come in all shapes and sizes - Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Sikh etc etc... It's all a matter of interpretation. More evolved versions of these religions exist. CHILDREN are literalists because of their inability to think in abstract terms but as we grow older and mature, we SHOULD be able to think more abstractly and metaphorically and get past childish literalist interpretations which just lead to war and conflict. The word "generation" can also be translated "age", "nation" or "people". It is wider in scope than the English word. What Jesus is saying is that the Jewish people will not disappear, and this is exactly what has happened. No other people has continued to exist for long once they lost their land. As for the fence, if there were no longer a perceived threat, it would soon come down.

There are prophecies that have been fulfilled and others that are waiting to happen, such as the rise of the anti-christ. Matt.24: 29-31 are refering to the tribulation and His return,which is another prophecy waiting to happen. It also seem that you have not read the entire bible. It is easy to get a new believer snared in false doctrine. What is the answer? Read and study the entire bible over and over and over. The bible is logos, which means the written word but it is also rhema which means the spoken word. How does the bible speak? It speaks by the Holy Spirit confiming the written word that will be in your spirit. Remember, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
