Alex, I think that the heil with the article is simply refering to the white neo-nazis that the article discusses. I don't think you'd find it offensive if it appeared in the New York Times. I completely agree with Shai's assessment in #17. Further, I've been reading YNET since the English version became available, and I do not think that it is an anti-American site. If you ever went to Israel you'd see the great love that the average Israeli, on through the not so average, has for America. There are even Fourth of July celebrations. Please, do not be overly sensitive to the veiws of an individual, or to the defensive response of an individual who was also reacting to your defensivness. As Americans Alex, I think that you and I can agree that there are fellow Americans that we do not individually care for, however, it does not deminish the greatness of America. There is zero comparision between the Muslims and Israelis. Just like America, Israel wants peace. Her only demand is that the peace be that which comes in life, not the peace that comes to her enemies after she is dead.

Thank you Mike...It takes a strong man to admit a mistake and move on.

I'm curious, what is your take on the Southern Poverty Law Center? You know as well as I do they detest this administration, our war in Iraq. They've turned from their original guidelines into a political war machine for one party. Your original comment would make anyone mad who from Israel does support America. YNET's use of the artical I believe shows over sensitivity and a misundertanding of the political agenda by certain organizations in our country. Another words, the author was misled into thinking SPLC actually cares about Israel. You and I both know they care more about taking down a Republican administration that has in fact been the staunchest supporter of Israel. You seem to avoid this fact altogether nicely, or have bypassed it for other reasons. I'm curious to know Alex. What side do you stand on?

I stand on the side of the USA, which is at war. I have not an iota of use for the SPLC, which I would not have accorded even the historical respect that you gave it. I think if you look at my comments they always single out anti-American comments from Israelis. I get plenty to single out. I am at a loss to figure out why Israelis believe they should get support from the US if they give none to the US but rather give aid and comfort to our enemies. Those comments make me mad as an American. If you are asking me my views on the right of Israel to exist and to defend itself, I support them completely.
