31. There is no excuse
Larry ,   Eastbourne, UK   (06.27.06)
It may be best to wait for the issue of the kidnapped soldier to be resolved first, but after that there is simply no excuse for failing to decapitate the entire Hamas leadership.
32. Bunnie's authoritative statement.
Rustum ,   London, UK   (06.27.06)
You said: There is no "allah", there is no "palestine". Would you care to provide sources for your deep and insightful information?

Caligula's Horse ,   Solomon's Stables   (06.27.06)
What dont you understand? Do you need me to bring kofi anan and his cartographers to tell you that there is **NO OCCUPATION** in Gaza? The UN approved that we withdrew until the last centimeter. But of course I forgot, you do not approve of the existence of Israel any way, so killing Israelis seems perfectly reasonable and justified for you.
34. to rustum from uk.

first of all what is this name rustum... I'm not laughing, just intrested.. second, you all brits are really starting to annoy me. It is you who invented the slavery, the coloniolism, the mass kilings and ect and ect.. you practiced it for some 800 years till you stopped it some 50 years ago. O.k. you seems allright now and much more democratic but you can not erase the criminal acts you done, in Israel too by the way. You have stopped hundred thouthend jewish immigrents to get to israel during the second world war sending them to probable death. Now you sitting in your secured countrey and reading us moral. moral which you have no idea about. you(brits) made so much mass in the world but still picking on us, a tiny state, you stealedhalf of the wealth in the world from the poorest people in the world and refusing to return it back, and still you are picking on us. if you stayed out of our problems and handled your own maybe I could be less ennoyed by you...

I don't feel pity for Palestinians in Israeli jails. They have food and water, that's more than they have in Gaza - they need to count themselves lucky and you need to thank me for paying tax to keep them there. The difference between me and a Palestinian mother is that I would not sacrifice my entire family 'to kill the enemy' - they are too precious to me for that. That's the difference. For you information, we don't have hardly any Arabs working here now. They have all been replaced by Filipinos and Romanians. And when the Arabs did work here, they poured cement down the pipes of new buildings (typical low-life mentality). Yes, we are stupid for paying them and hiring them in the first place. They should be building their own homeland. So, it's only Jews now that are racists? all the Arabs in this forum wishing death to Israelis are not? How misguided are you! I left the UK to come and live here in the Jewish homeland. I came here to be with my people. If you are so fucking concerned about what is going on here, maybe you should do the same. You make me laugh. You are too irrelevant for words. And yes, we need to bulldoze the Gaza Strip bit by bit every single day. So, do let me know when you come back and live here and we will carry on the chat, until then. Toodle-loo.
36. And the fighting goes on...
Jason ,   Boston, USA   (06.27.06)
The problem is that both sides are wrong. Horribly and painfully wrong. I recently visited Israel and I felt deeply sympathetic for the plight of the Israelis. The Palestinians believe a great deal of false and provocative propoganda about the Israelis and they act on it. On the other hand, I was shocked by the sorry state of Arab neighborhoods in Israel. They often lack paved roads and they are filthy, which is in stark contrast from the Jewish parts of glittering, gleaming and immaculate Israel. I think the Israelis should stop the shelling and the airstrikes. Perhaps, if after a week, the rocket attacks continued the international community would see the genuine efforts of the Israelis to live in peace and would assist more constructively in the peace process, instead of pushing outmoded political agendas (the roadmap). Better yet, maybe the rockets would stop. The kidnapping of a soldier is an act of war, which is understandable; but he should be treated accordingly, as a prisoner of war. If he is tortured, or worse yet executed, Israel will have legitimate reason, and proof, to believe that it has no peace partner in the Palestinians, but rather a loose band of lawless vigilantes. My only hope is that the sides can sit down and make a deal. Also, the one-sided sets of rhetoric that appear on the talkbacks here at ynet are appalling. Please try and see the perspective of the other side instead of disregarding it wholesale. That goes for Rustum, among others. - Peace -

"How many destroyed Palestinian villages have you visited? have you eaten and drunk in the Caesaria mosque" just for your info Rustum, the Caesarea Mosque has NOTHING to do with Palestinians. It was actually built by Turks to accomodate the needs of Bosnian Moslems whom Turks invited to settle in Palestine when the country was part of Ottoman Empire. You see, Turks were smart and never trusted Palestinian Arabs, thus their policy was to encourage Moslem but ABSOLUTELY NON-ARAB immigration to Palestine. Among others they welcomed Moslems from Bosnia, Russian Caucasus (Cherkessians) and others in order to rein in Arabs who lived in Palestine. Cherkessians are still there, living mainly in the Galilee and are drafted the same way as Jews and Druze are, Bosnian Moslems left Caesarea when Palestine became British in the end of the First World War. So, apparently you are not so familiar with Israeli history... by the way, "cemetery", not "cemetary" - as you spell...
39. Helen of Stockholm
Rustum ,   London, UK   (06.27.06)
Did I say the "Palestinian mosque in Caesaria"? No, i said "the Caesaria mosque. however, your point is hair-splitting and completely irrelevant. Just what are you trying to say? Okay, so the Israelis bulldozed all the Palestinian mosques and just for a special favour they turned the bosnian Moslem mosque of Caesaria into an alcohol-serving restaurant. Feel better now? By the way, it's not as if the Bosnian Moslem population of Caesaria were allowed to stay. They were booted out with the rest - so your point is absolutely irrelevant. Do excuse me for the typo in the word "cemetery". As for inviting the Bosnian Moslems to settle in Palestine, the word "invite" is not so accurate, m'dear. Now, which mosque would you like to meet me in so we can get drunk together on good Israeli wine grown in the Golan while we defile the sanctity of the place of prayer? The good Israeli way, innit.
40. 3 Muslim : Wrong it is the Decend of Islam
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (06.27.06)
your religion has shown the world NOTHING close to peace - the opposite
41. Helena 38. What is ur point?
(06.27.06)
Caesaria mosque was built for muslims whoever they are. It is not an act of occupation. It is a worshipping place and now a bar!! Listen, stop crying about Israel history, becuase simply there is nothing called ISrael history. Most of you Jews just came here in the last 80 years! Do not bring me 5000 years old stories. I will only accept this if we can bring Pharoas back to existence, and bring the vikings to Sweden!
42. 17 wael: Islamic Jihad's language is KILLING world wide
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (06.27.06)
do you ever read news instead of your propaganda
43. to Rustam
Helena ,   Stockholm   (06.27.06)
Rustam, are you quite ignorant and thus agressive and pathetic. Bosnian Moslems were INVITED by the Turks, fullstop. Whether they were intimidated by the British or moved voluntarily - you don't know a thing about it.... "They were booted out with the rest " - whom the rest? and by whom? and when? As far as getting drunk in a mosque you will have to find somebody else to make you company, I will never fall that low...
44. 34 micky, technion : Rustum is an extremist Muslim nothing

Should I remind you what your brethren have done to synagogues in Arab countries and/or in the Old City of Jerusalem before 1967? You Arabs are just enraged because you realize you lost to the West, you are under-developed and under-educated, more than 50% of adults in the Arab world are illiterate...But instead of looking in the mirror you blame Israel and USA for all your failures (and they are quite many....) What can I say... It was not the desert that created Arabs, but Arabs created the desert
46. helen of Stockholm
Rustum ,   London, UK   (06.27.06)
"As far as getting drunk in a mosque you will have to find somebody else to make you company, I will never fall that low.." Glad to hear it. so you won't be eating in the famous mosque restaurant in Caesaria once the home of the Bosnian Moslems brought over by the Turks and assimilated into Palestinian society until they were bulldozed out of existence by the yishuv who defiled their mosque and sell alcohol in it now. Did I understand you correctly? By the way, certain people from Geneva and Sao Paolo and Santa Monica wouldn't know the difference between a Palestinian of Bosnian extraction and a Palestinian of Palestinian extraction. To the racist right wingers the difference is unimportant - as it was to the yishuv immediately pre and post 1948.
47. Helena's poetry
Rustum ,   London, UK   (06.27.06)
"What can I say... It was not the desert that created Arabs, but Arabs created the desert " Brilliant poetry. Brilliant. You should publish me dear and then wait for the fatwa.
48. to rustum
helena ,   stockholm   (06.27.06)
I will never DRINK or EAT with you irrespectively of where and when and what... There are hardly any Palestinian Arabs of Bosnian extraction as Bosnians despised Arabs and never assimilated. Why are you (and other so-called Palestinians )so unwilling to call yourself an Arab? Is it THAT insulting?
49. #44 inappropriate language
Rustum ,   London, UK   (06.27.06)
inappropriate comment - but totally in character. When is she going to Israel to put her body where her mouth is? I am so sick of hearing these people in europe/South/North America exhorting Israelis on to greater death and destruction. That's why she lives in Geneva. It's safe there. Only the annual influx of Gulf Arabs and their families to avoid. She probabls stays in her apartment for the summer months spitting rusty magen davids out of the window.
50. 49 Rustum : Obsessions rule thisextremist ROFL

51. 48 helena : Rustum like all Arabs are delusional
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (06.27.06)
they have a history rejction problem and one wonders why they come to this website Their agenda of Jew Hate is just making them look more stupid - that is one reason why in history they revert back to the stone age This Rustum is obsessed with Jews - a typical Arab disease

54. 41 Nameless Bug: your Lies are amazing but it does NOT
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (06.27.06)
change history: History is recorded if you like it or NOT - Stop posting crap and BS Another fact you have not learned - Nameless Bug The term "Palestinian" is itself a masterful twisting of history. To portray themselves as indigenous, Arab settlers adopted the name of an ancient Mediterranean tribe, the Philistines ("Invaders" in Hebrew), that disappeared out over almost 3000 years ago. The connection between this tribe and modern day Arabs is nil. Romans, in order to conceal their shame and anger with rebellious regions, changed the references to Judea and Samaria by naming them Palestine. 1. Nationhood and Jerusalem - Israel became a nation in the 14th century B.C.E. Two thousand years before the rise of Islam. 2. Since 1272 B.C.E. the Jews have had dominion over the land for up to 1,000 years with a continuous Jewish presence in the land for the past 3,300 years. 3. The only Arab dominion since the Arab invasion and conquest in 635 C.E. lasted no more than 22 years. 4. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem. 5. For over 3,000 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital and Arab leaders did not come to visit. 6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran. 7. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray facing Mecca (often with their backs toward Jerusalem). 8. In 1854, according to a report in the New York Tribune, Jews constituted two-thirds of the population of that holy city. 9. In 1867, Mark Twain took a tour of Palestine. This is how he described that land: A desolate country whose soil is rich enough but is given over wholly to weeds. A silent, mournful expanse. We never saw a human. 10. In 1882, official Ottoman Turk census figures showed that, in the entire Land of Israel, there were only 141 000 Muslims, both Arab and non-Arab. 11. A travel guide to Palestine and Syria was published in 1906 by Karl Baedeker; estimated the total population of Jerusalem at 60,000, of whom 7,000 were Muslims, 13,000 were Christians and 40,000 were Jews. 12. In 1922, with what was widely acknowledged as the illegal separation of Transjordan, the Jews were forbidden to settle on almost 77% of the Palestine, while Arab settlement went unrestricted and encouraged by British mandatory authority. Did you know that Saudi Arabia was not created until 1913, Lebanon until 1920? Iraq did not exist as a nation until 1932, Syria until 1941; the borders of Jordan were established in 1946 and Kuwait in 1961. Any of these nations that would say Israel is only a recent arrival would have to deny their own rights as recent arrivals as well. They did not exist as countries. They were all under the control of the Turks. Over 80% of the original British Mandate land was given to Arabs without population transfer of Arabs from the land designated for Jews.

56. Journalist, she says
Rustum ,   London, UK   (06.28.06)
One very big loud laugh. Journalist in lies, character assassination, name calling. I don't call that journalism. Journalism is not a sick and evil twisting of facts to suit a sick and evil death-loving agenda. Journalism is neutral. Maybe she is a propagandist, but a journalist. Not even Mussolini or Antonescu would have employed a journalist with such a small hold on the truth and a large hold on self-delusion. Journalist? Come off it - you cannot even fool some of the people some of the time. Journalist? Well kindly list the newspapers that pay money for your Abfall and I'll remember not to buy them. Klu Klux Klan Daily? The Facists Observor? The Racialist HErald?
