and by the way here in Israel it would be just fine if the cashier said "Bruch habaa l'aroma! Bebachasha et hazmanatcha?" or something like that. We Israelis love politeness just as much if not more than the Americans. BTW the restaurant isn't Rabbinate kosher certified in Jerusalem because it is open on Shabbat. But as I understand the food is kosher.
7. It's a shame!!!

money, menu and hebrew were all discussed in this article. But, has Aroma been americanized already? kosher...optional, work on shabbat...a must.
8. I also say best of luck, but...

#6, "we Israelis love politeness just as much if not more than Americans?" Yes, and the moon is made of cheese, the world is flat, and Hanukah Harry visits good little Jewish children the first night of Hanukah by coming down their chimneys. #6's humorous bit of knee-jerk jingoistic defensiveness aside, Aroma is my favorite coffee shop and I wish them success in the Big Apple.

Wishing you much success in NY and the many cities you expand into. What about Boston. Boston has a diverce population so I think it would be great here in Boston. Check Boston out please. Fanuiel Hall in Boston would be great too.

I recently returned from Israel and while there, I enjoyed my visits to Aroma. I hope that soon there would be an Aroma coffee shop here in Ventura County. I brought two bags of coffee beans and have shared them with my husband...he enjoys the beverage. He shares with his co-workers...they enjoy the beverage as well. So...let me know when the shop opens here and I'll bring in customers... including the 30+ people that returned from the Israel trip as well. After them, it's word of mouth that will bring in more customers. BC
