Actually if you include our supplies in the northern arctic that are yet untapped, and offsea deposits, there is more oil in Canada then any other country in the world, including the whole of the ME so technically oil is not an issue for ourselves or our american and israeli friends. This was proven with seismic surveys, and underwater drilling tests. Infrastructure needs to be installed to harvest these deposits. Iran will be at war against the US, Israel, and backed by European forces, under the name of Nato or the UN, before 2010 rolls around, and i'd bet that an emergency legislative meeting will speed up the delivery process of these subs.
