It won't last. The leaders of IDF are and should hope that the radicals would honor the ceasefire, but sadely they won't. At least permanently. Yes, they may stop for some time but their track record for peace...well...it just doesn't exist. Arafat with the Oslo Accords showed a perfect example of how they operate. They were supposed to stop all aggression...they failed, they were suppossed respect all Holy Sites...they failed, they were suppossed remove and stop all teachings to their children about hatered and hostilities toward the people of Israel...they failed while Israel did ALL the points of Oslo Accords. i do not see any discussion of the immense lethality of the infantry missiles.these anti tank missiles may well mean that tanks would be used more sparingly in thebattlefield. without them the insurgents would have been more easily dealt with.

Israel begins the fight to free captured soldiers, to stop launch missiles, to destroy Hezbollah. None of these are achieved and the cease fire is a clear success for Hezbollah and his master Iran. Israel has lost any deterrence over the enemies and israel's survival is impossible without a clear defeat of Hezbollah.

Thank G-d that we have such enemies. Enemies who know how to, time and again, shoot themselves in the foot. The time frame from signing 'peace' deals and ceasefire deals with our Arab enemies until their abrogation has become shorter and shorter over the years until we have, thank G-d, reached the point where even the most obtuse leftist will wake up and realize they must do something about their own self survival. It is unfortunate, but the only way to extract ourselves from these conflicts is to TOTALLY annihilate our enemy when he raises his hand against us. When we don't have an enemy, then there will be no one to attack us simple arithmetic formula. This is the only way the Arab knows and respects.
