As a native Boston-area resident who studied in this area, I can assure you that people in the United States do not take Noam Chomsky seriously. No one cares about his political commentary. He is an anti-American and anti-Israeli academic who happens to be Jewish by descent. He is on the left-wing fringe and speaks for no one but himself. Ynet should not grant him any publicity. Chomsky appeals only to the lunatic left, which fortunately has no political power (even in Massachusetts!). If you did a survey in Massachusetts, less than 5% of the public could identify him (outside of students of linquistics and his political fellow travelers).
