Nazis.
They are desperate and dangerous. They are a real threat to Israel cause they don't respect no law other than their own, which they claim is the law of God.

2. Can a government be humanistic?
After all that has been done to the people of Gush Katif etc. can it be said that the government is more than verbally sympathetic to the citizens of the country it supposedly serves? Is manipulative politics able to take into account all the potential psychological and physical suffering that a people must endure in order to obtain the approval of other nations? Are citizens merely robots in a democratic country, following blindly the dictates of its government? In short, does the government really care about the people who elect a premier and a legislature once every four years?.

6. Do not compare the IDF to Nazis
I find it very sad when a Jew can compare another Jew to a Nazi. How can you compare my father, his mother, sister, brothers, uncles, aunts, cousins being taken to Auschwitz by the Nazis to what happened to you. I am against the disengagement and am at every rally and will be there if chas vehalila they try and give the west bank back but to compare this to 6,000,000 being forcably removed and taken to a concentration camp is unforgiveable . I have a friend from Gush Katif staying with me at the moment as she is homeless but even she agreed she is homeless in Haaretz which is completely different. On another note I would like to know who decided to use the famous poster of the young boy with his hands in the air during the holocaust as an anti-disengagement poster. This I found extremely offensive. You should be ashamed of yourself. The word Nazi is bandered around enough around the world by Iran, Syria, Britain etc please don't lower yourself to that level

I do not know how the ALMIGHTY, BLESSED IS HE makes decisions.
Is Arial Sharon's stroke a punishment from our ALMIGHTY for forcibly uprooting & removing Jews from their homeland, our homeland the Gaza Strip in ISRAEL??
If the answer is yes, Olmart should really think twice before he uproots & removes Jewish from the West Bank, which is part of Israel, our home land, Israel.

10. I had never understood this war before war against own peopl
It was terrible, to seek this picture.
How can one state give up his own land, those are building since many years? It was a place-making to war!
And at future, at past, every time, when Israel lost own land or give up his land, than was coming war! It is written. Never would an enemy take some land, when he would take all land! And so are terrorists thinking: Israel gave us their land, we are won, we will win more land, all land of state Israel! It is written by thora and at all shofetim or nebiim, ketubim.

15. Poor Israelis, no one would listen to you, this is the US De
This is a tragedy, it would be eliminated if your PM were not that mush Creasy and avoid the WAR. The 5 Billion Dollars is more than enough to solve Israelis problems. But that is the case, US gives Israel money not to improve the live of poor people but for opposite, to fire wars and wars. Do you think that Palestinians or Lebanese are the only loser? You lose too, more wars, bad luck and more problems for you poor Israelis. Jews in Iran have better life than you.

16. People, you are crazy!
I don’t want to express my personal relation to the decision itself: whether it was right or wrong decision to pull out of Gaza. This is not an issue here.
At the beginning these people were motivated by state to move to Gaza and were treated as heroes, but at some point in time the state has changed its policy and pushed them out of their houses, destroyed their living environment and, for many of them all their life. It is just natural that people tried to fight this decision as anybody else would have done. The responsibility for their future is shared by state and their leadership. Both are doing the worst they could: Gaza evacuees are still treated as cards in somebody’s political game.
The confrontation is over a year ago. What’s done is already done. People, put your arms aside and behave as humans. Do all you can to help evacuees to build their new life!

17. Interesting
If it was the other way around between the Palestinians and Israelis, Israelis wouldn't be suicide bombers or at least bombers?
I have my doubts...

18. #16 (Jewish) People, you are crazy!
It's like Haim said people who are "pushed them out of their houses, destroyed their living environment and, for many of them all their life. It is just natural that people tried to fight this decision as anybody else would have done. The responsibility for their future is shared by state and their leadership."
This statement can NOW be viewed by BOTH Palestinians and Jewish Israelis.
Those enjoyed doing the kicking and getting paid for it.....are now being kicked themselves and are crying about it. They now know how it feels to loose everything.
This sure sounds like something a Palestinian would have said. But it a jewish "Evacuee: I should have blown myself up in Gush Katif" Israel should watch out....it has a new enemy....traitors in it's mist!!! AND IT'S NOT THE ARABS!!!
Is this self destruction?
Heros are now seen as the enemy of the state. It's a fine line between love and hate. Sorry you can't have your cake and eat it to....it will get thrown back in your face!!! :D
The lesson in this....Do not live on stolen land!!!!!

19. To #6 Hannah
Read the article again please. They are not comparing IDF to Nazis but they are suffering from very real trauma brought about by the actions of the IDF and this evil government. These are real feelings and not just rhetoric. The IDF appeared to them to be Nazis. Black uniform. Parading up and down to traumatise them into giving up. Taking them out of their homes, rounding them up, loading them onto crowded busses and not allowing them off to go to the toilet. Separating family members etc etc. You can find the comparison distasteful but you cannot dismiss real trauma brought about by immoral acts.

21. Lazy settlers
These stupid individuals are greedy, dysfunctional, violent and lazy.
Most have never worked and are virtually unemployable because of their mental immaturity.
Prison or a mental institution is where they belong.
|
|
22. Aside from the inhumanity that was caused to the settlers
Aside from the inhumanity that was caused to the settlers what have we gained. Hamas got in power,Kasams on Ashkelon Launched from Gush Katif, Phildelphi security given to egypt whish became a smugling route for all the weapons to Hamas, Hizbala rocketing the entire north were a million people had to leave more than 150 dead and countless casualties and damage to individuals in the heavy millions. Now that we made a temporary cease fire Hiballah will regroup and probably within a year they will launch more sophisticated weapons and then Hamas will join them from the South.
Face it we can rely only on our father in heaven it's time for reflection and repentence to almighty and our fellow man.
Here are comments from Leaders of Israel before the expulsion.
If we cut and run, Gaza will be taken over by terror organizations... Gaza's squares shall be transformed into launching platforms of Katyushas toward Ashkelon ... The only way to defeat terrorism is by controlling its bases.
Likud MK Ariel Sharon
Maariv, June 12, 1992
"Every time there is a wave of terrorism, all sorts of 'experts' say that we should unilaterally get out of Gaza. If we do so, the Gaza Strip will become a cancerous thorn of terrorism, 1,000 times more dangerous than it is now. What will we do when katyushas are fired from Biet Yachie on Ashkelon and from Biet Hanoun on Sderot?"
Tourism Minister and Moledet Leader MK Rehavam Ze'evi
Knesset Minutes, March 1993
You have to tell the citizens of Israel how you plan to prevent terrorist attacks from the Gaza Strip. How will you prevent Katyusha attacks on Ashkelon?"
Likud MK Moshe Katsav
Jerusalem Post, May 24, 1994
We must take into account that after withdrawal, Ashkelon, a major Israeli city, will be within the effective range of Kassam rockets. In the future, when sea and airports are built in Gaza and we will have no control, they will have Katyushas with a longer range that can also reach Kiryat Gat or southern Ashdod.
Major General (Res.) Yakov Amidror
Maariv, Feb. 5, 2004
If the Disengagement plan is carried out, Kassam rocket attacks will be the lot of cities from Ashkelon to Ofakim [also inside Israel], and will become a daily occurrence.
Yisrael Beiteinu Head, MK Avigdor Lieberman
July 5, 2004
Now this is Ariel Sharons comments once he got to politics
The purpose of the Disengagement Plan is to reduce terror as much as possible, and grant Israeli citizens the maximum level of security...These steps will increase security for the residents of Israel and relieve the pressure on the IDF and security forces in fulfilling the difficult tasks they are faced with. The Disengagement Plan is meant to grant maximum security and minimize friction between Israelis and Palestinians.
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon
Herzliya Conference
December 18, 2003
He should have never turned to politics. What a disaster

One would expect that the religious/Zionist values that motivated the settlements in Gaza should have been strong enough to help them get through the trauma of the evacuation.
So...not only has the government, the IDF, Israel mainstream society, failed them...so too their ideology and faith?

25. to #18 This is exactly the point.
When fight is over I call for been human. If now sombody of Gaza evacuees will perform terro attac I will condemn it!
As long as they have accepted the result they are just suffering people that should be treated humanly.
Exactly the same for PL. As long as you fight and fight useing terror attacts - all necessary should be done to defeat you. Stop using violence as political tool and you should get all necessary help to rebuild your life.
This exactly the point. It doesn't mater who is right and who is wrong in the conflict. Human values should prevail and terrorism as the way of achieving political goals should be condemned and opposed with all possible means.

26. Rewarding Murder: The GLOBAL VILLAGE RAISED these TERRORISTS
10,000 Jews in Gaza and north Samaria were viciously
rendered jobless and homeless for enemies sworn to
Israel's destruction.
Muslims celebrated their great victory by
desecrating and destroying sacred Gaza synagogues.
Impoverished Jewish refugees are financially obligated to pay mortgages
on their destroyed homes.
Exchanging Jewish land for war, Global Islamic Terror State One was
installed in Gaza with an Al Qaeda and Hizbullah presence. Iranian
Revolutionary Guard units train Fatah and Hamas in the Jew-cleansed
areas of Gaza.
In the land for war, Jew-cleansed areas of global terrorist paradise Gaza,
Islamists fire a
daily,
incessant barrage of rockets on the defenseless Jews
of Sderot and Ashkelon.
IT TOOK THE GLOBAL VILLAGE TO RAISE THESE TERRORISTS.
The Palestinian
Authority/PLO
terrorist organization's
bank accounts and war chests are filled with billions
of American and
European tax dollars. The PA/PLO were
never
expected to create farms and businesses with their
finances,
long hours, and hard work. All of this was to be done
for them by the Jewish
victims of their terrorism.
The wealthy PLO/Palestinian
Authority terrorist organization were given wonderful
gifts of Jewish land, thousands of high-tech greenhouses,
and
hundreds of farms of the Jews the terrorists attacked
and murdered. In psychological terms, it is known as
positive reinforcement - rewarding behavior that is
considered desirable.
Murders, pogroms, genocides. Deportations. The
stealing of Jewish land and assets is the way Jews
have always been treated.
Aiding and
abetting Islamic terrorism, instead of
opposing it, Israel's leaders will go to war, Amona style,
against the hated
Jews
of Judea
and Samaria in a ruthless ethnic Jew
cleansing on behalf of PA/PLO, Hamas, Islamic Jihad,
Hizbullah, Al-Qaida terrorists,
who will be gifted
Jewish land and assets in an immoral surrender to
global jihadists - advancing the
openly stated
Islamo-Fascist goal of Jewish annihilation
and global
Islamic conquest.
Amona - February 1, 2006 - Israel's police
went to war against Jewish innocents instead of
going to war against Muslim terrorists.

27. #1 You and people like you have caused this.
You did it to your own countrymen/women; don't blame the victim. Your callousness is truly revolting. I bet you are secular and consider yourself decent, modern and humane, yet decent and humane person would never feel, let alone express views like yours.
If those refugees from Gaza are desperate, you have made them so; and if they became dangerous to you, you have earned it.
At least have a decency to help them and ask their forgiveness for what you have done to them and their lives.

28. #13, What is israel Proper?
You are plain stupid in your meanness. If a year has passed, how come you haven't yet provided jobs, business opportunities and new homes for those people? No wonder they are already loosing their patience. BTW, who should pay for rebuilding the North? Who should fight for it? I hope you don't expect them to contribute when those from Tel Aviv apparently don't want to fight for your "Israel Proper."
|
|
29. Create jobs - if only volunteer positions
Idleness is the breeding ground of despair. If the evacuees cannot find paid jobs (not easy for someone over fifty with no experience except farming) then let someone - not even the government, but a religious group - organize a community-service volunteer program.
Let the unemployed do volunteer work -even if it's unskilled - to benefit the community, and give them recognition for it. There is an untapped well of human energy going to waste. Especially now, when the country needs to rebuild, we should allow evacuees to make a contribution and regain their pride and self-respect, not just be shunted aside as no longer useful.
