It's so easy to criticise Israel for their action inside Lebanon. People who have seen Israel do wrong in the past will judge this current conflict by their experience of past conflicts. It's too easy to slam Israel for their air raids in Lebanon and the civilian casualties but let's remember; Hezbollah targets civilians and aims to cause as much civilian death as possible Israel responds to this and aims to wipe out Hezbollah which is causing this damage. I read somewhere earlier that the main reason for civilian death in Lebanon is the fact that the Hezbollah hide behind civilians and use them as shields. Even though I am Jewish and have some bias in my opinion, I can still criticise Israel when neccessary. Let's look at the occupation; this is the blockade to peace. The war with Hezbollah will soon be over, and then the media and the world will focus on the occupation of the Palestinians. When this happens, we need to support a two state solution where both people can live in peace within their own borders. An occupation deserves a response, but Israel left Lebanon in 2000, and there is no occupation anymore. So let's be smart, let's criticise where criticism is due, and not let our pre-concieved prejudices guide us to a wrong judgement.

Danny you are right about the Judgements thing. Everyone knows how the USA is treating prisoners in Iraq and guantanamo and other secret prisons, the prisoners are suffering and most of them dying . Does any one know how Israel treats prisoners ?? Well i know , i knew many persons who were prisoners and they suffered , believe you won't imagine how they treated them ... You seem a little naive here. Of course Lebanon is a beautifel place, but it is being run by hezballah, not by the Lebanese Army.
