61. Nasrallah, accepting UN resolutions (!!!)
Casiopea   (08.12.06)
And why doesn’t he disarm himself and his thugs for starters?
62. Nashrallah, what a gall
Casiopea   (08.12.06)
It was him who started the war by attacking Israel and accuses Israel of attacking Lebanon. And he offers his “cooperation” to the Lebanese and UNIFIL troops to be deployed in the south. It is clear this terrorist wants to make Israel look like the aggressor and to have his terrorists deployed in the south so they can attack Israel from the very border.
63. Dangerous game. Is Nasrallah a legitimate partner?
Márcia ,   Brazil   (08.12.06)
Is Nasrallah a legitimate partner for any agreement? Oh, why am I even bothering to ask this? Terrorism has been legitimized by the international community of idiots for quite some time. This resolution is only a step further, after all. Siniora praises Hezbollah. Therefore, Siniora shouldn't complain about the Israeli attacks on Southern Lebanon, but who cares if nonsense is taking the stage in this war? Abbas endorses Hezbollah -- and the PA has been a "legitimate partner" since Arafat was welcomed by the UN in 1974. Terrorists are not POWs, but the U.S Supreme Court seems to think they are and ruled in their favor. What's next?
64. Choke on your lies Nasrallah
Israel Victorious ,   Perth, Australia   (08.12.06)
Time to revert to the Moses Plan Step #1 Find a leader like Joshua Step #2 Drive away the terrorists Step #3 If they are hostile, take their land Step #4 Enjoy the blessing Moses talks of at the end of Parashot Ekev "Every spot on which your foot treads shall be yours; your territory shall extend from the wilderness to the Lebanon and from the River - the Euphrates - to the Western Sea. No man shall stand up to you; Adonai Hashem will put the dread and the fear of you over the whole land in which you set foot, as He promised you." Instead we have the Frayer Plan Step #1 Find a leader like Olmert Step #2 Drive away decent Jews who want to rebuild the Temple Step #3 Whenever they kill us, give them some land Step #4 Live next to ungrateful Anti-Semite cowards who want to kill us My favourite verse from the prophecy of Isaiah in the weekly haftarot: "My Vindicator is at hand Who dares contend with me? Let us stand up together! Who would be my opponent? Let him approach me!" Israel will never be defeated! Soon fat Nasrallah will eat the dust, and choke on seventy two inches of virgin bunker rubble in Syria...
65. Nasi, your beard turned white! Cant U get dye from Israel??

66. You already declared victory. Now you're still fighting!?!
Luis Pinto ,   Caracas, Venezuela   (08.12.06)
If you won why are you loosing so badly? How many more weeks your ass is beat until you are wiped out in total? Nutty Naziralleah you are a total idiot! GO GO GO IDF !
67. AGAIN, you cannot have a ceasefire with a non-state.
Kevin Knight ,   London, England   (08.12.06)
I keep saying and saying that because Hizbullah is NOT a state but terrorists , it cannot engage in ANYTHING diplomatic (such as a ceasefire). Nevertheless, the U.N. treats Hizbullah as a state. Here's the truth in picture perfect form: http://www.republicanrantz.com/sitebuilder/images/ANNAN-NASRALLAH-600x431.jpg
68. 44John : word here is "soil "
Casiopea   (08.12.06)
That is exactly what he means, as hamas and the other Islamofascist do. I know it from what I have read about him. He also says that if all the Jews gather in Israel, the better for them who won't need to hunt them down worldwide.
69. to syrian #7
bassam ,   beirut-lebanon   (08.12.06)
Dear Rami, With all respects rami, and thanks for all your feelings and emotions. NASRON MIN ALLAH
70. almost forget
bassam ,   beirut-lebanon   (08.12.06)
hey rami, don't you think that if syria had declared in all official means that shibaa is lebanese, it would had spared much of lebanese blood don't you?
71. dear lebanese people
kippy ,   guess!   (08.12.06)
while i'm not going to get into this debate about who won or lost, let's look at the facts and decide for yourselves: (1) your country is in shambles. your economy, whatever little remains of it, is finished, your most busy and rewarding tourist season down the drain. israel's economy, on the other hand, continues to be strong, tourism continues, and the government will compensate businesses and employees in the north who were affected by the war. who will compensate you exactly for all the damage? hizballah? the UN? iran? lol! (2) hizballah lost its stronghold on the south part of lebanon. whatever hizballah had there before will now cease as a much more robust force will monitor the whole southern border with israel along with lebanese soldiers. (3) hizballah and lebanon took a much higher casualty rate than israel. even with all your terror rockets packed with bearings and nails and fired towards civilian areas in israel, you only managed to kill less than 1/10 of the casualties on your side. (4) you were spared by israel. you are extremely lucky that such an idiotic government is in power in israel. if it were someone else your country would have, in all likelihood, be wiped off the map. they could have bombed you much worse. israel took it easy on you this time, though rest assured that this will not happen again if you ever f*ck with us. (5) the UN security council resolution that your government accepted places the burden of this war on you, the lebanese and hizballah for starting this war: "[the security council expresses] its utmost concern at the continuing escalation of hostilities in Lebanon and in Israel since Hezbollah's attack on Israel on 12 July 2006, which has already caused hundreds of deaths and injuries on both sides ..." not only that, but by accepting this resolution you MUST return the two israeli soldiers that were kidnapped back UNCONDITIONALLY: "Emphasizing the need for an end of violence, but at the same time emphasizing the need to address urgently the causes that have given rise to the current crisis, including by the unconditional release of the abducted Israeli soldiers;" remember that UN security council resolutions are binding that if you don't comply, well, i guess you already know what will happen. and then once again you can send your prime minister to cry like a little girl to anyone who's willing to swallow your bullshit. so before you people come to all the israeli forums and websites and post your bullshit victory messages and heil nasrallah messages, ask yourselves was it really worth it. and if you thought beirut has it bad, just wait until the israeli troops pull out from all the little villages in the south of your country. right now these areas are closed military zones. i wonder what you will find once the israeli soldiers leave. these places have been totally decimated. enjoy your country!

74. Debriefing
Shai ,   Israel   (08.12.06)
The conflict isn't over by a long shot. With these terms it will go on until HIzbollah accepts Israel's terms for a ceasefire. And since they will never be able to explain how suddenly Israel's terms are acceptable without admitting defeat, they will allow the UN stamp of legitimacy on Israel's "military reaction" to provide cover for Hizbollah's military hide-tanning. So while I am bothered by Olmert's holding off 2+ weeks to send in a serious fighting force, maybe in the end we'll be allowed (why we need anybody's permission at all is a question we all direct to Olmert) enough time to trounce HIzbollah anyway. In fact, the more I read it over and over, I sense that the agreement was designed to permit a great deal of bluster and hand wringing about what's going on, but at the same time, it's designed to allow Israel to complete its job because NOBODY wants to send their armies in to rein in Hizbollah - rather, they want Israel to do so first, and THEN they'll come in to "save the day" and in the meantime, they'll focus on keeping "humanitarian corridors" open. That's probably why the Israeli forces tripled their size and entered on Friday. The whole thing is a UN ruse, and almost all the Sunni Arab countries and their so called allies are cooperating in it because THEY want Iran and Hizbollah defeated as much as we do, irrespective of what they say out in the open. Islamic fundamentalism is also a threat to their authoritarian rule. The UNSCR kicks in when Hizbollah ceases fire, which they said they won't, until Israel leaves Lebanon, even if Israel ceases fire. We already know that Hizbollah has broader definition of "Lebanon" than the UN accepts, and that Israel isn't under obligation to leave Lebanon until UNIFIL forces replaces hers, and that isn't scheduled to happen until the ceasefire has "taken". So the whole process is circular. The UN says it begins with a ceasefire, but Hizbollah says a cease fire won't begin until Israel leaves. Since Israel can respond according to this agreement to all Hizbollah actions, even those overseas, there will be continuous fighting until Hizbollah is defeated, so in essence the UNSCR is designed to deflate pressure on the UN to resolve this situation, to allow the UN to point at Hizbollah as the problem, all the while permitting Israel and her allies whittle away at Hizbollah and her Syrian and Iranian mentors until the "job is done" and another UN resolution comes out that makes more sense. There's only one hitch, but it's minor. What if Lebanon "agrees" that Hizbollah is part of its army? The answer is basically the same as it has been until now - Israel treated Lebanon as responsible for Hizbollah's actions, and Lebanon suffered for it. The results of this poor decision are there for all Lebanese to see. And, what if Iran and Syria seek to provoke a wider conflict when they see that they have lost influence in Lebanon by losing Hizbollah as a proxy? My guess is they will find a way to provoke a larger conflict. When that happens, all bets are off. We're talking about a full-scale regional war, probably including the US, who has also been backstabbed by Syria in its war with Iraq.
75. #19 are you talking about israel there?
(08.12.06)
" I'm still trying to figure out what he protected? Lebanese lives? No. Arab Israeli lives? No. Peoples homes? No. Lebanese infrastructure? No. Lebanese economy? No. " ------------------------------------------------------------- You MUSt be talking about Israel there! If not, then I guess the view from Houston is not that clear. Get closer, you'll see who's directly responsible for these destructions.
76. #32 you are hilarious!
(08.12.06)
Nasrallah will be assassinated? By his people (i.e. the civillians he "hides" amongst, according to your theory)? Have you taken a look at the interviews all channels are making with these people? May I ask what are you basing your assumptions on? Wake up my dear. First hear from those people. THEN give your opinion of how you think they will act !!!
77. #38 PLEASE Rollo
(08.12.06)
My dear. Do you know that you are only talking for yourself and not the Lebanese here? It was recently shown, by a poll conducted by Beirut Centre for Research and Information (an independent center): "While Hezbollah has traditionally drawn its supporters from Lebanon's Shiite Muslim community, the Beirut Centre poll found 80 per cent of Christians, 80 per cent of Druze and 89 per cent of Sunnis say they now support Hezbollah." HAHAHA... so you may be able to lie to some non Lebanese, but not to me and many MANY others :) Truth hurts OUCH !!!

Nuwanda that so called hero of yours is responsible for the death and destruction in Lebanon. That cowardly piece of filth has been hiding in Syria all of this time. Your beloved Lebanon is nothing but a place for him to kill Lebanese. He does not care about Lebanon or its people. Someday, if you live long enough, you will see.

87. #75 Genius
magrudis ,   Houston, TX   (08.12.06)
You must be some kind of genius. Try and follow along... #8 said that Nasrallah was the protector of Lebanon. I said "what did he protect?" The answer is nothing. Are you still with me? Read slow so you can understand. If Nasrallah and his band of Hizzagorillas hadn't picked a fight with Israel then none of this would have happened. The question the Lebanese should be asking is "why did he do it?" Only the Ayatollah in Iran knows for sure but my guess is to draw the world's attention away from their nuclear weapons program. Yes, Israel may have dropped the bombs, but you have Nasrallah and his terrorist thugs to thank for it.
