Nasarallah and his cohorts have nothing but pain and suffering in their plans for their own people. Then again, why should they ? Afterall, all they have to do is to provoke a senseless war, run away and hide during the ensuing fighting, and then bribe the sufering Lebanese with some oil money from Iran. That is the level of depravity to which an entire people have allowed them selves to sink.

this interview was clearly directed to the lebanese audience. still i'm semi-surprised that he was soft-spoken. still, i don't trust him. i think this shows the deep rifts between HA and the rest of lebanon. actually i think they are deeper than many thought they would be. i wonder how this pronouncement will be seen on the arab street outside lebanon. or , in the western media, for that matter. would they still consider HA a winner ??? having said all of this, israel is as complicit as HA in this destruction of lebanon. slowly facts are coming out how innocent christian, sunni and druze civilians were also killed in the south and the bekaa. this fact will derail the notion that southern lebanese are mostly shiite. it has also planted seeds of further strife between HA and all sects of the civilian population in southern lebanon. no wonder nasrallah is trying to be contrite. but don't think this lets israel off the hook. if only israel uses its brain over its brawn, especially in lebanon, maybe things would be different.
