for the elimination of Israel as a sovereign Jewish state.

5. I liked the way it was analized
This is how I would like to see articles being written: brief, clear, to the point. I apreciate the way the author is predicting the future, let's see if he's right.

7. "Priisoners' document"
That prisoners' document is nothing but lip tax so that the PA leaders could keep pumping their swiss bank accounts and that the terrorists will have enough funds for their new weapons, prisoners' document doesnt have a single concession from the Palestinian side and it is just a repharse of the regular Palestinian normative.
As you can see, it is already working on naive Europeans, like the Swede above me.

9. bargothi ,abbas new game
I am one of those who favor a peace agreement based on 67 borders with an open Jerusalem as a shared capital. However in this prisoner documents, there is a provision not too many have notice. Reviving a failed, corrupt, inept, badly run, badly managed, ruthless, dictatarial, collection of illiterate and stupid old timers, club for the useless and the stupid PLO as the sole organization for the Palestinians. The document has nothing to do with liberations, has nothing to do with ending the occupation, it has every thing to do with reviving the PLO, and organization that Arafat and Abbas sidelined for their own purpose. The question is what after they revive the PLO, they line up and collect billions from Israel and donors for selling rights of people.

10. The most important part is Hamas joining the PLO
I think the most important part of the document is Hamas joining the PLO
If they do so they are then bound by all PLO decisions, one of which is formal recognition of Israel (which I agree is not explicitly stated in the document. But it will be interesting to see whether Olmert's convergence plan includes a formal recognition of Palestine.....)
Whatever private thoughts they may or may not have once they accept the PLO as sole representative they are locked in.

11. Abbas talks peace but did nothing to show it - nothing !
Abu Mazen is just another head of the same snake.
He allowed terrorism; allowed convicted (convicted by the PA) killers to escape; did nothing about arms tunnels etc etc.
He's not weak but just pretends to be because it serves his purpose.
Nobody with any sense believes he's a man of peace. A peace deal signed with Abu Mazen would be a disaster for Israel.
He would continue to allow terror attacks and say "I'm too weak, I'm too weak' to stop them.
So Israel would continue to be attacked whilst having her hand tied but a 'peace' treaty written on toilet paper.

12. #10 - neither the PA or PLO are bound by PLO decisions.
they're words are just that - words.
They have never kept to one agreement that they signed and never done anything that they promised.
Surely this is clear to you?!
They all want the destruction of Israel but just play good cops bad cops.
What is going on now is about money and nothing else.
Did Abu Mazen do anything good for Israel before the Hamas victory! Did he keep his word about anything?
And if gets back in power he will continue doing nothing.
