Gazans say, "It feels like collective punishment". To solve this with any lasting effect the past must be forgiven. When one side does something positive the other must do the same. Basic rules of sufficient but not noteworthy consideration for others. ALL RELIGIONS espouse this. This must be the yard stick against which all is decided. When one side gives its word that a truce will be given it must be honored. To not do so breaks the "great rule" and gives way for collective punishment. Collective punishment is called WAR. It can only be avoided by "Good People" creating "Good Governments". Governments reflect the collective will of their people. Leaders must be collectively elected that will respond to the ideal of compromise. As long as Good People allow dangerous psychopaths to rule and call for their "idea" of Islam to be imposed on the world there will be collective punishment.
