Here is the rub in this whole lie and it lies within Syria, the supposed trump card to bring peace to the ME. The west is not only delusional on fighting terror but even more delusional on the continuation of using Israel to bring some kind of magic to the ME. Newsflash: the magic is ridding terror completely from those countries who harbor terror! Then the west can come to the aid of those people. Then there will be peace. Until our leaders in the West take out the terror harboring leaders and their followers there will never be peace. Never. Bush says: Hezbollah is bad. Lebanese want Freedom. Israel has the right to self defense yet they must always exercise restraint and caution. Mr. Bush. Hezbollah is bad and it is up to the Lebanese to rid themselves of Hezbollah. Rebuilding a terror state is not the path to peace. This is why the overall war on terror can never be won. We must stop propping up terror harboring regimes simply because they lack the will. The will must come from them, not us. And for the love of G-d the world must untie the hands of Israel and let them wage their legitimate war on terror. There is no peace not because of Israel but because those who reside in the ME want the total destruction of Israel. By Israel sacrificing without the total legitimate sacrifice of her neighbors, there will never be a moment of peace. NEVER!! All the American, British and other forces should leave Iraq - leave the shia's and sunnis to kill each other in a civil war. Then they should come to the aid of Israel - disarm Hezbollah, sort out Syria and Iran.....only then can any sort of peace be possible. The UN will do nothing, the French are nothing more than a joke. The west needs to understand that we need to show strength, not weakness. Our morals and our horror at killing innocent civilians must be put on the back burner and we must show the enemy that we are prepared to do what they are not.
