10. ARABS ALLOWED to BREAK LAWS ENDANGER ISRAEL
THE SELF DESTRUCT DOUBLE STANDARD by Yoram Ettinger, January 20, 2006 Illegal Arab construction has become a norm, led by the Palestinian Authority (many PA officials reside in illegal homes), bankrolled by Saudi petrodollars and observed by the wide-closed eyes of Israel. Illegal construction has become an effective means to challenge Jewish sovereignty over Jerusalem, to undermine major infrastructure and housing projects in the Negev and Galilee, to limit the freedom/security of Jewish movement along major transportation arteries, to facilitate terrorism and to exacerbate crime. Over 1,000 illegal houses are built annually – by Jerusalem Arabs – since 1997. Only 30-40 are demolished by the authorities. About 10,000 illegal houses are built, annually, by "Green Line" Arabs in the Galilee, Negev, "Triangle", Lod and Ramleh. About 100 are demolished. Since 1967, there has been more Arab residential (largely illegal) construction in Jerusalem than Jewish construction in the capital of the Jewish State. But, Israel is enforcing the law in an iron-fist manner when it comes to a few scores of Jewish houses throughout Judea & Samaria and Hebron (built on a Jewish-registered property, which was ravaged by Arabs in 1929). Legal and governance impotence have characterized Israel's battle against illegal Arab construction, which threatens Israel's sovereignty and the rule of law in Jerusalem and all over the country. Palestinian documents, found at the PLO's "Orient House", highlight illegal construction as a key instrument in the campaign to erode the Jewish character of Jerusalem. According to the documents, the Palestinian Authority (PA) has enticed illegal construction in Jerusalem's Arab neighborhoods of Shoafat, Beit Haninah and A-Zaim, in order to prevent continuity between the Jewish neighborhoods of French Hill and Pisgat Ze'ev, and to avert the unification of Jerusalem and Ma'aleh Adoumim. Illegal construction is raging along Highway 443, the critical road from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, with the aim to transform it into an Arab road, threatening the security of Jewish transportation. While a 1999 Palestinian document anticipated that Israel was determined "to demolish 400-500 illegal houses in Beit Haninah and Shoafat", a 2000 document notified the PA that "no need to worry", since Israel would only demolish a few houses, and illegal construction could proceed with full speed ahead. For instance, illegal construction in the Jerusalem Arab neighborhood of Silwan has been a platform for intensified terrorism and felony. Forging real estate titles has proliferated in the Arab sector, robbing state-owned land as well as privately owned Arab land, fueling extortion, protection, gang-wars and the importation of illegal Arab residents from Hebron and other towns to Jerusalem – a fertile ground for terrorism.

12. Not Kikar Tzahal (Square)
The photo shows the area right in front of the New Gate of the Old City. Not Kikar Tzahal, which is 50 meters away from there. Admittedly not very far, but significant: he came through Shaar HaChadash, not through Shaar Yaffo. Admittedly he could have come walking from the Shaar Shechem area, but that doesn't seem likely. Then he would not have taken the route along Kikar Tzahal (where there is a lot of police), but would have gone through the smaller streets. If I were a terrorist, I would come out of Shaar Shechem, cross HaTzanchanim at the Novotel around Shmuel HaNavi, walk through Meah Shearim via the Bikur Cholim Hospital, and into Yaffo / Ben Yehuda / King George street areas. That way you wouldn't meet any police posts. (There is frequently a police post on the beginning of HaNevi'im street next to HaTzanchanim.) They can't even plan terror attacks decently. Let alone run the Gaza strip. Then how do we ever expect them to run the whole West Bank?!

Dear friend. If you support Israeli occupation of Palestine, Shabaa farms in Lebanon, and the Golan heights in Syria, then congratulations ! You are now among the minorty in the world. The EU was very firm in denouncing Israeli occupation of Palestine and the one-sided plan by Olmert. Lets hope that your eyes are open when you see how many Palestinians are killed in Gaza ( the big prison ) , and how many more are being killed in West Bank . I hope you ahve heard of the wall, illegal wall that is, which is not built to bring peace but rather to steal Palestinian land. You may have heard about the 10,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.. terrorists according to Isarelis, freedom fighters according to others. The entire Palestinian population ( almost 10 millions inside and outside Palestine ) did not surrender since 1917, since 1948, since 1967, since 1982, and will never ever surrender untill our land is liberated ( West Bank + Gaza + East Jerusalem ). Once this happen, Israel will be safe for ever and I personally will not allow a rock to be thrown at any Israeli. One way to peace: end occupation , get peace and economic growth.

According to the UN...not me, Shaba farms are on ISraeli soil. I don't know who teaches you your information, but it's wrong. And as for palestinians, they never wanted a state next to Israel. They were offered it and rejected it more than once...why should we gove them a second chance??? Especially after they voted for Hamas, a terror group that wants to destroy Israel??? Can you answere these questions without spewing some crap this time???

23. why the west backs israel
Who really wants peace? Is it the Jews? Are they involved in 8 different battle fronts imposing their version of law? Are they strapping bombs to themselves and blowing up schools, theatres and airlines? Are the jews killing athletes at the Oympics? Are the jews threating to wipe countries off the map? Do the jews have a 60% inbred population?I can't speak for Europe, but the Americans only want to have families and enjoy life. We will protect that right to the end. As far as we can tell, militant islam wants no peace until the jews are gone. That is making our tiny planet not so peaceful. We all know israel has the power to forever stop miltant islam, yet they do not use it. We all know Israel could make life harsh for everyone in the middle east and yet it does not use it. Why is this? If the militants had the same power they would use it even if it meant their own destruction. 9/11 only cemented our conclusions that the planet would be better off if militant islam was wiped off the planet.
