Sadly Israel is fighting as limited and losing war. It will take a large number of deaths in Israelis cities before Israel stops attacking empty runways and empty buildings at night and begins to bleed this enemy with serious and truly painful attacks. Olmerts plan so far has only made it painful to runways and empty buildings,while the enemy succeeds in direct hits on Israeli citizens. They're not afraid to directly target civilians but Israel is afraid to send a really strong message. It's still more empty words and limited response. The limited and restrained attacks from Olmert do not send a strong enough message to the jihadists. Thier desire to wage war against Israel has not been snuffed out.

An Israeli citizen is an Israeli citizen - Jew, Arab, Druze, whatever. Considering the fact that Hizbullah doesn't care who they kill (and they don't consider Sunni Muslims to be "real" Muslims anyway) Arab citizens should also have protection. Well, it's been several years since Israel left the last inch of occupied Lebanese soil - so what is the justification for coward hijackings and Katyushas attacks? Very simple: Hizballah, like most of Arabs (especially Shi'a) cannot accept the very idea of Jewish State and clearly shares Hamas' dream of an Arab Palestine from the Mediterranean to the Jordan.
