No other arab nation is foolish enough to come to the aid of Syria in open war with Isreal. Iran may wish to try but there is a small problem of the US military occupying the nation that sits between Iraq and Syria, not to mention that US forces are also on the OTHER side of Iran in Afghanistan. The IDF is vastly superior to the Syrian military in every regard. They outnumber the Isrealis in every conflict and still they cannot beat them. Arabs are cowards and cannot stand and fight, history has shown this time and again. They shout about how brave they are, but they always hide behind women and children when the real fighting starts. I pray Syria is stupid enough to attack Isreal so that Damascus can be incinerated and wiped from the face of the earth.

It's all a huge dillusion. The Arab world talks so much crap until they are totally demolished, captured, and humiliated. I wish the people would wake up and see the danger that their leaders have put them in. Their so called saviors are the exact reason civilians are dying. You do not have the military power that you think you do and if the US, Israel, or whatever western country wanted to completely destroy the middle east they could. We don't have wars like WWI and WWII now, but if we did you would all be dead. Wars are mostly politcal now, but let me tell you. If Syria and Iran step it up, there will be nothing that can save you. Wake up people. Start thinking for yourselves and you may realize that you cannot win.

I live in Canada, and read news like this everyday. It's difficult to understand all the hatred in the middle east from here, but from what I know, I will give an opinion. Syria does want this war. No they may not be able to conquer Isreal alone. The thing is they are not alone. Count Iran among allies, and possibly Egypt and Saudi Arabia and Russia and China and North Korea. If Syria gets involved, I have a feeling this will not be a regional war, it will be WWIII.

The peace talks are a joke. Even if there is some form of peace Iran and Syria will have to be dealt with one day. Might as well deal with them now instead of down the road when they are stronger. I propose a nuclear strike against Iran. If muslim countries have a problem with that I propose a nuclear strike against them. Let's take mecca out and give it back to the devil.

You are right on and in agreement with the prophet Isaiah. Iin Isaiah 17, verses 1 and 4, it states that Damascus will not survive and will be one of the first, if not the first, casualty of the assault on Israel.

Let's get this over with!!! Israel should initiate an immediate cease fire, give the U.N. 96 hours to evacuate all civilians from Lebanon and Syria, and then NUKE both countries.

I do believe the EU will step in and have some answers to this middle east issue. It is a holy war for the muslims, and self-defense for Israel. As it pertains to the Arabs' numerical superiority: Remember your history--in 1948, Israel was attacked by seven Arab nations (they were outmanned and outgunned), and yet, they were victorious. I can only believe that it was by the grace of God (the true God of Israel) Where was (a)llah?. I believe that he saw the true power of a true God and decided to leave his people in their time of need.
