1. Israel should bring the Hammas to the Hague
Tit for tack, they come to Hague to accuse Israel on the artillery and air attack, Israel should bring charges to Hague on the terrorist attacks in Israel, the shooting of Kassams into Israel.
I have the sick feeling, that they would throw Israels charges out the window and only look at the terrorists charges.
I think that my feelings are true, because when a artillery shell fell on a soccer field in Gaza, the Europe soccer federation wanted to punish Israel and they were very silent, when a kassam fell on a soccer field in Israel and Israel brought that up to the federation, they shrugged it off.

4. Curiouser and Curiouser!
If it weren't so serious it would be funny! But who knows, maybe it is a serious attempt by Hammas to take a more positive approach to the situation than the kidnapping and murder of beautiful young innocent boys.

6. Take the PA to court
Well this would be great news for Israel, as they could then issue a counter claim saying the PA, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and all the rest are in violation of the Geneva convention, concerning the targeting of civilians. Using rockets against civilian population centres and suicide bombings against non military targets. As well as this they could also issue a claim that agreements have not been honoured and all conventions have been broken by an elected goverment, allowing rocket attacks, suicide bombings and attacking soveriegn terrority. I would like to see this done and to see how they deal with this claim.

It would be good to see Israel taken to the International Court just as it would be very good to also see the USA taken to the same court for all it's war crimes against Iraq.

13. Like I said b4
Palestinians like to potray themselves as victim to gain sympathy when they are the main instigator. They are the ones who started firing missiles, kidnapping and suicide bombings. And now they are complaining to the Hague. What da Heck!
|
|
14. Funny
I guess that firing KASSAMS and blowing up buses and coffee shops are leagl under thr Int'l laws.
The PAL could have ended this incident before it even began' also with proving to the world and Israel that they realy want peace by releasing the soldier a couple of hrs. after the kiddnaping.
Instead of that they tried to play hard and proving the world that there is no strong leadership in GAZA. There is no realy a government, there are only militias, and without having a one partner who is the selcted one by the whole PAL people.

15. I doubt very much
That united nations will rush to defend Hamas's case.....not after all the events which took place in the last 10 years in which Jihadist groups have been associated very closely.
Hamas remains a terror organisation. The abduction of an Israeli soldier with the intention of using him as bargaining chip clearly shows the level of political immaturity and the mentality of the so called " palestinian" government.
The solution to the problem remains entirely the responsability of so called "prime minister" Hanniyeh. Hamas does NOT represent the Palestinian and will NEVER represent them untill real democracy is taking place , law and order are restored and everyone abides by international standards.

24. Good move and good luck
I sincerely hope the Hamas are succesful in this as nothing would show the backwardness of this court were they to succeed. The whole idea of a terrorist group like Hamas suing another country that it attacks is comical but it does also highlight how out of touch with reality the palestinians are.
Still, I hope they are successfull.

28. Imagine this! Talk about an upside down world....
Having said that, here is something as upside down as HAMAS GOING TO the HAGUE.
Bush tells Israel. "We stand by you. We will protect you. We will go to bat for you."
BUT..........
Do not use force, use tiny tiny kid gloves to make your point. Do not hurt a hair on the head of Abbas (arafat) and do not hurt the infastructure of the poor terrorist Palestinians we have whitewashed, appeased, lied for and protected!! Order from US led quartet made up of UN!! EU and RUSSIA!! With a background chours from Condi Bush, Georgies handpicked secretary of state.
Ha ha. Like a parent pledging to protect their children as they set them a top of an active volcanoin a hurricane!*!!

29. Hague,UN,or who ever of these organizations
should yes help Israel in getting rid of that cancer.
Just a few reminders:
-Less than 2 months ago ,10 Jews died, eating peacefully a sandwich in Tel A viv.
-One week ago these deceased sneakered into sovereign Israel state and killed cowardly 2 soldiers and abducted one.
Well,I will keep on listing the whole day their acts against Israel.
But let's not forget their acts around the world:World Trade Center 11 sep, subway London's bombing.
Well again, the whole day will not be enough.
I hope these international organizations start seeing to whom they are dealing, before is too late for them selves.

30. That's true : Israel and the world force the palestinians
to use violence to defend themself against the israeli occupation of the west Bank and the Gaza Strip.
None of the UN resolutions have been implemented, the Geneva Convention is not respected and the International Tribunal which judge the fence illegal is another example that the world has leave alone the palestinian people.
Fighting against a foreign occupation is a legitimate and universal right. Asking the palestinian to renounce to this right is hypocritical and racist.
