1. Fighting Generals
Israels Generals should fight Hezbollah leaders like Hassan Nasrallah instead putting the blame on their comrades.

2. It seems General Adams hands are tied
It seems General Adams hands are tied by the political midgets Olmert, peretz and halutz...
And the blame of failure is placed on him. I am sure there will be a commission just like after the Yom Kipur and heads will be flying. I just hope the the responsible will be removed.

3. Udi, they don't know how to hide their mistakes
don't worry Udi
you are not the only one in mistake
Olmert and Peretz will pay too after this war
But tell me the truth
is it hard for your conscience to do a war when you know that the real reason of it is not what we tell to the soldiers?
and over all when the main target is missed
If i was you, i will go to the tv and say everything

Bad start maybe but each day passing , both side are getting better at what they are doing.

6. halutz appointed udi adam inthe first place
so halutz has to bear some responsibility.
but we will discuss that after the war when we have screwed the enemy.

7. MajGen Kaplinsky
I think it's a mistake to not clearly designate the GOC. MajGen Adam's talent will be needed, should Syria enter the war, but Kaplinsky seems to be the one who can best deal with Hez.
I think there's plenty of blame to go around, and, in my opinion, Kadima (and Halutz) deserve the vast majority of it.
What a bunch of political hacks! Can you imagine telegraphing your enemy that you're going to expand the ground war, but ONLY for 14 days? Not only that, but 3 ministers abstained!

8. Stop this ego war. This is not the time!
For goodnss sake what is wrong with you? We are fighting a war, our kids are being killed and injured, our towns are being bombed and all you can bicker about is the war of the generals.
After it is all over you arm-chair generals and field marshalls can have your say but this is the sort of thing that feeds the enemy!
Enough!

9. Dr Rice's Military Advice to Olmert
Condi's fighting abilities were developed at Stanford University as a Provost. I know that Palo Alto is a rough town but it hardly can prepare her to advise a military Illiterate like Olmert. IDF soldiers die because Israel's political leadership doesn't know how to fight a winning war. If Olmert loses will Hezbollah allow a do over?

10. Damascus and Tehran get off without even a warning?
War is by far the most urgent reason for restructuring command solely to enhance or to take a unified team approach where additional efforts by supplemental appointees realizes significant increases in overall performance. As the mission is expanded, additional appointments and deployments will occur. The short leash which the politicians feel they must exercise while playing the international press’s game of “follow the leader”. Public opinion is manipulated by an over zealous press. The Viet Nam war is used as an example by some to discredit the self-defense actions of the State of Israel. The television camera was able to bring a de-moralizing daily picture of the horrors of war. Could anything else have caused the entire war effort to succumb to a generalized malaise throughout the United States and its military? The most effective tactical maneuvers often are extremely violent with substantial enemy losses brought to bear by no mercy being granted to anyone caught in the way of the advancing soldiers. Paradoxically, the number of so-called “civilian casualties” would decline in proportion to the level of engagement initiated by the IDF commanders responsible for their soldiers. Distinguishing between civilian and fighter is another constraint placed upon the IDF. Without actually taking control of territory, there will be no clear victory. The thrust into South Beirut shouldn’t be dismissed. The enemy is cocky. He say’s he is winning the struggle to drive the people of Israel into the sea. He claims that he can contain the IDF with his fighters. Without jeopardizing other parts of the country’s defenses, Israeli politicians must allow the military to take the appropriate action to mitigate Israeli casualties and maximize the number of enemy combatants killed in action. Getting trapped in Lebanon is not the objective. This is why a sufficient force must be in place to hold the logistical lines while the bulk of the force moves rapidly to advance to control enemy territory by forcing the enemy to retreat from their defensive positions or be killed by the advancing force. Recognizance units must work seamlessly with artillery and air support to soften up enemy positions so that airborne paratroopers can destroy tunnels and ammunition caches while the sounds made by the steady pounding of artillery softening up the enemy ahead of the arrival of the spearhead of advancing infantry. Unless the IDF is able to secure the border between Syria and Lebanon, how will the flow of more arms destined to be used against Israel be curtailed? Since the Damascus and other airports are the waypoint from which these offensive weapons are transferred to trucks destined for use against Israeli Men, Women and Children, the aged, the infirmed, the poor workers suffering untold hardships as a direct result of the unrelenting assaults upon Israel by the aggressors. Behind the scenes in Damascus and Tehran they are claiming innocence when the truth is that the barbarism practiced by the Iranians through their mercenary army, the Hezbollah which the sponsor controls not just de facto, they control the enemy in every way shape and form primarily to facilitate the planned hegemony that the Supreme Islamic Cleric in Iran pursues by primarily launching short range rockets against Israeli civilians for the time being. Could you imagine what trouble really is should Iran make an atomic bomb? Let’s face it; the Americans need to put the Supreme warmonger’s on notice. Incidentally, there is only one Supreme; that being the Eternal, the Creator of the universe.

12. Halutz: push-button killer failed
Halutz is a tinker-toy soldier who got drunk on American war toys. For him killing is nothing but button pushing. Well, like Franks, he realized that Islamic shahids ready to die trump machines that kill. He caused Olmert to cower because Olmert never served and his sons refused to serve. But Olmert is very smart. So if he had followed his instincts he could have been a great PM; but be sold out to Bushit and will now be blamed while Halutz continues his mechanized bravura. Life is not fair!

13. Who is guilty?
1. Are Jews and Israel guilty? - In no way. When Jews were killed in gas
chambers (in WWII), there were no protests from the WORLD COMMUNITY. Now Israel Jews try to protect themselves from rockets, terrorists, kidnappings, - but the so called WORLD COMMUNITY is protesting (French PM even invented the definition "non-proportional response").
2. Is HEZBULLAH militia guilty? Sure, they are. The deployment of HEZBULLAH in the Southern Lebanon contradicts UN resolution 1559. HEZBULLAH is not manufacturing goods, but IRAN's money provide the existence and functioning of this terrorist organization. All military equipment, all the rockets prepared for killing the Israel civilians were manufactured, shipped and
delivered by IRAN & SYRIA.
3. Are IRAN and SYRIA guilty? No one can deny their involvement: weapons of HEZBULLAH, training of HEZBULLAH, financial support of HEZBULLAH, - these elements are absolutely evident: the source IRAN & SYRIA.
4. Is LEBANON guilty? Yes. HEZBULLAH acted from LEBANON territory. Hezbullah party members are sitting in LEBANON PARLIAMENT, in LEBANON
CABINET of Ministers. LEBANON cannot (or doesn't want to) separate itself from HEZBULLAH, - so, the LEBANON government and LEBANON-state is responsible for consequences of this war.
5. But what about killed and wounded Lebanese civilians? Are they guilty? - Sure, they are not, but it is impossible condemn Israel for their sufferings: it was a responsibility of the LEBANON not to allow deployment of HEZBALLAH military equipment among the civilians.
