Lebanon is not destroyed. That is false propaganda and you know it even better than we do - It was a media festival orchastrated by Hizbollah, but the matter of fact is that 99% of the targets destroyed WERE, in fact, related to Hizbollah (and in most cases where civilians were killed - it was due to the use of them as human shields). Beirut is thriving - anybody who bothers to check this knows its true (only the 2 Hizbollah suburbs were bombed and their HQ downtown). The airport is running, and the refugees are coming back to their homes who are still there untoucheD (unless they had a missile stash under them, but then you can hardly blame Israel for nocking those out). The number of dead is ridiculous too - Not collaborated in any meaningful way, and every person counted as "civilian dead" when its obvious that many of those are hizbollah people (who were no uniform and hide between civilians). Blame your peoples cowardice for the damage that has been done - had you been able to take care of your own country, Israel would not have needed to do it for you.

I think we are becoming more fed up here in America. Even with 9/11 and attempts at blowing up airlines since than, we just do not live as close as you do to the threat. I think that slowly the American mentality is changing though. We realize it is not a passing thing. Even if we were not fighting a war in Iraq, extremists would use an excuse to try and stop our way of life. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last. Maybe it's the first time it's gotten coverage in Israel? It happened in Iraq a couple of years ago. It must also be said that just because photos were manipulated doesn't mean nobody suffered. That's naive.

I wonder how only this photo attracted your attention while there are thousands and may be more of photos which show the brutality and ruthlessness of the attacks where thousands of civilains were killed and injured and houses and other civilain premises destroyed. When photos are faked ( altered or staged ) to elicit greater sympathy it clearly proves that those lying are wrong. the truth isn't proved by lying. I've read on these message boards that people don't believe there are fake photos, even after the news agencies apologized and removed them, even after the photographer admitted faking them. How do debate with someone who does not accept the truth. When people alter photos, stage photos ( i.e. carrying dead babies around and placing them in different blast sites, people laying down at blast scenes to appear dead, putting mickey mouse toys on top of rubble to give the impression children were present when they were not ), inflating kill numbers. I know that when telling the TRUTH you don't have to 1) fake photos to create greater sympathy 2) inflate - lie - about how many people are killed, to create greater sympathy 3) to stage photos like a hollywood movie of people acting dead or upset, to create greater sympathy.
