32. BIG MISTAKES
Aonther layer is salling aims to Isrrailis. You will never win a war or gain a freind as long as these are your thinkers and publishers. Suppose you distroy Hiballah in this war, which will never ever happen, do you thik that Lebanease will love you after this distruction. Other hizballahs and Hamas will be continually created as long as you are thinking with this folish, upperhead language and days will prove this. " Look to others the same way you want the to do".

34. #12..here is a good reading
seems like you know about Islam from your own obervations, observations can be misleading. half knowledge is a dangerous thing. we have a saying in islam. 'Half imam makes you religionless, half doctor makes you dead'. I add this 'half knowledge can make you bigot.' If you are open minded enough and not xenophobic, here is a good reading, Islam 101 for you... http://www.sozler.org/risnur/words.htm
read these articles and then come back, we will talk more.
Think about this 1.5 billion today and billions in previous centuries never read Quran or seen that it is full of hatred and kept blindly their religion, huh? hard to believe. I know you will say, well it is force fed from the childhood. But one should realize that Muslim countries have problems like education, poverty, oppressive regimes and etc. These are more related to the society than religion. Every society and civilization had to tackle these before becoming important actors in the society.
Times change, someone up today goes down, whoever is down is actually on his way to up. it is like soccer, this year one team good, next another. I remember reading about Germany 60 years ago what they did to Jews, it is unbelivable, but it happened. However today Germany is a very democratic country. Jewish nation lived their most peaceful times (not counting the ones in the US today) in Spain under Muslim ruling.
One fact is that Europeans progressed as they distanced themselves from their religion while Muslims progressed as they followed their religion properly. Every verse in Quran starts with "In the name of God, the most merciful, the most compassionate" this is repeated 114 times. Here is, I see mercy not hatred. you read it, you will benefit...

35. speaking the language of the middle east
This is a good and correct article.
To live free and safe we need to speak the language of deterence and not to take into account in war moral considerations as it was during World war 2 when alies bombs germans and japonese towns. After and some years later people from lebanon and israel will be friends like germany and france now.

36. Rendez-vous in 60 years
Well guys I bet you all for this. In 60 years I'll be 93 years old and by than Israel will not be having peace. I was born in Beyrouth at 1974 and Israel was making war since 1949 to get peace and it will be doing the same for the upcoming 1000 years. My advice, Israel should keep making war because this will lead to its own destruction...

38. Sink Iran's tankers and attack their pipelines
Wars are won by taking the fight to the enemy, Iran cannot stop Israel from cutting off her petroexports. Start sinking tanker leaving Iran and blow up her pipelines and see what happens.
At $400 million for a large loaded tanker, Iran will collapse fast.
Always attack where the enemy is weak and always hit in a way that shocks the system.
Then have them return Ron Arad and pay for the damage to Lebanon and Israel.

41. Nasrallah's language About ISRAEL and the JEWS
Nasrallah announced on October 22 2002 - "if the Jews all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide." The New York Times qualifies this as "genocidal thinking"
1992 - "It is an open war until the elimination of Israel and until the death of the last Jew on earth."
"The Jews are a cancer which is liable to spread again at any moment."
"There is no solution to the conflict in this region except with the disappearance of Israel."
When Israel ended its 18-year occupation of Lebanon in 2000, Nasrallah declared, "We have liberated the south. Next we'll liberate Jerusalem."
Nasrallah statement in 1992, "It is an open war until the elimination of Israel and until the death of the last Jew on earth."
In 2002, Sheik Nasrallah was quoted by the Lebanon Daily Star as encouraging Jews to move to Israel. "If they all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide."

46. I dont understand
What kind of government is the Lebanese government ? I do not understand. The Lebanese government should protect its citizens and its infrastructures. Lebanon is under attack, and the Lebanese government is waiting. There is also a wide gap between the Arab governments and the Arab peoples. The Arab governments are just talking. The Arab peoples want to support Lebanon and say their governments are corrupt, taking orders from the U.S. and Israel. The outcome of the Israeli aggression will be that Iran will be the real winner of the current war in Lebanon.

48. Shia and Wahabbis Are NOT Peaceful
Muslim fundamentalists should understand that the West (yes, even France!) has no tolerance for the intolerance of Islam in its current embodiment (the Sufis are peaceful, but they're considered apostates). So regardless of what happens in Lebanon--a war which was waged in a questionable fashion--the West (plus India, South Korea, Japan, etc., i.e., most of the world's brain trust) is not going to give into your lunatic fundamentalist Islam. We will attempt to rehabilitate you, and if that fails, we will keep you at bay and incarcerated in your own hellish (poverty-stricken, repressive, backwards, uneducated and dangerous) lands. We understand the reality that you won't go away easily, even though we pray that you would, and we'll fight you ate every turn. And sooner or later, the "peacefulness" of Islam will result in an all-out, bloody, and internecine battle between the Messianic Shia crazies and the medieval, primitive Wahhabis. Then, peace will be possible.

49. Reply to Christa - 47.
There is no difference between state terrorism and any other terrorism. It's prime goal is to terrorise. But there is a vast difference with a country fighting to survive and religous nutters who are trying to kill it off. Perhaps you are too young to remember the French police rounding up the Jews in dawn raids so that they could be sent to the likes of Belsen etc. That's state terrorism. Further there is a UN obligation on any country to remove its civilians away from any war zone. The responsibility for not doing that rests solely with the Lebanese. The UN that Chirac always spouts for has laid it out quite plainly so I would have thought you being French and superior to the rest of us might have known this before you posted your sarcastic remark.

You are obviously not British by the tone of your posting otherwise you would remember our own fights against various political and religous cranks. I guess you are just another that Britain has let in so that you can have the freedom to say the things that those in the ME would be lifted for saying if the ball was on the other foot. However I defend your right to say what you want which is something those that you support will not allow if ever we were daft enough to let them gain control. The thing I object to is your distasteful comment.

The Lebanese army doens't have the means to confront efficiently the zionist firepower. This is nothing new and explains why the Lebanese people had to manage to organize their self-defense against zionist terrorism. You can see that neither the hezbollah or the lebanese army do own efficient anti-aircraft means.

I am a Christian and these are not my views, nor are they the views of any other than the Muslim world. I just watched a video of a Pakistani top dog announcing that we unbelievers have to convert or submit as second class citizens and if not face the sword. That is your Islam and you know that. It is the religion of a madman for madmen and the blood you have shed all over the world even as I write confirms this. Truth, you people don't know the meaning of the word but don't worry we unbelievers know that and accept that it is the way you live. Your big problem is that the Israelis also know it only too well.

Look at the casualties : the ratio is eight to one. I wonder which is the biggest terrorist. This is not a sarcastic remark. We French are not superior, we are not an elected people. Our sympathy goes to Lebanon in this sixth Arab-Israeli war. But we wonder what the hell is the Lebanese army doing : just waiting ?
