Marcel ,   Florida   (06.23.06)
It's the smart one's who don't attract much attention that we have to be concerned about. They are here ,all over the US. ,thanks to the idiots in US. Government who have allowed them to enter our border with ease.
2. Sons of the devil.

joe   (06.23.06)
What an exiting fairy tale to promote the "war with terror"! I am sure the Bush-supporters get their "terrorgasm"! Ahhhhh!
4. Muslim loyalty
Gene ,   Israel   (06.23.06)
Nice citizens aren't they? The country give them an opportunity to live wonderful lives in USA, and they repay by planning to kill as much people as they can. Send them back to the shithole they came from! They do not deserve American way of life.
5.  The usual Islamofascist killers, but this time with Rhythm
Alan ,   SA   (06.23.06)
6. When will the world learn
Eyal ,   Tlv   (06.24.06)
A global threat that must be countered
7. Inconsistent Immigration Rules
Fran Ekdahl ,   Emporia KS   (06.24.06)
We make it hard for honest peace loving Mexicans to immigrate, then they let dirt bags like Moslem extremists get in, courtesy companies like Tysons or Iowa Beef Packers. They facilitate the importation of strange Muslim Somalis. We are doing what France did and now they regret it!
8. These people were not even 1% of the 9/11 terrorists
Sal Azam ,   Chicago USA   (06.24.06)
FBI because of its completely destroyed reputation, failures, lies, harrasment towards the American people anti war groups, inter faith groups, connections with ADL. Stealing artifacts from ground zero after 9/11 and several other scandals and confirmed lies and crimes the FBI is looking for a way out of the situation and wanted to project itself as someone who can prevent terrorist attacks. These boys were not terrorists. They might be small thugs and nothing else. FBI always looks for deranged low energy people whom they can manipulate and mould into something that they can prove criminals in the court of law. But once the Jury sees these folks and the pictures have already appeared. The whole world with common sense would say that this whole thing is a lie of the size of the Sears towers. Lets see how much more the FBI lie size gets big. Sears towers and John Hancock towers. One big is not enough so two big lies will not convince the intelligent Americans. Sorry Mueller and your jack ass team you lost again. Desperation is brainless when their is a time constraint. I am sure the President will ask you serious questions about the suspects, their level of intelligence, technical approach and resources(only if the FBI provide them with the technology and resources) FBI lost again and they are coming to an end.
9. RE: Fairy Tales
Nick ,   Orlando, FL   (06.24.06)
WTF is your problem!!? People plotting to destroy the lives of those who live and work in the United States are apprehended and you call it a "Fairy Tale" Would you much rather have another 9/11??? Pull Your head out of your ass!

12. Phew!! Just when I was thinking...
Michael Steiner   (06.24.06)
...that Bush's popularity was irrecoverably low, what with the US economy in a quagmire, US troops inextricably bogged down in an endless, murderous and highly vituperated war in Iraq, the realization that even the righteous war in Afganistan is turning out to be a failure, gross encroachments on civil liberties at home and abroad... - well, here comes the red herring. This should give the phoney "war on terror" about a year's worth of new mandate. Hey maybe it turns out that the cell was linked to North Korea or Iran! *wink wink*
13. RE: Fairy Tales
joe   (06.24.06)
Do You mean this incident, where planes flew into the WTC? Where steel was melting due to the extreme heat,, with tens of thousends of tons of rubble- and - oh - miracle, on top of it the undamaged passport of Mohammed ATTA? Hollywood, here I come.......
14. Hey Steiner
Rick ,   USA   (06.24.06)
Mr Steiner: What Euro-trash newspaper do you get your view of America from? It sounds as though you are not relating to reality, but more to a wish list of evils which should fall on your hated USA. Please next time you need somebody to save your asses, let us stand on the sidelines and laugh our heads off as Islam takes over your sh...y continent.
15. joe and Michael Steiner
Caligula's Horse ,   Solomon's Stables   (06.24.06)
Idiots like them will never wake up, at least until it's too late and home made sharpnel will rip through their bodies, we say who sleeps standing wakes up from the fall.
16. 13 - Stranger things have happened
(06.24.06)
what about the boy in Belsan who was RIGHT NEXT TO the bomb when it exploded and yet didn't have a scratch on him.
17. Agree with Steiner
Edan ,   Beer Sheva   (06.24.06)
I wouldn't be surprised 1 bit if this was all just a fabrication to gain the Bush administration some support which it desperately needs.
18. To Rick
Alex ,   USA   (06.24.06)
Rick, you have just seen what Israelis generally think of the US. They hate us just as much as the Islamists do. They murder our sailors, bomb our libraries, etc. USS Cole and USS Liberty: precisely the same thing, precisely the same mentality, precisely the same hatred for a secular, capitalist, religiously tolerant, and ethnically diverse society. It's just that the Israelis are very much smarter than the Arabs and tend not to let Americans know what their real thoughts are. If you read this site for a while, you will see that if the US tries to do something for Israel, the talkbacks will all say that it is not real or else is not sufficient. No friendly gesture toward Israel from the US is ever met with anything but scorn and ingratitude. And people like Steiner, whose remarks about the state of the US economy prove his utter ignorance, wish us ill, wish us failure, and indeed wish us dead. I am reminded of that great peace-lover Rabin, who publicly admitted how happy he was that the Israelis killed Americans aboard the USS Liberty. The US has no more vicious enemy in the world than Israel.
19. alex, if you are russian and I think you are
micky ,   technion   (06.24.06)
shut up your communist ...
20. Edan
Michelle   (06.24.06)
"I wouldn't be surprised 1 bit if this was all just a fabrication to gain the Bush administration some support which it desperately needs." Support for what you ignorant moron? Bush is in his second term of office and that means he can't run again, thus not needing any support. He doesn't have to make anything up and if he did...our slimey, anti-American media outlets would be all over it. Get a brain!
21. Who is dumber?
D- ,   San Diego, USA   (06.24.06)
The terrorist who thinks he and a few of his friends can kill thousands when all they have is a couple of box-cutters? Or the "useful idiots" who believe that they cannot possibly be successful? 9-11 proves that intent is relevant while predictable means are not. Although in general, it is supposed to take intent and the actual act in order for a crime to be committed in a free society, actions against muslims based upon their intent are clearly necessary in order to protect the freedom, lives & property, of other citizens in free countries. So long a distinction is made between muslims and non-muslims, because muslims are at war with free societies, we will continue to be successful in remaining free countries. THE REAL THREAT NOW: Media will attack the actions of police against islamic extremist intent when they have only discussed, not committed, a crime. This is actually happening. The danger of this is that after this happens, police will feel compelled to move against any other group discussing things that they really would never do, to demonstrate equal treatment, and the war that Muslims are in against free societies will turn into a war that free societies are having against themselves.
22. To Micky
Alex ,   USA   (06.24.06)
I am at a loss to figure out how you have concluded that I am Russian or communist. But suppose either were true (neither are of course,) what difference would it make to what I said. It would not obviate the murder of US citizens by Israel. It would not eliminate the attempt by Israel to involve the US in war by planting bombs in its libraries, theaters, and hospitals. The entire history of Israel is one of bitter enmity to the US, proved over decades. They are a theocratic, racist state with a prediliction for socialism and thus utterly opposed to every American value.
23. To Alex #18
Gene ,   Israel   (06.24.06)
Alex, did you happen to hit your head real hard lately? This is the dumbest comment I've ever seen (besides Ellen Prescott - but she is strong mental disorder case). If you are really thinking what you said in your comment - you need psyco treatment too.......
24. To Gene
Alex ,   USA   (06.25.06)
Gene It is rather hard to respond to criticism that is so vague. Let's see, are you denying that the USS Liberty was attacked by the Israelis, no different from the USS Cole, and that Rabin admitted that he was happy it was Americans who were killed. Or are you denying the Lavon affair ever happened and that US libraries were bombed in an effort to provoke the US into war? Or are you denying that significant political parties in Israel are theocratic, or are socialist, or recommend ethnic cleansing? Just which of my statements qualifies me as psychotic?
25. #18 They are very different.
D- ,   San Diego, USA   (06.25.06)
All of those incidents occurred when Isael was in it's timulteous infancy. That is ancient history compared to now! At the time, Israel had enemies all around them and no known friends in this world. Has there been any Israeli sabotage against the US since then? No there hasn't. And all free countries have their fair share of nutbags. Calling them significant falls apart. Though they are given a voice in the press, who isn't if their viewpoint is nutty enough to sell? Bottom line: Israel, India & Russia have held the frontlines for freedom against the onslaught of Islamic terrorism for a great while now, and none have been challenged more nor shown more capability at handling this than Israel. Personally, I think that you are just a little bit confused. However, if you cannot empathize with Israel in this regard, then please, at least, do not be surprised that many may call you psychotic.
26. To #25
Alex ,   USA   (06.25.06)
So Labor with its socialism is not significant. Lieberman with his plans to expel Arabs from Israel is not significant. Last I saw Shas and UJT were overtly religious parties with theocratic agendas that are part of Israel's current government. Guess that is not significant either. Has there been any Israeli sabotage recently? I doubt they take out ads about it: they denied the Lavon affair for about 15 years. And there is plenty of current evidence that they know how to sabotage our security: just ask Larry Franklin, the latest spy recruited by the Israelis to infiltrate the US Defense Department and sabotage the defense of our country. Look. I am really not disturbed by being called names. I am quite well informed. I do not sound confused when I can give people examples, facts, history, and dates. My only point about bringing up the name calling was to demonstrate the lack of a response on the merits. The facts demonstrate the venemous hatred of Israel for the US. The response is noise (or excuses: those Israelis were just youngsters iin their "tumultuous infancy," cheerfully slaughtering Americans, who are, let's face it, mostly goyim and include a lot of shvartzes.)
27. To Alex, responce to #24
Gene ,   Israel   (06.25.06)
Dear Alex! You should visit Israel to see the overwhelming support of the Israelis for your country. If you set up the poll on the public opinion about USA in the world, I guarantee you, that the Israelis will give the highest score. Just to put things in perspective: Europeans are not particulary liking you. The muslim world - well I think you know.... China - not very much. South America the same. Russians are hostile to USA, regardless to what they are saying to the western media. (I'm watching russian tv channels here in Israel). Let's see what's left - Australia and New Zealand.... Bad incidents did happened in the past, but the times are changing. Don't concetrate just on the bad things - see the wider picture. You should not think of us as your enemy Alex. Your enemy is Islamic terrorism and the countries that support them.
28. Gene Thank You
Alex ,   USA   (06.25.06)
Thank you for having the courtesy and respect to engage in a rational conversation. I am not one of those who is sitting around worrying about what the Brits did in 1780, or the Germans in 1915: life must go on. And I must admit I do not have access to opinion polls from Israel, not that I have much confidence in such polls. My main window onto Israeli and Zionist opinion is the articles and feedbacks on this site. And I see pervasive anti-Americanism in them. Of course I do not disagree that both Israel and the US are under attack from Islam. We have a common enemy. And of course I understand that Israel is a democratic country with a cultural background similar to that of the US. But the theocratic and socialist bent of Israel is so profoundly antipathetic to American values that I believe I must accept the evidence of my own eyes at this site rather than your reassurances, honestly meant though they undoubtedly are.
29. Amateur hour - not al Qaeda
Karen R ,   USA   (06.25.06)
I have read coverage elsewhere of this so-called al Qaeda cell. They are not al-Qaeda - not in ideology and certainly not in quality. Their neighbors had them pegged for a bunch of kooks, and that is just what they were. If they had succeeded in any real action, it would have been entirely by accident. The Bush administration is, of course, talking this up tremendously, seeing that their popularity has hit rock bottom these days and an election is coming. The real al-Qaeda are really dangerous, and not likely to get nabbed using such an obvious sting.
30. To #26
D- ,   San Diego, USA   (06.25.06)
Alex, thanks for your rational response. Re: Sabotage vs Spying Sabotage is interference in another countries internal affairs while spying is simply observing another country. Sabotage can be interpreted as an act of war while spying cannot, but is usually sort of expected, then whined about. Re: Political Parties We have a lot of nutty ones in the US too, but none of those do very well. (Unlike Hamas) Re: Israelis "cheerfully slaughtering" Americans. I read up on Levon, thanks for mentioning it. It was a very interesting read. The boat was claimed to be NSA, so it is unlikely that the US would declassify that it existed. I certainly don't think there is any cover-up on the basis of some shady deal between the US & Israel. I wasn't trying to undermine the significance of the event. What I was saying is that the relationship between the US & Israel has clearly moved very much beyond Lavon, much like the relationship between the US & Japan after Hiroshima. Those events are, of course, significant. However, the countries involved in them have learned to cooperate and move beyond them. On the other hand, today, terrorists are routinely committing horrible atrocities against innocents in the name of muslims everywhere, with no effective counter-movement from other muslims. I just point this out, because, there is absolutely no way that anyone could ever drive a wedge between my Jewish friends and me, no matter how well versed they appear to be. Or my Japanese friends and me, for that matter. Or many others. Muslims, on the other hand, have become the largest religion to practice human sacrifice in the history of mankind. Muslims are welding all non-muslims together, against them, and these joints are indestructable.
