1. EU force
No doubt the EU force will be as useful as the UN force. Let us not forget the UN were in Lebanon and are still in Lebanon and never lifted a finger to help Israel while it was rocketed and hostages taken in fact they observed and enjoyed the show. Any EU force will do the same.
We must realise that the EU is disgusted by having to watch Jews defend themselves and fight terrorists. They feel this is disproportionate.
Yes in their eyes Jews should never fight back in fact they would like us to line up in orderly queues for the gas chambers!

3. Why not?
The Europeans have been complaining long enough. I think that a 50,000 man force, combat troops from England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Norway, and all the other countries that always seem to have plenty to say about this is just what the doctor ordered. Let them deploy with weaponry and robust rules of engagement along the southern border and along the Syrian border. Let it be under Nato command. Why not? Has a matter of fact I'd tell Chirac that we want French troops there tomorrow. It shouldn't be a problem for the French. Even if the last competent French general was Corsican

5. really?
I am so amazed on the way Ynet reports on the stupidity of Olmert, as if there is only Olmert who has to agree to the existence of NATO troops!? I guess Hizbuallah is way too weak to say anything, right?
The answer is NO to any troops that is an ally to Israel, and it will be viewed as an enemy, therefore, Olmert and Ynet b.s is not starter.

The EU, with countries like the UK, France, Sweden, Norway and one or two others will sell out to Arab oil and political pressure from their large Arab and Moslem communities.
We must learn from history. A NATO force ould be far more acceptable.

11. Don't let them
The force Kofi is mentioningin the U.N; is a miltary force that in thier eyes could stand up or be equal to Israel. This is just a clever deception to land world forces on Israel's border because as far as the world is concerned there is no other way to approach Israel with a military force with out it looking like the world is going to war with Israel. Also I am sure that the U.N will allow hezbollah to keep attacking while they order Israel to stand down. This will open the door for the grounds to invade Israel, especially if European/UN military forces are hit by Israel or if Israel disobeys EU/UN cessation forces. Remember most of the contributing countries are very anti-semitic and the countries that will join once, EU/UN forces are disobeyed or attacked is; Russia. I pray to the L-RD that the United States will not be involved.

attack syrian army. no 'collateral losses'. if iran gets involved, simple, don't be afraid and nuke the scattered nuclear plants in iran (ie busher, natanz etc). this will eliminate the threat that is much worse than hizbollah. the world will be shocked, but secretly very grateful. and the muslims will realize how far we will go. let us use this crisis to our advantage.

16. An idea of unparalleled insanity
The Europeans are our enemies. Europe, the continent of genocide, hates Israel and the Jewish people. The European Union has ensured the continued funding of the Palestinian terror war (and yes, Palestinian terrorists have not disappeared just because we've heard less of them lately). Europeans have taken the side of Hizbullah terrorists against Israel in the present war. A European force would operate purely to protect Hizbullah and would facilitate further terrorist attacks on Israel.
This is a crazy idea.

17. European and American forces oversee islamization of Kosovo
Just imagine what damage they will do to Israel. Since the EU openly supports Arabs, will Israelis end up with fighting against the EU?
Olmert is a total and complete disaster for Israel.
The man has no stomach for fighting; he can be only somebody's lap-dog. Just look at his face. I wouldn’t buy a used car from the man. What is he cooking up now?
Face it, the only reason the US is on the Israeli side is that Saudis so wish. Please don’t allow foreign
forces in Israel or on Israel’s borders. Please, do not relinquish control of your defenses and your sovereignty. Whatever happened to the promise ‘NEVER AGAIN'
|
|
18. Inacceptable
An EU force won't be able to disarm Hizballah and won't event try to do it. On the contrary, they will protect them against Israeli retaliations.
That's the obvious purpose of the French and that's they are currently doing in Ivory Coast where they succeeded in destroying a once wealthy country.
However, if their mandate is strictly limited to Hizballah disarment during a short and fixed time frame and permits any Israeli retaliations against Hizballah in case of Zeropean failure, it could be much more than funny.

20. Difference betwen UN and NATO forces
For those who doesn't have any idea about the difference here's some info about it :
the UN are peace forces they just watch , they are unarmed and are not authorised to do anything just watch and inform .
NATO forces or EU force they are fully armed , they have their Anti-aircraft weapons, light and heavy weapons, where no one can ever get near the borders, even if israel wanted to take some spying photos as always the NATO forces have the right to shoot it down and vice versa.
PEOPLE DO SOME RESEARCH WOW!!! SO STUPID

21. EU HYPOCRITES LEGALIZE MURDER OF JEWS?
Haj Amin, Jerusalem's Muslim religious leader,
travelled to
Europe and spent the war years helping Hitler murder
Europe's Jews.
Europeans deported Jews from
European countries over 80 times. European ethnic
Jew-cleansing addicts, along with the U.S. are
leading
the charge for present-day Jew deportation.
http://www.ipc.gov.ps/ipc_new/english/details.asp?name=11588
GAZA, Palestine, November 6, 2005 (IPC + Agencies) - -
The President of
the
European Union's Development Committee, Luisa
Morgantini, declared that
the
EU has laid a plan with a budget of several millions
of dollars to
support
several aspects of development in the Gaza Strip...
She continued that occupied nations have the right to
defend themselves
using legitimate means of armed resistance in
accordance with the
Fourth
Geneva Convention."
65 years ago, it was unacceptable for Jews to live in
Europe. In our present day, the EU legitimizes the
maiming and murder of Jews for living in their Jewish
homeland.
In 1948, Egypt invaded Gaza and ethnically cleansed
ALL Jews. In 1948, Jordan invaded Judea, Samaria and
east Jerusalem and ETHNICALLY CLEANSED ALL
JEWS.
In 1967 when Israel won Islam's religious war of
aggression against it, Jews returned to the areas of
their homeland they had been ethnically cleansed from
for 19 years. Islamofascists and their powerful allies
DECEITFULLY call this return "occupation".
Under international law, territories are considered
"occupied" only when taken in an act of aggression
which does not apply to Israel. Judea, Samaria
and
Gaza are not 'occupied territories' according to
international law because they were not taken from any
foreign sovereign. There NEVER was an Arab country of
Palestine.
The hands of the EU are bloody.

22. Supervision of Hizbullah and Israel
I agree that the present plan being thrown around, that of European counties, NATO an EU, supervising any ceasefire or negiotiation will not work due to the overwhelming biased support of Hizbullah by these countries.
Here is my proposal which I think has a better chance of real supervision and monitoring: The EU/NATO forces togather with Lebanese delegates supervise Israeli compliance and the US, Briton and Israeli delegates/soldiers supervise Lebanon/Hizbullah/Syrian/Iran complaince. I think this would result in action if either party were noncomplaint at least it would result in tattle telling. I have no problems with the Euopean forces monitoring the Israeli's who have complied as much as the terrorists would permit. And the other fraction which has Israel's better interests would be a real force to deal with any infractions which I believe will occur shortly after any cease fire. Both sides could be armed with authority to use armed force and make arrests. Oh I forgot, the UN can monitor only the Israeli compliance. These forces stay in effect until the UN mandates regarding the disarmament of the Hizbullah are complied with to Israel's satisfaction, not to the satisfaction of Europe or the US.

23. Even being VERY difficult to resist pressures
Israel MUST listen only for itself.
Government must gather their best heads and decide with THEIR OWN BRAINS what is the best for Israel.
And it must reflect the Israeli's People wish for DEFINITIVE Peace and Prosperity .
IT IS FUNDAMENTAL FOR ISRAEL TO TAKE THE REINS OF THE SITUATION FIRMLY AND COURAGEOUSLY IN ITS OWN HANDS,AND TO LOOK ONLY FOR ITS OWN INTERESTS.
After all,is Israel a Sovereign state or not?
It doesn't matter if the price to be payed would be a slow down in the economy or what ever.
We Jews are very capable to rebuild in ANY situation and always for better.
Be courageous to clean and open the right way for yourselves.
And this way ,certainly,is not the western model it has being imposed by now.
Israel have to find its own original and characteristic way of life.
Get rid of all these troubling gentiles, please!

24. #21 something is true
Hey Linda, to understand the real story of what happened we need to go back to history and to prophets time and see what really happened, everyone knows that palestine was the jews promised Land thats true and no one denies it especially muslims its in the Holy Quran, but the problem now is the Jews themselves, they never believed in GOD with everything god gave them but still never believed , so they were thrown away everywhere on earth, something like cursed, and as you know there will be a huge war between muslims and jews at the end but no one knows when :) so be prepared for this day ....

25. EU and many nations together as one = UN
From what I recall in the UN minutes; Kofi asked for a different type of UN force. Something that could handle the situation. Strong enough to cause “cessation” of fighting. It must be better equipped than current UN forces. Also Kofi and most of the EU countries condemned Israel’s use of force calling it disproportionate. The EU countries that want to send an army of many countries to help the UN attain its goals. The EU needs permission from the UN to make that move and most likely UN will accompany these EU forces and possibly join up. Of course this is all speculation because I don’t know the strategy but they have stated their intentions. I know not all European citizens have views, opinions or beliefs against Israel and the Jewish people. Though it is hard to tell with the reports of racist attacks and anti–Semitic crimes on the rise throughout the EU and Russia. The mass demonstrations against Israel throughout the EU and Middle East calling on the UN (the world police force who has the right to nuke a country and to send any troops with heavy weapons to any country who doesn’t comply) to put a stop to Israel. Just because the UN have sent people to monitor and have a passive roll in wars they have witnessed many atrocities and have done nothing. This doesn’t mean they will not use force in the future because ultimately that is the grand design is to disarm all nations and assume a policing role in this new global order. So it is a crazy idea that the UN and EU are together, but try telling them that.

26. EU Force?
What to hell is that?
Yeah let's send in a bunch of French surrender monkeys to Lebanon. They should be able to get the job done. Once they find out that they won't be able to nosh on grapes and brie daily they will surrender all of France to the Hizbullah.
French tanks have 1 forward gear (slow) and 5 reverse gears. They are all equipped with a white sheet and flagpole.
I guess it will suck to be Hizbullah when they find that Al Queda already is in charge of France.
