Hello! There were more refugees who were absorbed by Israel than there were Arabs who fled in 1948. They also lived in Refugee camps but were absorbed for better or worse by Isarel. The palestinian refugees were never absorbed by their arab brethren but left to rot in camps which are still here today. No wonder you have grievances. Also when Moshe dayan in the 70's wanted to build houses for the refugees they refused because that would lose them their refugee status and aid from unwra. Now instead of builing bombs and kassam rockets you had a chance to build a life. The palestinians in gaza are hungry for bread but this is NOT israels fault. I really did not know, that Canadians are so ignorant. Here in Finland we have exellent freedom of speech and political rigths. Muslims, arabs and friens of Israel can freely have peacefull protest marches. Our FM can have his own (political)opinions and we respect him, because he is legally elected. But we citizens have our own viewes. We have fougth for these values (1323-) before America was found. Many Finns have great sympathy with Israel, because we have fougt agaist huge and powerfull enemy - Russia / Sovjet Union. Also my both parents lost their homes and farms in WW II at Carelia.
