31. . Re: Stop killing civilians!
Phil Nickerson ,   Canada   (06.10.06)
I'm wondering what type of mind could even glance at the situation in Israel, and then turn about (as though this one is in its right mind) and cry out for Israel to stop slaying the innocents. Pacifist of this sort would have had us under the German Regime had it had its way during the second world war. Give these a deaf ear.

If you would have any clue how a military investigation works, than you would wait with your comments until all the facts come out. Beside, it is always the Israelis who take responsibility for their actions and and the Palestinians never since there is no rule of law. So much for the facts.

35. It is always a "mistake" when the IDF
prophet bob ,   erehwon, amerika   (06.10.06)
murders innocent Palestinian civilians. Just like Rachel Corrie, just like the British correspondent shot by a IDF sniper, and just like the thirteen year old Palestinian girl walking to school. Remember that one? The one where the IDF officer in charge walked out to her where she lay and emptyed a whole clip of ammo in her body. From 2000 to 2005 sixteen hundred (1600) Palestinians were killed by the IDF including over 500 children. I know that zionists think that one jewish fingernail is worth more than ten of these "subhumans" (as Jeremy Cohen on another thread called them) but for once look at the situation as the rest of the world is beginning to see it. The so called terrorists who are blowing themselves up and killing several jews are acting as agents of organizations independent of the Palestinian goverment such as it is. The IDF IS ACTING AS AN AGENT OF THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT. When the IAF fires missles into an apartment building to kill one "terrorist" and kills 10 innocent civilians it is state sponsored terrorism. The world can see the difference between what the Palestinians do and what the state of israel does.
36. Question
Jon ,   US   (06.10.06)
Moti and others in Israel - I am not attempting to be provacative, only seeking to understand... Does IDF daily engage in artillary attacks on Palestinian/terrorist positions? If so, can you explain the need to do so. This is a sincere question - with no impugnity attached to it. If it's not a major terrorist attack, or Israeli army counter-measure, most Americans do not hear of this type of daily skirmish (if that's what it is) in your country.
37. Memory of Jedwabne
Adam ,   Poland   (06.10.06)
Avinu #18 wrote: Remember JEDWABNE in Poland , SO may you can be in pain…. ------- Dear Avinu, You scored a big point here… BIG POINT. Yes, I’m in pain always when someone brings a memory of the innocent Jews of Jedwabne hurded together and burned alive in a barn by the Poles pretending to be acting on some German orders, while the Germans were pretending to be an “innocent observers”. I’m in pain always when I see the perpetuated hatred of one neighbours against anothers that sooner or later leads to dispossesion, to hurding the people and locking them up to starve them or to kill them by many other means. I remember the hatred that killed the Jews of Jedwabne. The Poles hating the Jews and the Jews hating the Poles in the misery times, fighting each other in the struggle for resources, for survival in the difficult times. I know well how fearful were the Jews of the Poles before the war, and how terrified were the Poles when the Jews took revange on them during the Soviet occupation. Once good neighbours, later sworn enemies. ---------- One of my Palestinian friends told me recently that the Arabs and the Jews lived together in Palestine before WW2 as very good neighbours; they, as he said, loved each other like brothers… like brothers, he said. Who can defend this atrocity? Any justification makes you complicit. Israel should be mourning with Palestine. These are the bitter fruits of Begin, Sharon and Netanyahu.

Islam owns terror these days. And HELL waits.
40. Blame the victims
Jeremiah ,   USA   (06.10.06)
It's the Palestinians fault for being out at the picnic at the beach. Their houses should be torn down as a consequence of their "terroristic" actions as well.
41. #40 can the pot call the kettle black
DANNY ,   America   (06.10.06)
Your stupid comment show how well Islam has you duped. Israel is the only real victim in the Middle East. God will vindcate them!
42. Dear Kate #26
Adam ,   Poland   (06.10.06)
Dear Kate, There is only one lady in London whose hatred of Poles is more less on the same level as yours. Her name is Mrs Wolinska. She is wanted in Poland to stay trial for the “court murders” of the Polish patriots. She sentenced them to death with full knowledge that the “evidence” against them was falsified, as she was a public prosecutor in communist Poland, acting, as many other Jewish communists, on direct orders from Moscow. But Mrs Wolinska wouldn’t ever used the enigmatic term “Nazis” to describe the killers of 3 mln Jews. She would make it dead obvious who they were!!! When you try to slander the Polish nation for “collaboration” in the murder of the Jews I must treat it seriously, so I must admit that it is true there was a small percentage of Polish citizens who obeyed the orders of the occupiers and under the thread of death penalty for sheltering the Jews or voluntarily turned some number of Jews to the “Nazis”. Nonetheless, according to one of the policemen in the Warsaw Ghetto, Mr Perechodnik, the biggest amount of the Jews sent to the death camps without any involvement of the ethnic Poles was “processed” by the very police in the ghettos. Its true they were Polish citizens (they probably did not like to be named “Poles”), but I must ensure you they were acting under severe thread that, if the number of the Jews selected and delivered by them for the transportation was not fulfilled, they and their families would go first to the cattle tracks. So, their collaboration wasn’t as voluntary as you implied. Similarly, as the collaboration of the members of the Jurendats, the members of the councils in ghettos (eg femous Mr Rumkowski). Indeed, all of them were Polish citizens. Probably many Ukrainians working as the guards in the concentration camps also had Polish citizenship. In pre-war Poland about 40% of the population consisted of “ethnic minorities” and the Ukrainians were one of the biggest group. So, could you please make it clear who were these misterious “Nazis”? The new generation of people might need a better explanation of this term. I don’t think there is much problem with anti-Semitism in Poland now as you suggested. One of the many reasons, apart of the heated public debates on the issues (murder in Jedwabne, Kielce) is, that the Polish Jews had the guts to tell publicly about involvement of many Jews in the communist apparatus (see the recent articles by Adam Michnik about the background of the Kielce pogrom in 1946), many of them openly expressed their dislike of the Israel’s policy and the treatment of Palestinians, and they openly discuss the Israel’s “black pages” of the history, the same way we discuss the “black pages” of Poland. In today’s “Gazeta Wyborcza”, which is run virtually by the Polish Jews, the killing of the Palestinians on the beach is reported in details. Few weeks ago one of the most prominent Jews in Poland, Konstanty Gebert, stunned the public by criticising newly edited book about Israel by Pawel Smolenski, that in the fragments about nationalism of Prof. Lindenblum, the author ommitted to tell about Lindenblum’s past in Ecel and that Ecel had been murdering Arab civilians. So, there is no much “feeding ground” for anti-Semitism in today’s Poland. BTW I tried to make you read John Pilger’s piece about the people overcoming their grief to work for the future of our generations. As you could see in his writing not everyone is willing to use martyrdom of the killed ones to generate more hatred. I know, it might be very difficult for some of us… Shalom

Adam, Perechodnik ? What a laugh. Perhaps you want to explain to Jane the meaning of the word. When you do she may immediately think of Leopards.

47. the real israelis side
Eve ,   Israel   (12.30.08)
As Israel citizen I want to tell the world what we in Israel go through day after day. The Palestinian shows the world pictures of death people we have also a lot of pictures to show but we don't need to prove our sadness and pain that we having from the Hamas. Over the last years the Hamas bombs the Israelis south strip and kill innocent children and women and men but the Israelis government does nothing... Last year a Palestinian come to a children school in Jerusalem and while they were study, start firing on them and kill one after one but the Israelis government do nothing... Every day we getting bombs from the Palestinian and for me its hard to know that after all these years the Israelis have no quite peace of land to be in... Last year Hezbollah bomb us and now the Hamas. We need to defend our self - because we don't have another place to go. Even though that Palestinian killed our children we don't want to kill their children. Every time that the Israelis bomb a building when there is bomb in there they called the families in the building and ask them to come out of it. But we well know to the Palestinian behavior... And specially to the fact that they like to puts their own children in the fire line so they can have better pictures to show to the press. I feel sorry for the Palestinian children that their parents bring them to the world only to one purpose to kill them and use them. I want to thank anyone that supports the Israelis actions and understanding that we do it only to defending our self. You are much better from some Israelis people that May not supports the Israelis actions and protest against it that wasn’t there when the Palestinian man killed murdered our children that night.

49. palestinians don't support hamas
Karim   (01.04.09)
I'm living relatively close to the Gaza strip, I had to travel up north to get internet connection). If you people care so much about the innocent bystanding phalestinians, you should now that the Gaza strip citizents were much better off while being a part of Israel, then under Hamas' control. It is amazing how the world wide media pictured all phalestinians supporting hamas, when the truth is there are a lot of people here who'd like things to go back the way they were before hamas took over gaza. think about it.
