1. "" A new document of principles ...
Secular Sabra ,   Israel   (07.06.06)
.....published by the Yesha Council calls on the Israeli public to come out against the realignment plan and withdrawals from the West Bank. "" NO !! I'm all for it . Not only that, there is not one individual that I know who supports the Orange camp . Not a single one. Maybe the religious population will support you , but that's a big maybe , the Reform movement isn't too crazy about you guys either . Way I see it most of youre support comes from American religious fanatics , well boker-tov , they don't get to vote :o)
2. document of principles
kate ,   england   (07.06.06)
Boker tov to you too. Funny that ,the Torah lays down the principles by which Isra\el is going to be governed, I know "when the Messiah comes", but this is how it will be - and also peculiar that Israel is going to be a big, fat Israel despite the giving away of Jewish land and despite what the secular think. It is G-d who separates the holy from the secular; decision to make.
3. So kate ...

kate ,   england   (07.06.06)
it is not mine to go to. After reading the TNK I am one of those goy that live acording to G-d's rules, but the covenant's not mine.
5. haven't you forgotten something?
gaby ,   israel   (07.06.06)
Yesha's camp fellows seem to have forgotten that the last elections were to be proof of the will of the majority. After their claiming that most of Israel was against giving up territories, this past election was democratically won by Kadima, which clearly and unambiguously stated intention of giving up land in Judea and Samaria. It's time Yesha followers understood that they are not the sole true patriots of this land, and that the majority of Israeli people love Israel as much as they do, but do not believe in clinging to every inch of land in Judea and Samaria.
6. #5 - Are you math illiterate?
Math Man   (07.06.06)
Kadima got 28 out of 120 seats. That's not a majority. In fact, its barely a plurality. And look at the coaltion they built: Labor, Shas, and Gil. Labor doesn't feel comfortable with unilateral moves, Shas is against further withdrawls, and Gil has stated that their MKs will vote their conscience on the matter. Add to that several MKs who are dissenting within Kadima itself and your majority goes poof. In fact, you would need ALL of Kadima, ALL of Labor, ALL of Meretz, and ALL of the Arabs to built a majority. The only way you can do it is with the help of the arabs and an opposition party. Hell, Likud forced through a bill already - it should have been torpedoed outright as they are in the opposition. Your majority doesn't exist and your plurality is questionable at best.
7. math and democracy
gaby ,   israel   (07.07.06)
If the math plurality you advocate had been found on the far right side of the political spectrum, you'd be defending it without a doubt, in the name of democracy.
8. The Math that was missing
HBendor ,   New York USA   (07.10.06)
Excellent retort 'math man' but who is GIL? I think Olmert as a dissenter with 28 seats should joint the Arab parties and leave the Jews alone to flourish in their HOMELAND...
9. Gaby please...
HBendor ,   New York USA   (07.10.06)
You cannot have the cake and eat it... It is either Olmert's ‘WEAK COALITION’ that will soon splinter or the Jewish people wanting their patrimony intact for future generations. i.e. if Gaby is used to live in a ghetto with walls all around... then Gaby should join Olmert... Please do not preach Olmert’s version to the Jews... I am not a religious man but I think Olmert persistence to unilaterally withdraw from the Jewish Patrimony is scandalous. Who gave this man the authority to impose his will on Jews? If he is following Bush dictates because he has high regards for the man…then let him Join Bush’s cabinet and leave us alone.
