What is it the Palestinians call doing the opposite of what Israel thinks needs to be done to achieve some objective (like when they were offered ALMOST everything they wanted at Taba)? They call it "exercising our legitimate right of resistence". Well, NC, the Israelis, by not agreeing to release prisoners to get the soldiers back, and instead answering the affront with bombs on a MILITARY TARGET (read the article), are exercising their "legitimate rights of resistence". I would love to see our Foreign Ministry throw these phrases back on the PA. Let's start with "legitimate resistence". Then we'll talk about "right of return" for Gaza refugees, "natural rights to bear arms against the occupation of Occupied Israeli Territory", like the old Jewish neighborhoods of Hebron and Old Jerusalem. Oh, and we can call their acts "war crimes" when they target non-combatants and civilians (that means they do it with purpose, for those who are too challenged to note the difference between what Palestinians do and Israelis do). That'd be gratifying.
