31. #29 Stan, you, like your
friend Faizal, are out of touch with reality. Unlike Hezbollah, Israel has no use for and does not take civilian hostages. The 5 prisoners taken are undoubtedly ranking Hezzies but Hezbo would have you believe otherwise simply to keep you ignorant and keep their lies going. Believe what you like but the reality is that Hezbo is getting its ass handed to it and its days are numbered.

33. One Clear sign israel's ass has been wipped
israel army has more than 50 years of experience, and hezbollah is an organization with less than 25 years of exprience. Results of this war, thousands of lebanese civilians killed, 43 hizbollah fighters on the lebanese side while on the israeli side there are more than 50 soldiers killed and the number is much less for civilians.
numbers just show that hizbollah is winning this war. A small organization is wipping off israel's ass. Israel still cant keep one tank more than a kilometer away from the lebanese border (in lebanon). you dont need to be smart to realize that when a huge army cant get rid of an organization withing 20 days means they are losing.
Also, when hizbollah focuses on killing israeli army and israelies focus on killing civilians (Qana for example) shows u which side is the terrorist side.
this is to the israelies who read this. Enough blood. seriously . Please read this and think for one second. i read your posts and they clearly show that you just defend your government and its decisions so you wont admit mistakes. This is not called democracy. Democracy is to say no when the government is doing something wrong. Your government trying to butt into everyone's buisness is wrong. Do you think they are protecting you ?
Did you have katyusha rockets raining on you before? no you didnt. Katyushas started after Israel bombed Beirut's Airport. Every death that has happened so far in both sides is the israeli government's responsiblity.

34. Ron, Lebanon
Hey Ron,
I think the only fact that you need to live with is that we will never give up on our rights. The arabs should be doing it differently they should all have their own resistance. Money is indeed not enough and I agree it is easy just to talk. I can assure you if Jordan, Syria had their own resistance, Israel would be now negotiating a just peace. Remember, we did not start all this. They did. However, we will decide when it will finish. This seems like a hatred email of destruction. Not at all. The arab countries asked Israel (in Beirut) to follow UN resolutions and go back to the 1967 borders and in return they will have peace with all arabic countries. They didn't. We don't have another choice. They seem to talk as if it is about their existance. Whose existence? It is about having rights and we do have. The fact that we don't have so much money from the US to build a strong army should no stop us from asking for our rights and resisting. So that your children and mine (long time from now) will live the front high!

35. #33 Jeff, I suggest that you
stop smoking so much BC bud. Your logic and argument are fundamentally flawed:
1- Hezbo is a terror organization not a legitimate army;
2- They will never admit the real number of their losses. You can rest assured that if the IDF says it's 400, it's pretty damn close if not accurate;
3- Hezbo deliberately crossed an internationally recognized border kidnapped 2 soldiers, killed 8 and comitted an act of war;
4- Prior to that, they fired occassional Katyusha barrages into Northern Israel but Israel chose to ignore them;
5- Israel operates with impunity anywhere in Lebanon it wishes. Hezbo can do nothing to stop them;
6- Qana is another example of Palliwood. There is evidence that the building collapsed 7 hours after it was allegedly hit.
It would serve you well to learn the facts and do some in-depth research before you spout your nonsense.

36. Rebuttal on #18
You are right that the Israelis citizen is highly intelligent and they know when they are winning. I haven't seen Hizbullah enter in Israel territory in the last two weeks. All I have seen is them hiding behind little kids and women to shoot their rockets. When Israel doesn't attack, they blow up the building with the 56 civilians inside to blame on Israel. But as you said, Israel is intelligent and knows when they are winning.

37. a sign of Hezbollah desperation
In the beginning it (probably) lied only about its own casualties, which are difficult to verify. Now they lie about Israeli casualties:
claimed to have killed 30-35 soldiers in stead of 3, claimed to have sunk an Israeli ship, claimed to have killed 5 Israelis in Baalbek.

38. Get Off That Al Manar Muzzies - UR Just Being Brainwashed
I bet Nasrallah laughs his ass off at how stupid the majority of the muslim population is. They fall for all the bullshit they will put on Al Manar. It doesnt matter if facts from all side dispute it, they still blindly believe him. This could be perfectly seen when all you muslims were convinced another Israeli ship was taken out, days after all sources said it wasnt true. I almost feel bad for you, but then realize you kill people for a living and the feeling goes away.

44. Who's winning #5
Well I see you have it all wrong.
1. Israel is inside Hizbullah territory. I haven't seen any offensive made by Hizbullah to push the Israeli Army out. Maybe your news in Kuwait is showing something different.
2. Hizbullah didn't respect anything. As reported else where, they came out of hiding and were trying to regroup and set-up for more rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
3. The growing clamor is just that. If the UN and Arab countries really cared about peace in the first place they would have enforced their resolutions the first time. But they are weak and ineffective. All talk and no show.
4. They discovered lies? You have got to be kidding me. You actually believe the stuff you are reading as authentic and news worthy writing? Give me a break!
You must have forgotten what it felt like to have someone crashing through your country killing everything that moves. I am amazed at your short-term memory of what it felt like to be on the receiving side of hatred and agression because someone wanted what you owned.
Terrorist organizations are run by cowards who are able to talk it up, get the young kids to strap bombs to themselves and blow themselves up. Since they are not getting enough men to blow themselves up, they have to now resort to using women. That is very brave! Intelligent too!

46. Dont count of the Lebanese to rescue you
Hey Idiot #7...87% of the Lebanese population support Hezbollah in this battle!! If your whiny army are too weak to cruch Hezbollah dont count on others to do the job, espcially the Lebanese people...we ADORE Hezbollah because it kicked your arse in 2000 out of Lebanon, and it is teaching you a hard lesson now.
I guess if somebody has to learn, is YOU...never think of coming again here!!

47. #33 Jeff from Canada
The unprovoked Hezballah aggression on sovereign Israeli soil was in flagrant violation of international law and constitutes a declaration fo war, especially since Hezballah is in the Lebanese government. Hezballah did not only murder and kidnapp Israeli soldiers but attacked at the same time Israeli civilian communities with rockets.
If Canadian Vancouver would constantly send terrorists to American Seattle it would only be a matter of time before the Americans would go after you and punish your aggression.
Israel has EVERY right to defend itself against an unprovoked aggression and we Israelis couldn't care less what hypocrites around the world think. Anyone who dares to attack Israel will be crushed.

You can add at least 300 dead Hezballah terrorists to the 43 that you mentioned + countless others that the Lebanese propaganda systematically describes as "civilians".

My children and I will live the front high in a democratic country where all its citizens show loyalty to one and only one gov which is the lebanese gov. My front is high when my country is seeking its own interest. The problem between the israelis and the plasitinians is not mine. We saw what the palestinians did in lebanon until they've been kicked out by israel. I don't care if arabs have digested their defeat against israel or not. If they didn't they can go alone to war, they cannot count on me and my children. Resist what? you can sacrifice your children if you want, i'm not sacrificing mine. Just tell me what the hell are you fighting for?

50. Get well Soon!
IDF has to be strong!
I wish for all the injured soldiers to get well soon! and for the fallen ones to rest in peace :(
So far you've made excellent job and i hope you'll keep doing that way.
Israel's going to win, no doubt.

51. What a lie #46
Do you actually believe that the hezbollah kicked Israel out? The only reason israel left if because Barak wanted to make a peaceful gesture and Clinton promised israel hundred of millions of dollars if israel left.
As you are learning right now the hezbollah is not match for the IDF nor will it ever be. Israel can take over your whole country in 1 day your whimpy army is no match and neither are the armies of your allies.
Whatch out the IDF is coming for you

54. to Ron.. it is about rights!
By the way, Ron I just came back from Lebanon. I am back next week.
Nobody is against having a democratic country with one government. But do you really wanna live in a situation where any small mistake can cost you ... the country.
I am not saying the resistance is perfect and did not make mistakes. But, nobody else was able to resist and defeat the Israelis as in 2000 and bring back almost all prisoners as in 2004. It gained credibility and allowed you (and me) to get back our pride and be able eventually to sit with the Israelis and negotiate as equals. The resistance told them to finish with the Lebanese problem (Shebaa and prisoners) and take any excuse for the resistance to exist. They didn't want. It is a question of arrogance and revenge, they say their existence is at stake. yeah right! Lebanon was going to be destroyed if the soldiers would have been kidnapped or not. I can imagine taht many people don't care about Shebaa and the leb prisoners especially in the aftermath. But this is not the opinion of most lebanese, not even of the government. We asked for our rights and we said we will try to achieve them militarily. They couldn't take the blow they destroyed the country hoping also that some lebanese will burst there anger against the Hizb. Believe me we all in lebanon want peace, if not Hizballah would have fired roquettes on Israel long time ago. They never did, they played by the rule, Israel didn't. But, if we are united we will still win back our country. nchallah!
