Are you that stupid...What is happening in Iraq? Who is killing Muslims there?...ummm...wait....I think I know....Oh, it's other muslims!!! Who bombed innocent people in Bali? Who bombed the world trade center? Who murders innocent women and children in honor killings? Who teaches their kids to want to die for Allah and kill as monay nonn- beleivers in the process??? Ansewr these questions please and then we'll talk about your beautiful culture. And by the way, my disgusting country runs your puny little world. Everything you do is connected to the US, all the technology, medicine you put in your mouth, everything revolves around our disgusting country...don't forget that!!!
63. Hizballah in the Golan?
Flavio ,   Sao Paulo, Brazil   (08.17.06)
Are they going to be dropped by parachutes? It seems that Assad Jr needs to be told about how Golani troopers stopped 30 miles short of Damascus in 1973, and only because they were told to do it!
64. Way to go, Gal ## 15 and 57! Kol Hakavod, you´ve really...

SYRIA AND RAN ARE THE SOURCE OF OUR PROBLEM.
66. Can we plz have a pre-emptive strike?
RA   (08.17.06)
Or does the idiot Olmert still think the Arabs would not attack Israel. This is a declaration of war by Syria. Israel needs to go to UN. Explain itself. Then demolish demascus to the ground.
67. Olmert and Peretz
Oleg ,   Milwaukee, USA   (08.17.06)
Are you happy now? When will you be indicted for what you have done? You are worst enemies of Israel.
68. #18 & #52 -- Boy your stupid
Ryan ,   Calgary, Canada   (08.17.06)
Israel didn't lose, why is there blockade still in effect, if Hizbullah is so great and strong, tell them to remove it, the only thing that got accomplished was a lot of innocent lebanese got killed, and there infrastructure destroyed, great victory indeed, Did you think that Israel was friends with there neighbours before this, where have you been? I think they are playing possum, now Syria is embolden, they are getting there own Shitbollah group, next time, they will join too, and Lebanon and Syria will enjoy the FULL might of Israel. It's the oldest ploy in the world, but I guess stone aged people, can't perceive such a complex plan. Watch.
69. I personally would go and woop Bashar's Ass!!!

MJP, M.D. ,   PA, USA   (08.17.06)
Well stated, Gal, and thoroughly accurate. I also feel that Israel was let down by the U.S. this time around, no doubt. Many of us here in the US are extremely unhappy about it. The cease fire arrangement is already a joke as we knew it would be.
71. Trade Peretz and Ohlmert for Kidnapped soldiers
gab ,   PAX   (08.17.06)
Yeah great watch CNN and BBC do a coverage how Israel is supressing the new Syrian resistance group and they have every right to fight to get their villages and be re-united with their families in Golan Heights. What #$%^ if they seriously do this Israel has to have ZERO tolernace and bring down Syria. Every Guerilla attack = 10 attacks on Damascus. Peretz will negoitate with them and give them more m16's and maybe missles they need to attack israel with. Peretz and Olmert should be traded for the kidnapped solideris

Yes, the US let Israel down big time. Nice Israel made some mistakes so to divert attention to the real issues. In the mean time Syria and Iran and the Arab street along with those who hate Israel so terribly are all laughing. Well, we are only human here. We are so few in number compared to the rest of the world. Life is tough and we have few friends which makes it all the more difficult. Please contact the whitehouse and any groups you are affiliated with to lodge complaints. That in and of itself we would greatly appreciate. I think my last paragraph in #50 says it all.

76. No Sense in the World
Ric ,   USA   (08.17.06)
I am amazed to see how the UN has no backbone. In every instance of UN involvement, they negotiate, come up with a resolution of some type, and provides nothing to enforce it. If one member of the security council disagrees, then the resolution gets watered down until it means nothing, except maybe the value of the paper it may have been written. The Arab world seems to see that someone seeking peace and protetcting there lands (stopping the rockets into Isreal for example) , is considered a loser. They completely ignoring the very fact that the same folks claiming to be the winners, hid with civilians (as human shields), which means to battle it out, of course there would be civilian casulties. They ignoring the fact that IDF sent out flyers indicating future actions (giving the option to leave or remove the weapons from their land), while the only thing Hizbullah did was radio to Israelies Arabs of future attacks (making no such concerns to the non-Arab Israelies). And now, the Hizbullah will gain more support by rebuilding the very buildings that they caused to be destroyed. I think Hizbullah should turn over it's arms to the Lebonese Army and let them do their duty. They can continue doing peaceful and humanitarian things (killing people sure isn't humanitarian). If they have a problem with turning over their arms, join the official Army. If the have a problem with what the Lebonese government is doing, become part of the government and change the direction it is going.

The Syrians couldnt fight their way ou of a paper bag using a pair of extra sharp scissors. In any case, thyre stupid for admitting it because OBVIOUSLY their govt is gonna be held responsible. And we know what that means. More screaming overweight muslim women crying for the cameras. Haha.

The Bush adm. has screwed you. Wake up and smell the dung pile Olmert and Halutz dumped on you. Your army has failed to stop the rain of katyushas, your captured soldiers are safe in Iran. The region sees that you are impotent. You have failed. Never mind the facts, the idiots in this forum are rabid zionists. It is your time to reject the old ways, join the civilized community embrace cultural exchange and mutual respect . The alternative is doom(yours).
83. #73
Desert Storm Vet ,   SA, TX. USA   (08.17.06)
Your country is getting a very raw deal r/t this farce of a Cease Fire and trusting the UN to enforce this? They couldn't force Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah. I suspect this same scenario will be replayed again with Hezbollah and their supporters.
84. Hezbullah Will Grow and Grow .....
World Citizen ,   the world   (08.18.06)
because Israel cannot learn from its mistakes. I have almost come to the conclusion that the current state of Israel will be destroyed because of its own intransigence and bellicose nature. When the Palestinians in Jordon start their own Hezbullah, Syria starts their version, and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt adopts the military and sociological methodology of Hezullah then we will see a guerrilla war conducted on all of borders of Israel. And can you imagine what would happen if the US or Israel were to attack Iran with conventional (much less nuclear weapons)? It will interesting to watch this play out.
85. Thank you Desert Storm. Waiting for
Gal ,   כרמיאל   (08.18.06)
more to speak out! Silence kills just like bombs and rockets.
86. Answer to rolf
Laura   (08.18.06)
rolf, Israelis don't need to be "educated" by the likes of a typical, cowardly, pathetic euro-appeaser. Of course you would like Israel to surrender to the muslims so that you europeans will look less weak and emasculated by claiming that even the Israel couldn't beat them. But the only reason hezbollah wasn't crushed was due to international intervention to save them just as Israel was about to launch a major ground offensive. Of course the Israelis were foolish to agree to the resolution. BTW, Israel IS part of the civilized community, but its enemies are uncivilized barbarians. Your post is yet another example of european moral inversion, which obscenly portrays Israel as the uncivilized, barbaric aggressor and its terrorist, genocidal enemies as the enobled , peaceful victims. How sick and twisted a view that is!
87. 2 EUs RUSTOM #40 & HIS LOW LIFE GERMAN TWIN #82
YDB   (08.18.06)
HEY LONDON and GERMANY Look upon yourselves with increasing numbers of HOMEGROWN TERROREST one should look for a hole too hide. I suppose you can blame that on Israel or the Jews. Oh, and how about Hitler who held anyone that appears less in his eyes should be killed. We will be watching behind metal gates when your Home grown terrorist blow up your families and you Germans will once again take off your masks and act like the animals you really are.
88. #11 agree but don't get the reference.
R ,   USA   (08.18.06)
While I agree with the point that Syria's attempt to copy Hezbollah won't work because of the reasons you describe, I'll point out that the VC were almost completely destroyed as a result of the Tet offensive because they tried to fight a convential war against the US. After Tet the conflict was almost entirely between the NVA and the US military, a conventional war that the NVA came out on the losing end of. Its ironic that popular sentiment forced a US withdraw after the US had effectively destroyed their enemy's army, handing them the victory that they couldn't acheive militarily. Ho Chi Minh was right: the war wasn't won on the battlefield, it was won on the streets of Washington.
89. #82 Civilized community?
R   (08.18.06)
You mean the ones that lynch people in their "territory" for being Jewish? Maybe Israel should stop protecting the rights of the 1 million+ muslims that are Israeli citizens, that can vote, have healthcare, rights and political representation under a Democracy. That would be civilized. I'm sure the "civilized" world that surrounds Israel on 3 sides yearns for peace. You should know from your own history what happens when you throw a vicious dog a scrap of meat, it only comes back for more. Its unfortunate to see that many countries have become so pacifistic from basking in the shade of their Allies army that protected their country for 50 years from the horde on their borders that they have effectively disbanded their own armies. I guess we could give peace a chance, but only if the other side agrees and stops vowing to destroy us. I often wonder what would've happened if the US felt the same way in 1947 and simply went home and let your defensless continent "negotiate" with the Soviets. Its no wonder that Poland was one of the only European countries that assisted the US in Iraq, I guess they learned the hard way from your ancestors that in order to secure peace, you must be prepared for war.
90. #82 threatening language
Rustum ,   London, UK   (08.18.06)
How dare you threaten me, you crud. You should also note that my "low life German twin" is actually an American citizen. If only you would care to read what he wrote rather than knee jerk yourself into a neo nazi fervour.
