1. So where's the solution??
Typical! Tell us about the problem but don't tell us directly how to deal with it. All Israeli analyses seem to be along these lines. Never a solution. Let me suggest a simple solution then. Give back to the Pals in spades, what they are giving to the residents of Sderot and surrounding areas. If they fire 10 qassams at our residential areas, we fire 100 missiles at their residential areas. Because we nicer than them, we give their residents a warning: let's say we could give them 6 hrs to vacate, following which their towns will be destroyed. We do exactly what we say we're going to do. No empty threats. We act consistently. We speak with one voice. We don't apologise. Whatever the Pals give us, they will get back x 10! That should solve the problem. If we can't live in peace, they can't live in peace. We used this tactic in the north, why not use it in the south?

2. Israel no longer has any deterrence ability
Israel under weak leadership only knows how to retreat and reward the terrorists.
It no longer is capable of any real deterrence .The best it can do is limited and of no effect.
George of the failed Road Map won't let Israel do anything more as it might lead to the defeat of his BELOVED Palestinian Terrorist

3. No Red LInes To Speak Of
Marciano makes alot of sense.
He is in essence telling the regime to stop wasting millions of dollars bombing empty fields. Instead, tell the PA population what will happen to them if they attack from a certain area. If they ignore the IDF's warnings there should be hell to pay and then the IDF is obligated to follow through on whatever threat they make.
If not, they are relegated as a laughingstock and have lost all deterrent capability.
Currently, Israel has NO red lines. The leadership has gone wobbly and they have become paper tigers.

4. Translation of the article
If the Arabs fire a Kassam and it lands in an open area the leader of Hamas is killed together with his family and close friends. If Kassam lands in Sderot then Abbas immidietly killed with members of his gang in Ramallah.
End of translation for Arabs.

5. Cut the baloney and stop the Qassams
So much blah, blah, blah about not getting the job done. Why doesn't the IDF simply flatten the area where these Qassams are being fired from? Afraid of public opinion? Well, if you don't do anything, you will lose self-respect and the support of your own people. C'mon, Israel, take a stand and beat those filthy rotten terrorists off. Hit the Palestinians where it hurts them most. Stop their illegal cash flow, close the crossings, turn the electricity off. Once and for all teach them a lesson! Enough of blah...blah...blah...

7. Here's the Red Line
For every kassam launched a senior hamas member has his death certificate signed. Simple as that, it doesn't matter whether he sits in the parliament or is the one directing the kassam fire (which in all likelyhood is the same person).
You order the launche, you die.

8. Here's is what he means.
Inform Palestinian civilians that the IDF will fire back to where the qassams come from. i.e. If qassams are fired from their neighbourhood they must accept they are putting their lives at risk. He is right; that should be the red line.
Incidentally, while arab women are subserviant by tradition, when it comes to protecting their home and family no terrorist stands a chance against them. FACT! So, without their permission there would be no qassams coming from residential areas.

9. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize ...
No need to be a military expert, just understand basic human nature.
Not that our leaders don't know it, they just don't have balls. This is exactly what Bibi said today at the Zionist congress. As my favorite president said:
Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything.

11. The solution to Qassams lies in West Bank and Jerusalem
It simply requires more complex thinking. Unfortunately, most people are not capable of such complex thinking; they just let themselves be driven by animal instincts - bare their fangs and strike blindly back. This conflict will go on until both parties stop behaving like animals.
