The 3 kidnapped soldiers are merely the tip of an iceberg of a violent, destructive trend, whose sole purpose is to erase Israel from the map. Regarding proportionality: the IAF has executed 3 to 4 times more sorties than attacks. ie, they don't attack blindly. They make sure they are attacking specific targets. Based on the numbers now, there is approximately one 'civilian' death per TEN sorties, one per more than four attacks. Given the IAF's stellar reputation, I promise you it's not because they're missing, but rather, bc they're trying to be careful. Additionally, they announce their intentions before, greatly hampering operational activities, in order to protect civilians. Show me one other army that is so considerate of civilians of other nations. And while we're on the subject, a point about 'civilians'. Hizbullah wear civilian clothing and, since they're not in the Lebanese army. technically, Hizbullah are civilians. What you forgot to do was to make the IMPORTANT DISTINCTION BETWEEN CIVILIANS AND INNOCENT CIVILIANS. Technically, the rocket launching Hizbullah operatives are civilians.
