Hezbollah started this conflict. Should we condemn Israel because it is doing a better job of the fighting than Hezbollah? When Hezbollah launched their recent attacks on the sovreign state of Israel, it was effectively a declaration of war on Israel by an organisation condoned by Lebanon (and possibly the UN). It is ludicrous to suppose that a state should not have the right to defend itself and its citizens against attack. Certainly, the sights we see on TV are terrible, and some people say that what both sides are doing is equally wrong, with so many civilians being killed. But there is one tiny (but crucial) difference between the two sides. The Israeli military is trying to target Hezbolla personnel and materiel, not the civilian population in whose midst Hebollah has deliberately embedded itself. By contrast, Hezbollah is sending rockets indiscriminately at urban areas such as Haifa, and their target is precisely the civilian population. Sure, there are many civilian dead on each side of the border, but those on the Lebanese side are accidental, while those in Israel are deliberate. And in normal life, that one small difference would be precisely the difference between accidental death and premeditated murder. And in this conflict, it is precisely the difference between a military force and a terrorist one.

There have been many religions as well as languages in history. Most of them disappeared (think of the Aztec, Mayan or old Babylonian religions) in due time. Judaism is quite old and has survived annihilation attempts by very strong peoples, from the Greeks and Romans to the modern Germans. Islam, on the other hand, is a recent and passing religion or a kind of fashion. Though somewhat popular right now, it won't last long, mainly because Muslims will continue to do what they can to turn the world against themselves. What Muslims fear is the following: they thought that at least the Middle East they conquered was theirs forever. Then the legitimate owners came back and, though much less numerous, defeated them against and again. One can smell the Muslims' fear, the fear of illegitimate occupiers who can already see that the Jews were there much earlier and that Judaism will outlive Islam. There will still be Jews and Israel when traces of Islam won't be found nowhere except in forgotten history books.

I know that Hezbollah was established because of the Israeli occupation of Lebanon in 1982. Now, it is right that Hezbollah started by crossing into Israel and killing 8 soldiers and capturing 2 others, but right after that Beirut was destroyed by Israel! The first thing they attacked was the airport and fuel tanks. Israel then attacked a power plan in Beirut, like the only one in Gaza they destroyed. At that point I wondered, why don't Israel suck all oxygen from the atmosphere as well so that people in Lebanon will not be able to breath. Unfortunately, the mask has fallen, and all the BS they are talking about terrorist is not valid anymore, got to find another story, like the one that Hezbollah using civilian as human shields, so as Hamas... While Hezbollah and Hamas were established as a consequence of Israel’s killing of Lebanese and Palestinians... You should be ashamed of yourself justifying such crimes by Israel.
