Why do you think Israel lost these battles? They entered and left of their own volition. From the beginning they said they're going to conduct pinpoint operations instead of a broad ground offensive. They achieved their goals in these two villages and are stepping back. They took some hits but Hizbullah was hit much harder. The Israelis are also getting smarter and stronger as they gain experience in what Hizbullah has been planning for 6 years. Cheer up, as usual Israel comes out on top.

Lebanese are fighting the war of Iran and Syria, to deflect world from taking Iran to UN Security Council. Did Israel need this war ?
