61. SheSURVIVED Islam'sJIHAD HORROR Against LEBANON'S CHRISTIANS
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (08.07.06)
Islam’s Torture of Lebanon By Jamie Glazov FrontPageMagazine.com | August 11, 2005FP: Frontpage Interview guest today is Brigitte Gabriel, a survivor of Islam's Jihad against Lebanese Christians. Gabriel: I was raised in the only Christian country in the Middle East, Lebanon. When Lebanon got its independence from France in the 40's the majority of the population was Christian. We were merchant, descendents of the Phoenicians...In no time Lebanon became the Paris of the Middle East... Gabriel: The Christians in Lebanon always had problems with the Moslems, but we never thought our neighbors would turn on us. That situation was aggravated by the influx of the Palestinians coming from Jordan after King Hussein kicked them out in Black September. That's what tipped the scale in Lebanon. Not only had Moslems become the majority but they now also felt empowered by the presence of the Palestinians and Yasser Arafat wanting to attack the Christians, take over Lebanon and use it as a base from which to attack Israel... When the Moslems and Palestinians declared Jihad on the Christians in 1975 we didn't even know what that word meant. We had taken them into our country, allowed them to study side by side with us, in our schools and universities. We gave them jobs, shared with them our way of life. We didn't realize the depth of their hatred to us as infidels. They looked at us as the enemy not as neighbors, friends, employers and colleagues... A lot of Muslims pored in from other Muslim countries like Iran... They came from Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Jordan and Egypt. The Lebanese civil war was not between the Lebanese, it was a holy war declared on the Christians by the Muslims of the Middle East... They started massacring the Christians, city after city. Horrific events the western media seldom reported. One of the most ghastly acts was the massacre in the Christian City of Damour where thousands of Christians were slaughtered like sheep...They would urinate and defecate on the altars of churches using the pages of the bible as toilet paper... The majority of the Lebanese army was Muslims. Christians went to universities, not to the military. The Muslims began taking over military bases across Lebanon. They combined their forces with the Palestinians and formed what they called the Arab Lebanese Army and started attacking the Christians... Gabriel: My town was 2 and half miles from the Israeli boarder. We in our Christian town were faced with the combined Muslim and Palestinian forces waiting to slaughter us. We knew our fate, knowing what they have done to other Christian towns and cities in the rest of Lebanon... Under the cover of darkness, few men from our town went to the border, flagged down an Israeli boarder patrol, explained the situation and begged for help... Israel agreed to help the Christians. Israel became our lifeline. The Israeli military would come during the night and bring food and ammunition to the military and milk for the children... The only reason we stayed alive is because Israel came into Lebanon and drove the Muslims away from the surrounding hills and set up positions in our town to protect us... Things got worse as Syrian, Libyans, Iranians Egyptians became enraged and flocked into Lebanon to fight the infidel Christians and Jews... The Muslims had one vision, to take control of the only Christian country in the Middle East and than attack Israel... http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=19016
62. READ THIS Part 1
Yisraeli   (08.07.06)
By Michael Béhé, in Beirut (English -- Translated from the French by Llewellyn Brown) The politicians, journalists and intellectuals of Lebanon have, of late, been experiencing the shock of their lives. They knew full well that Hezbollah had created an independent state in our country, a state including all the ministers and parallel institutions, duplicating those of Lebanon. What they did not know - and are discovering with this war, and what has petrified them with surprise and terror - is the extent of this phagocytosis. In fact, our country had become an extension of Iran, and our so-called political power also served as a political and military cover for the Islamists of Teheran. We suddenly discovered that Teheran had stocked more than 12,000 missiles, of all types and calibers, on our territory and that they had patiently, systematically, organized a suppletive force, with the help of the Syrians, that took over, day after day, all the rooms in the House of Lebanon. Just imagine it : we stock ground-to-ground missiles, Zilzals, on our territory and that the firing of such devices without our knowledge, has the power to spark a regional strategic conflict and, potentially, bring about the annihilation of Lebanon. We knew that Iran, by means of Hezbollah, was building a veritable Maginot line in the south but it was the pictures of Maroun el-Ras and Bint J'bail that revealed to us the magnitude of these constructions. This amplitude made us understand several things at once : that we were no longer masters of our destiny. That we do not possess the most basic means necessary to reverse the course of this state of things and that those who turned our country into an outpost of their islamic doctrine's combat against Israel did not have the slightest intention of willingly giving up their hold over us. The national salvation discussions that concerned the application of Resolution 1559 and which included most of the Lebanese political movements were simply for show. Iran and Syria had not invested billions of dollars on militarizing Lebanon in order to wage their war, simply to give in to the desire of the Lebanese and the international community for them to pack up their hardware and set it up back home. And then, the indecision, the cowardice, the division and the irresponsible behavior of our leaders are such that they had no effort to make to show their talent. No need to engage a wrestling match with the other political components of the Land of Cedars. The latter showed themselves - and continue to show themselves - to be inconsistent. Of course, our army, reshaped over the years by the Syrian occupier so it could no longer fulfill its role as protector of the nation, did not have the capacity to tackle the militamen of the Hezb [hezb-Allah : the party of Allah. Translator's note]. Our army whom it is more dangerous to call upon - because of the explosive equilibrium that constitutes each of its brigades - than to shut up behind locked doors in its barracks. A force that is still largely loyal to its former foreign masters, to the point of being uncontrollable ; to the point of having collaborated with the Iranians to put OUR coastal radar stations at the disposal of their missiles, that almost sunk an Israeli boat off the shores of Beirut. As for the non-Hezbollah elements in the government, they knew nothing of the existence of land-to-sea missiles on our territoryŠ That caused the totally justified destruction of all OUR radar stations by the Hebrews' army. And even then we are getting off lightly in these goings-on.
63. Really #1?
Rabbibluto ,   Moscow   (08.07.06)
Are you really from Japan. When you have bombs that can evaperate anything within a 100 meter radius and only 300 little bastards are dead that what Jews do for their enemies. Try it the other way round - NEVER!
64. war
george ,   chicago usa   (08.07.06)
israel should stop its useless war
65. weak leader
Nick ,   London, England   (08.07.06)
what a load of rubbish, are you sure he's not the real leader of Hezbollah? The more I hear this Siniora spouting, the less sympathy I have for the Labanese. He is responsible for supporting Hezbollah in the first place, go on cry you wimp! what sort of leader are you?
66. Israel should kill him amd Nasrallah
Alex ,   LA, USA   (08.07.06)
Is this guy telling us that he did not know that his Hizbullah has 10,000 rockets? If he knew then he should had gone to Arab meeting a month ago and told them, in tears, that he wants them to help him remove Hizbullah. Now Israel must remove him and Hizbullah.
67. Tears of a clown
Arie ,   Afula   (08.07.06)
Lebanon, and the rest of the arab league had six years to assist in disarming the terrorists, train the lebanese army and position them to protect what was their sovereign territory. THE aRabids REFUSED. Now they are facing the consequences of their own undoing! You either support an independent and sovereign lebanon, or you support terrorism-YOU CANNOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS! We will protect our citizens! Your own parliamentarians stated they approved of what hezbullh did to start the war but never expected israel to respond. You openly stated you commited an act of war abd that you figured we would cower and give in. Next time don't start a war if you are not willing to face the consequences.
68. RIP
Chrisona ,   Chicago.IL   (08.07.06)
So much for the so-called Cedar Revolution. It was nothing but a pipe dream.
69. Right audience. Wrong plea.
Steve G ,   Kew Gardens,NYC   (08.07.06)
If Siniora wanted to solve his problems, he came to the right place. Addressing the Syrian and Iranian reresentatives he should have demanded they rein in their junior partner Hezbollah. Turning to the Egyptians, Jordanians and Saudis and the other Sunnis, he must plea for help for the Lebanese Army to disarm the Shiite terrorists who occupy one third of his country's territory. Siniora's tears should be for the people in the Muslim world who are not rising to fight the extremists and terrorists in their midst.
70. Another Holocoast
Ali ,   Beirut, Lebanon   (08.07.06)
It has occured to me that what the jewish people suffered during the Hollocoast has turned " SOME OF THEM" into animals. Seniora don't cry, The Israeli's are not worth crying. We are not afraid of death, let everybody know this. We are the only religion who believe in Jesus, Mohammad and Moses all together. Israel's is the cancer of the middleeast and one day there will be a medicine to it, believe me.

Maybe they've decided that the kind of love and peace advocated by Islam are right after all.

Stop fooling arabs and muslems about your braves of terrorist hezbullah..you know they are applying persian ajenda, and that your narsllah is just an iranian puppet..in breif go to hell with your braves
74. #40
(08.07.06)
Your comment is irrelevant. The bridges must be destroyed in order to prevent the movement of hizbullah weapons. If they don't like it....next time they should not start a war.
75. A Sad Statement
GW ,   US   (08.07.06)
The gloating and hate represented by many of the talkback writers in this stream goes along way in explaining how unbridled hatred, insensitivity are at the root of wars. May Y**W*H show you more mercy in your time of need than you find in your hearts for the pain of your fellow human beings.
76. Siniora
edy burak ,   aventura , US   (08.07.06)

79. Revenge is best when it's served up warm
Talula ,   Israel   (08.07.06)
He is crying now. HE allowed his country to be renamed to Hezbulladom. He allowed the terrorists that own Hezbulladom to abduct our soldiers and kill 8 more. Did he think we would let it slide? He is crying now, not because of the bridges, not because of the infrastructural damage of his country or the large amount of civilian deaths, but because he has been made to look like a fool by Hezbullah and Syria and Iran. And, not wishing to kick him when he's down, but he is a fool, a stupid brainwashed old fool. Cry Mr. Siniora, cry, and while you are crying, cry for all the families in both Israel and Lebanon who have lost loved ones in a war that you should never have allowed. Cry because you are a weak feeble man who should never have been put in charge of Lebanon in the first place.
80. #35 He's not even a lady
Talula ,   Israel   (08.07.06)
The IDF have women on the front line and a woman pilot. Please don't insult us like that! He's simply a whimp.

82. Siniora lies, but revenge is appropriate
Larry ,   Eastbourne, UK   (08.07.06)
Siniora lies about the damage to Lebanon, there could be far greater destruction of infrastructure were Israel inclined to pursue the war with adequate ruthlessness. Lebanon is lucky that Israel is so absurdly moral. Lebanon deserves far worse than it has received. Lebanon deserves punishment for its crimes. Lebanon deserves Israel's full revenge.
83. Holocaust?
Hmm   (08.07.06)
What can I say, but: http://www.sandmonkey.org/2006/08/07/nazi-speak/
84. siniora
steven ,   france   (08.07.06)
Will somebody please shut this person up,,he is so obviously backed up Iran We can hear the Iranian peasants words running from his mouth...Surley he is not that stupid ,to think that people believe him when he says that Israel is acting out of revenge..he also said 2 weeks ago that Israel was jealous of Lebanons prosperity...PLEASE;some one give him a glass of Brandy, anything;;;;; just stop him from HIZBULLSHITING
85. Pull yourself together!
(08.07.06)
86. Indoctrinated to only see one side of the story
Lemar ,   uk   (08.07.06)
Unbelievable. It is uncontestable that Hizbullay started the war Not by kidnapping 2 soldiers as all the media point out but also killing 8 others. Nothing can induce any Muslim to be impartial. Any other country at this stage would be castigating a private army but not Muslims who would rather see themselves anialated than admit they started the war and it is up to then to cease fire first.
87. Accomplice of terrorism
Michel ,   Hamburg, Germany   (08.07.06)
...this man has good reasons to cry heavy tears. He is the bitch of Mahmud Ahmadinedschad, Baschar al-Assad and Hassan Nasrallah. He fucked up his own country and is responsable for this situation. Siniora, you are a accomplice of terrorism!
88. to # 1
royee assis ,   tel aviv, israel   (08.07.06)
it is very easy to sit in japan and tell us what to do. and to belive siniora is even more stupid. you see, when arab leaders tell you that there are 1000 people dead, it is a lie. 350 are hisbulla terorists, and the rest (about 200 people) are dead becuse they did not flee from the area when they were warned. you can say a lot of things but the IDF is the most human army in the world. we warned every city and every town before attacking it. it gave enoght time for civiliens to flee, but allso for hisballa to prepere ambush. and an other thing: the hisbulla told to the civilians that every one that will obay israel's warnning and flee, will be consider as a tratore and will be killed by hisbulla. hthe civilians that were killed in kanna where civilians that the hisbulla consider as trators becouse they fled. hisbulla put them in the building and killed them. hard to believe but this is a fact
89. I regret
a voice ,   the Czech Republic   (08.07.06)
"Lebanese PM: Israel motivated by revenge" I regret to say Mr.Siniora´s been mistaken. Israel only answers back against the attack of the Lebanese executive faction named Hezbollah. Who he attacks first he is the aggressor. Israel is very restrained in this case. No one can complain of. Only Lebanese government can complain of itself.
