31. voice of peace definition of harmony
The problem is Armed Struggle. Palestinians have to call out for the abandonement of armed struggle. Here are the terms of reference you need:
Universal Declaration of Human Rights..... articles 28 to 30.
Article 28.
Everyone is entitled to a social and international order in which the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration can be fully realized.
Article 29.
(1) Everyone has duties to the community in which alone the free and full development of his personality is possible.
(2) In the exercise of his rights and freedoms, everyone shall be subject only to such limitations as are determined by law solely for the purpose of securing due recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others and of meeting the just requirements of morality, public order and the general welfare in a democratic society.
(3) These rights and freedoms may in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.
Article 30.
Nothing in this Declaration may be interpreted as implying for any State, group or person any right to engage in any activity or to perform any act aimed at the destruction of any of the rights and freedoms set forth herein.

SEE how much money the Arab countries are giving to Palestinians. Compared to other nations it is not very much. What sort of rights would Palestinians have outside of the camps! How long can Palestinians remain in these awful places?
The region cannot begin to answer these questions with practical answers until Palestinians commit themselves publicly to abandon armed struggle. Which is easier to do? Plan and execute acts of violence and terrorism or plan and execute a public campaign to persuade the nation to abandon armed struggle in preference for intellectual and diplomatic struggle?
The diplomatic struggle has not been properly explored because the armed struggle has not been properly abandoned. USE THE TERMS OF REFERENCE AND FIND THE VOICE OF PEACE AND THE DEFINITION OF HARMONY.

32. #30 Sawsan, Rammalla
You might find this difficult to believe, but I actually sympathize with you. I do not believe that innocent non-combatants should suffer from a war they did not choose to start and have no power to stop. It is unfair to subject women, children, elders and the weak to such terror.
I also believe that peace is the best path. But, if someone wants peace, then they had better practice peace. That means non-violent resistence is the only way of protesting against wrongs. You know: if a man hits you on the right cheek turn and offer the other. Such non-violent resistence is not weakness. It is, instead, a demonstration of dignity, strength and determination in the face of evil. And it works. Non-violent resistence led to the independence of India and the Philipines. It also resulted in the end of American apartheid.
The other thing about non-violent resistence is that it is far better than shooting rockets into Israel. Rockets only make the Israeli's angry, and they immediately get the rest of the world on Israel's side. If you want to make Israel look like the bully you think they are - then practice peace. If they attack you when you practice peace, the entire world will condemn them for it.
Oh, and I told you the truth straight up about how the British started off in the direction of supporting a Jewish Palestinian state, but then turned against the Jews. It's true. If you don't think it is true, it is because your teachers and leaders have been lying to you to get you to go along with their reckless ideology. Reseach the matter for yourself instead of accepting their version without question.
Oh, and where is Khaled Mashaal these days? In Syria? Why is he not among his own people, fighting for them if he really believes in the cause of violence? He is willing to shed blood all right, including yours - but he will never risk a drop of his own. He's just like the Palestinian leaders who ran away in '48. Next time, elect a leader who will stand in front of his people when when he leads them.

33. #28 - Give me a break; will you John
Unfortunately, you are twisting the facts upside down with your claims that Britain did not help the israelis in 1948. Can you tell me from where did the israelis get aeroplanes and tanks to fight the Palestinians and the fake arab armies. Mind you Britain did not help the Jordanian army in gaining back Latrun but in reality they gave up Lud and Ramlah instead since the Jordanian Army was led by a british commander called Glob Pasha (if you know history). I must confess that our fathers and grandfathers made a big sin by leaving their own land to refuge; they should have stayed there even if they die.
Now, what else you think would happen, after all, the delima of israel is now widening and because of their arrogance of power yet they have not learned the lesson from Gaza so far but perhaps they will also repeat the same mistake with Lebanon. Let us wait and see.

34. #33 - Your answers (break) - Abdul
You first ask where the Israelis got tanks and planes to fight in the '48 war. The short answer is: post-war Europe (mostly), with the exception of the British.
Europe was strewn with weapons in the wake of WW II. Countries like France, Italy and Czechoslovakia had more weapons parked on their soil than they could ever use. These same countries didn't have much cash. So they were quite happy to sell the weapons to Israel. Israel got its tanks from France and Italy. It got most of its aircraft from Czechoslovakia - as well as pilot training.
In contrast, the only weapons the Israelis got from the British were a handfull of tanks they had stolen from them, and aircraft they were able to reclaim from abandon airfields and the planes they shot down during the course of the war.
Second, the Arab armies weren't fake. They were quite real. The whole area (Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan) were all represented - along with a number of paramilitary units - like the Muslim Brotherhood (from Egypt) and the ALA.
Third, John Baggot Glub - was THE commanding officer of the Jordanian Legion. The entire Legion was trained and commanded by British officers. The Legion, under Glub, was the only arab army not to be entirely pushed out of Palestine. When the fighting was over, they still held the West Bank, East Jerusalem and much of the surrounding territory. THAT is help.
Fourth, the British Air Force flew missions out of Egypt in support of the attack on Israel. The Israelis shot down four of their planes. So much for helping the Israelis.
Fifth, plug your ears for what is about to happen in Gaza, Lebanon and elsewhere. I fear the disaster is just beginning.

"And [remember] when Moses said to his people: 'O my people, call in remembrance the favour of God unto you, when he produced prophets among you, made you kings, and gave to you what He had not given to any other among the peoples. O my people, enter the Holy Land which God has assigned unto you, and turn not back ignominiously, for then will ye be overthrown, to your own ruin.'" [Qur'an 5:20-21
THE QUR'AN SAYS:
"To Moses We [Allah] gave nine clear signs. Ask the Israelites how he [Moses] first appeared amongst them. Pharoah said to him: 'Moses, I can see that you are bewitched.' 'You know full well,' he [Moses] replied, 'that none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth has revealed these visible signs. Pharoah, you are doomed.'"
"Pharoah sought to scare them [the Israelites] out of the land [of Israel]: but We [Allah] drowned him [Pharoah] together with all who were with him. Then We [Allah] said to the Israelites: 'Dwell in this land [the Land of Israel]. When the promise of the hereafter [End of Days] comes to be fulfilled, We [Allah] shall assemble you [the Israelites] all together [in the Land of Israel]."
"We [Allah] have revealed the Qur'an with the truth, and with the truth it has come down. We have sent you [Muhammed] forth only to proclaim good news and to give warning."
