i am not a military defense system expert, but i do agree with you 100% the nautilus is impractical, costs too much and is heavy to transport. however, as you suggested, there are many such thechnologies used by the us that can be modified to address the long and short range missile threat. it can be done much faster than the 4 years the israeli military predicts will be needed for the new systems they are working on with the help of the usa military. israel must work in improving whatever technology they already have to address missiles threat. they don't need to start from scratch here. unfortunately israel doesn't have the luxury of time and unlimited funds at its disposal considering how hard and fast the iranian government wants to implement its destruction.
