On the other hand, I recommended last week that cameras be setup to keep track of flying things and that simply was ignored. The IDF needs to prove itself innocent beyond a reasonable doubt to file slander suits against the world press that slanders. I do not see level of evidence either coming from the IDF. If the IDF had an active ground presence, it would be in a better position to collect such evidence. Until that occurs, the press rants and raves to make money. It seems that the event is going to be used to stir a lot of murderous passions regardless of what evidence if any substantiates what occured. It could be anything from propoganda to a work accident to something else the way it is presented as far as I can tell. The way it is presented, it seems to undermine the claims made in my eyes because of the "dressing up" of the situation with staged sirens of constant tone. I do not consider it proof by any means, but propoganda because of that staging for western consumption.

Olmert should turn the tables and launch a scathing attack on the British Government for its obnoxious hypocrisy and its continuing support of Palestinian terrorism. He should make it clear that the Gaza beach incident was deliberately staged by Hamas in order to provide a pretext for the appalling series of rocket attacks on Israel. He should tell the British Government to stop interfering in Israeli affairs and ask how they would like it if Israel kept criticising Britain's totally unjustified occupation of Iraq.
