1. What was the Actual Target at 12.30 -1am????
Roger ,   California   (07.31.06)
I think we need to determine. Did the IAF target the house or the area near the house? Was a rocket launcher near the house? If a rocket launcher was near the house then the house sustained damage at 1am when the target was attacked and then collapsed at 8 am. The people killed look like they have been killed by a collapsing house similar to an earthquake and not a missile - especially if that missile had phosphorous.
2. How many rescue workers carry the same bodies?
Roger ,   California   (07.31.06)
How many people does it take to carry a body to an ambulance? http://eureferendum.blogspot.com/
3. Guardian, Independent. Anti-Israel rags. World newspapers ?!
michael ,   tel aviv & london   (07.31.06)
After the headline 'world newspapers' there are just two quotes, one from the Guardian and one from the Independent. These two newspapers attack Israel when every other newspaper defends it. They are more anti-Israeli than the BBC which has now fortunately been somewhat muzzled after recent charges of bias. This is an worthy of publication? I could have told you what the above newspapers would publish without even opening them.
4. The hell with them!
jason white ,   afula,israel   (07.31.06)
Who cares what they say? Did they ever condemn arabs? Why should we care what anti-Israel limey papers print? They mean nothing and britain the slaughterer of millions mean nothing.
5. Hizbullah leaks disinformation
David ,   Oroville, USA   (07.31.06)
Hizbullah intentionally uses civilians especially children to turn public opinion against Israel. I heard one living in Lebenon say that they were not leting civiians escape southern towns to safety. Hizbollah is killing those inocents just as if they were pulling the triger themselves.
6. British Media = Tabloid Rags
Nicholas ,   Boston, USA   (07.31.06)
Worse than any country's reporting agencies in the world. Make's the garbage at the check out counters in the US look legitimate. They'll print anything for 25p.
7. The Guardian's support for terrorists
Ana ,   Spain   (07.31.06)
The Guardian calls it war crimes. Does the Guardian mean the killing of those people was intentional? As a conclusion, the newspaper doesn’t condemn terrorism. Had the Guardian condemn terrorism against Israel before this? Had it condemned the attacks on Israel? As far as I know, the Guardian is also against Israel and for the pal terrorists. As for the war on terror being hypocritical, does the Guardian mean there is no terror against Israel? Why the fight against terror is hypocritical? The newspaper goes on to say that Israel’ fight is illegal. Is it legal for Hizbollah to attack Israel? How is that that Hizbollah even exists and has not been disarmed? The Guardian denies Israel’s fight is for survival. This is also amazing. It is impossible for the Guardian’s journalists not to know the threats by the Iranian president, that Iran finances Hizbollah and which are Hizbollah’s goals. A correction to the Guardian. The murdered soldiers were not three but eight. As far as the Guardian is concerned, Hizbollah can do what it wants to Israel, whereas Israel has no right to defend itself.
8. 5Hizbullah leaks disinformation
Ana ,   Spain   (07.31.06)
And those newspapers are encouraging the terrorists. If they didn't support and justified the terrorists, there would be no point in the terrorists using human shields.
9. IDF Pilot
voice of peace ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.31.06)
I am writing this messege to the IDF Pilot who bombed the children and women in Qana to tell him: I hope that you are happy about your job but I tell you you will never forget the pictures of children killed by you and it is going to be there in history with your name on it, enjoy it, I bet you do. But remember, that peace is the best thing in the world and it is written in Torah, Quran, and Bible.
10. Killing children is a crime. IDF must NOT kill children.
Proud Grandpa ,   www.KingArik.net   (07.31.06)
11. No Mention of the Crippled & Invalids Placed There
H ,   Jerusalem   (07.31.06)
and killed as reported by other news media (e.g DebkaFile)? How brutal of Hizballah terrorists. And they still have the nerve to condemn Israel.
12. It's war, shit happens.
Efrat ,   Israel   (07.31.06)
13. Bombing unfortunate, but justified
Randolph ,   Bethesda, MD, USA   (07.31.06)
Israel takes great pains to avoid civilian casualties. This really puts Israeli soldiers, and ultimately, Israeli civilians at greater risk. The bombing of the building was unfortunate, but it was not deliberate. Israel's military activity in the area, from which large numbers of deadly rockets have been fired, was reasonable and justified. Also, it is important to remember that anti-semitism underlies a lot of the criticism, especially by the likes of Israel-hater, Robert Fisk. The Guardian, moreover, is a typical left-wing rag. It reliably parrots every left-wing slander and slur du jour. Of course, that means accusing Israel of war crimes. Indeed, it is the activity of Hizbollah, and their apologists, Fisk and the Guardian, that is so criminal.
14. When has Hizbullah apologized?
Jesus ,   SF, USA   (07.31.06)
It is sad to see ANY deaths, especially of children and innocent people. Israel is humane enough, yes...humane enough, to say "We are sorry." When's the last time Hizbullah or Hamas or any terrorist group say, "We're sorry."? Hizbullah is loving this for sure. But, just like #2 mentioned...how many pictures of the same thing can be shown to get some kind of sympathy? World newspapers? If there are only a handful of world newspapers...we're in trouble. These are newspapers that thrive on these kinds of pictures. The war has more than just one people suffering. Where are the pictures of these others? Obviously not in the "World Newspapers." Like I said, there are more than just these innocents that have suffered. If you...yes you... are grieving over these and not the others...you need to check your humanity factor and ask yourself if you truly value life, because it is not only Lebanese innocents that are suffering. If anything, ask the taxi drivers why the hell are they charging to help people evacuate? If I had a car...there would be NO WAY IN HELL I would charge people money to save their lives. Go ahead...ask those people?
15. this is the only site that mentioned 8 am collapse
(07.31.06)
they reach the building at 8 am . who said that the house collapsed @ 8 .take responsibility be responsible.
16. Let the media see this
Shai ,   Israel   (07.31.06)

17. Do the Arabs Ever Apologize?
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (07.31.06)
The hitting of this building may have been a mistake, it may have been done on purpose if it was harboring terrorists and/or their weapons or it blew up because of a hidden arsenal in the basement. Whatever the reason, the question remains, why does the world not demand the Arabs apologize and regret what they are doing to us? They have shot thousands of missiles at our people and cities, caused millions of dollars of damage to property and to the economy, and have distrupted the normal, quiet daily lives of millions of innocent citizens. Where is their apology?
18. Hey Roger, it's the same person, you barbarian.
Khalid   (07.31.06)
That picture showed the same bearded relief worker carrying the same child to an ambulance, regardless of how many pictures were taken on his way! And that was a red cross worker carrying him and not a Hizballah fighter so are you claiming the red cross is in on this "conspiracy" as well? Get a life. Did you expect the worker to toss the dead child onto the ambulance just so that reporters don't have enough time to take several pictures of him? You are pathetic, go and kill more children in the name of your self-defense.
19. 2
(07.31.06)
have you heard about sympathy
20. Milking it?
Chris ,   LA   (07.31.06)
Milking it? Amazing how the people who don't care about civilian lives immediately jump on the bandwagon of these kinds of shit and like that Israeli MK claiming conspiracy... The actual massacre was bad enough but ppl making such statements so quickly offends me above all else. Lemme ask you this: if you don't feel for arab civilian deaths why do you expect any better from arabs? It's a simple question.
21. Understand
Mike ,   New York   (07.31.06)
Why is any critic of an Israeli action considered an anti-semite? It is ironic that the NY Jewish community critisizes the black community for overutilizing the race card, when in fact they are guilty of the same. No one is perfect nor is any government , open critisism is sometimes necessary and mine is as follows. The IDF is a highly skilled and effective military force that can carry out its task with percision. If Israel were to unload a nuclear bomb in Lebanon and kill 100 Hezbollah fighters and 1 million civilians would that action be appropriate. NO!! Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah are all wrong in what they are doing. Now I know that some idiot will reply "Yes, kill them all". I wont bother to respond to that, a soul with such hatred is already condemed.
22. Terrorists...
Pat ,   USA   (07.31.06)
Like hizbollah hide behind women and children just so those they are fighting against can be criticized by public opinion. When will the idiots of the world understand this tactic? Probably never, which is sad as many of these critics/people really want a peaceful world for all of us (no they aren't idiots). Israel did the right thing! hizbollah intentionally caused this to happen....forcing women and children to remain in area , or be placed in the line of fire just so they could launch their rockets around them and it would seem as though Israel doesn't care about civilians. Cowardly koran "warriors" such as hizbollah's should offend every decent person on the globe. They cause the deaths of innocent women and children through their own actions...and dance in the streets if these deaths bring them benefit. hizbollah is a sick, satanic organization for ever hiding behind them...and I'd love nothing more than to knock nasralleh's glasses of his face over this!
23. Khalid
Ana   (07.31.06)
And why not? After all, most of UNWRA "workers" are hamas terrorists? Did the Red Cross visited the "captured" soldiers? Did the Red Cross protested it? Which side is the Red Cross on?
24. The Arabs dont need to apologize
Ana   (07.31.06)
Their aim is to kill civilians. It would be nonsensical to apologize for having achieved it.
25. #10 - is killing a 'child' a greater crime ?
michael ,   tel aviv & london   (07.31.06)
you keep writing 'killing children is a crime'. Is it more of a crime than killing an adult ? And please don't answer, 'they are innocent' or 'they didn't live very long' because they are easily refutable answers. Killing a child is not a greater crime than killing an adult. And killing a woman is not a greater crime than killing a man.
26. Hypocrisy of the world
zvi ,   los angeles USA   (07.31.06)
When Jews are murdered the world is silent . Did Anan get upset when 8Israelis died by rocket fire in Haifa? No The UN is an antisemitic cesspool Only the IDF drops leaflets G-d forbid our enemies ever get the weapons to destroy us NEVER AGAIN WE MUST ACT NOW TO DESTROY HIZBOLLAH BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
27. You are Zionist
Hanadi ,   Gaza,Palestine   (07.31.06)
Well, remember that you were all homeless, and Britain is the country which brought you here to our land, you are aggressive and your beleif that all the world should die and you as jewish live is a bullshit as your thinking.tomorrow is another day and the end of Israel is coming sooner or later
28. How can we stand by
Ken ,   Paso Robles USA   (07.31.06)
It is very ironic. Most armies use their weapons to defend people. The Arabs use people to defend their weapons.
29. #2 u r really stupid as ur posted website
Hussein ,   Jerusalem   (07.31.06)
30.  12. It's war, Efrat happens.
