3. WHO NEEDS THIS WAR GOING ON,COME ANF FIGHT!!!
I'M SO SURPRISED OF THOSE PERSONS TRYING BLAME STOPPING WAR? THEY ARE SITTING AT THIER HOMES AND SAYING WE SHOULD WIN THIS IS THE FACT:SOUTH LEBANON IS BIG TOMB FOR ISRAEL AND AS NASRALA SAID "HIZBULA WILL GRAVE IDF TROOPS IN SOUTH LEBANON" WHO NEED TO DIE , SHOULD COME AND FIGHT IN NORTH...ENOUGH , IT IS TIME TO TRIAL OUR LEADERS WHO PUT US IN THIS MUD.
ERICA MENSHE ,   JAFFA,ISRAEL   (08.13.06)
4. BAQ BAQ BAQ BAQAAAAAQ BAQAAAAQ !!

5. Mr. Olmert your "good" resolution is Israel's death sentence
Mr. Olmert you have sentenced Israel to death. You have placed Israel's right to self defense in the hands of Kofi Annan. You have given the Lebanese government (with Hizbullah membership) the power to rearm Hizbullah. You have put the security of Israel in the hands of the UN, an organization that has always failed Israel in the past, and has done everything but call for her destruction. Your approval of this resolution leaves Hizbullah's long range rockets in range of northern Israel. Your poor leadership has shown the entire world that the current government of Israel is incapable of leading a military operation such as this, encouraging the jihadists to move forward with their plans to destroy Israel. Worst of all you have foresaken our kidnapped soldiers by approving a resolution that does not demand and guarantee operatively their immediate and unconditional return. You have not accomplished any of Israel's stated mission objectives. You have failed our soldiers and all of Am Yisrael. Now you would remove us from the West Bank and allow rockets to fall from the east as well as the north and south. For the sake of the survival of the Jewish state you and your Kadima ministers should resign now!
Raphael ,   USA   (08.13.06)
6. great, but!!
why did Olmert and Peretz send 30 thousands to south lebanon? knowing that they are get out in a week or so. to get as many of them killed or what? Saturday alone more them 30 soldiers were killed and who knows how many injured, for what reason Olmert is sending the Israeli army to die in lebanon?? this man has to go, before the next week-end if possible.

7. I do not belive in the u.n sondiers
I do not belive that the U.N. can deliver the type of buffer it is offering. BECASE the Lebonise army is too weak to with hold the cocroaches/rats and the U.N. Peace keepers will be useless HASBOLA will rearm and then what ? Like when Nasser told the U.N. to leave the borders of Sinai of they went and then Israel was at war again.

10. OLMERT LIES TO THE CABINET & THE PEOPLE
A ceasefire is called for that requires Hezbollah to cease all hostilities and Israel to cease offensive attacks. The Lebanese army is to send 15,000 troops into southern Lebanon; the Lebanese are to have full control of the area, so that there would be no weapons or troops permitted there except with the permission of the Lebanese. To assist the Lebanese army there will be a UN force -- under the auspices of UNIFIL, with an expanded mandate -- of a corresponding 15,000 troops. Israel will pull back to the international line (the Blue Line). There will be a ban on sale or supplying weapons to forces in Lebanon except with the permission of the Lebanese government. The Lebanese government IS Hizbollah! The UN are their human shields! The introductory paragraph refers to "efforts aimed at urgently settling the issue of the Lebanese prisoners detained in Israel." I'm sure these demands will be met by Israel. Israels request for the return of the soldiers won't be met, because no-one knows if they're still alive, and to date, neither Hizbollah, nor Syria have ever returned Israeli prisoners. Lebanon will be a Syrian/Hizbollah partnership with Iran giving the orders. Olmert & the cabinet know by approving resolution 1701, they've agreed to a more brutal and violent war sometime in the future - one which Israel cannot win under their leadership.

13. Israel Surrenders
Hizballah, a terrorist organization, kidnapped 2 IDF soldiers. Your government thought another military adventure in Lebanon is gonna be a walk-in-the-park. Apparently, the failure of 1982 was not enough of a lesson. Well, your government miscalculated... at the expense of 157 dead IDF soldiers, 24 of them fell yesterday alone. What did P.M. Olmert achieve? Even worse, according to Haaretz, P.M. Olmert said he now is ready to negotiate with Hizbollah (see "http://haaretz.com/hasen/spages/749923.html"). Here I quote: "Olmert said that Israel will negotiate with Hezbollah over the release Regev and Goldwasser, abducted on July 12." This indeed is a surrender.
Mustapha ,   Chicago, USA   (08.13.06)
14. A SHAME!
What will this leadership tell the mothers of our precious lost souls? That the incoming UN peace troops are our greatest gain? That the soldiers we fought to release are not coming home? That all this was fought in vain? That in the future our soldiers can expect to fight for a defeatest "leadership"? Shame on this weakest of governments and shame on the Israeli public for electing and backing them. A mindless bunch of simpletons who know how to show strength, muscle, and determination against their brothers in the settlements, but show no determination against our true enemies. Bring down this house of shame now and bring in some backbones!

22. Olmert Knows HIZBULLAH & LEBANESE GOVERNMENT ONE & THE SAME
The U.S. EU and UN are of course, fully aware of this fact. Terrorist Hizbullah is a member of Lebanon's government with seats in the cabinet. Lebanon's government colluded with Hizbullah in unprovoked, vicious acts of war against Israel. Lebanese army radars were used to lock in Israeli targets for Hizbullah missile crews. YNETNEWS (08.12.06, 16:52) Siniora accepts deal, praises Hizbullah ...steadfastness of resistance fighters in field was very important,' http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3290107,00.html Hizbullah attacked Israel with more than 3,000 rockets. Israel's third largest city Haifa, under regular rocket barrage. Over one million Jews forced to live in bomb shelters. Embedded in densely populated civilian areas Hizbullah despicably shoot from inside mosques, hospitals and schools in south Lebanon. Hizbullah ruthlessly uses human shields to protect rocket launching teams who set up rockets and other weapons in apartment blocks, schools and mosques. Images show Hizbullah using high-density residential areas to launch rockets: http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,,19955774-5007220,00.html Lebanon's government and Hizbullah, fighting a proxy war for Syria and Iran share responsibility for causing all of the deaths, injuries and damage wrought in Lebanon and Israel. In the global war to bring all nations under Islamic subjugation, Israel's fight for survival is a fight for freedom and human rights for all nations. The Innocent Bystander Myth Evelyn Gordon, THE JERUSALEM POST July 20, 2006 ...Far from being smuggled in without the government's knowledge, weapons earmarked for Hizbullah arrived openly in Beirut Airport almost every week - and the airport, unlike southern Lebanon, is fully controlled by the government and the Lebanese army. Yet the government never ordered the army to confiscate these shipments. Regular arms shipments also came overland from Syria. Yet these, too, passed openly and without hindrance through border crossings controlled by the Lebanese government. The Lebanese army has even openly assisted Hizbullah during the past week's fighting. Hizbullah's successful missile strike on an Israeli naval vessel Friday night, for instance, would have been impossible had the army's radar stations not given Hizbullah the ship's coordinates. Hizbullah does not have radar stations of its own. Far from repudiating Hizbullah's attacks on Israel, the Lebanese government has actively defended, facilitated and assisted them at every turn. There are thus no grounds for treating it as an innocent party in this conflict...

23. ISRAELI LEADERS DESPICABLE BETRAYAL of KIDNAPPED IDF
IDF soldiers fight and die for Israel. The lives of courageous IDF mean absolutely nothing to Israel's leaders who are cruel to Jews, but repeatedly show mercy to Israel's enemies. The resolution only refers to a return of the kidnapped soldiers in its preamble and not among the document's actual clauses. There is no mention of the kidnapped soldier in the south, Gilad Shalit." For the first time in the history of Israel, Israel's leaders surrender in war and treasonously support the UN Resolution which threatens Israel's survival.

26. Kadima/Labor/Shas Will Destroy Israel
There will be no Israel and 5 million dead Jews within the next 3 years if this defeatist Kadima/Labor/Shas government is not removed. By whatever means are necessary. They are suicidal idiots who put their power first.

Thank you Raphael, you have saved me a lot of typing. Your comments and observations are Spot On! I can only add that in view of the incompetence shown by Olmert & Co, it is time for Kadima to go ACHORA.

sad day   (08.13.06)
30. This is why we need generals as leaders
If I lived in Israel, I would ahve voted for Olmert. That shos my lack of perspective. Israel cannot afford to have a government with a journalist as PM and a labor leader as Defense Minister. They don't know how to fight a war. Lets just hope that when this "lasting treaty" falls apart, a real leader will be in place.
