Zarqawi's death is of no benefit to Israel for one very simple reason - the so-called "war on terror" does not encompass anti-Israel terrorism. Look back in time a few years. After 9/11 the USA declared a "war on terror". Initially the Palestinians feared that they would be targeted along with other Arab/Muslim terrorists, and the level of terror attacks against Israel dropped dramatically for a while. As soon as the Palestinians realised that the "war on terror" didn't include them, they knew that the USA, UK etc were giving them carte blanche to carry on as they had before, and the terror attacks resumed in full force.

the war on terrorism is about preventing east asia from accessing middle eastern oil. the war on terror was declared by reagan years before Al Quaida even existed, and long before 9 / 11 .

It doesnt really impact global Islamists that much, just a little short term. The issue is Islamist evil teaching. This needs to be removed as the cancer on the world it is. We need all tumor cells removed, not just one for it to stop growing. The best way for this to happen is for moderate Islam to attack this evil, but that does not appear to be happening, so its up to the rest of the world.
