1. Cover up the mess... Shame on the IDF
Majd ,   LEBANON   (08.28.06)
OK, its clear the IDF is struggling, its obvious that the reputation is ruined and its trivial that the moral is at the lowest point ever. But doing that is clearly a low attempt to cover and boost the troops. What anyone should excpect from the IDF, including me a Lebanese, to say ok, we f***d up, we were bad and we sucked big time but we will work to improve that and see what went wrong, not some cheap attempt that only will insult every body's intelligence, including those of the people in Israel. I mean which army would do that ? how sad is sad ???? man....
2. Our heroes
Meggie A ,   Israel   (08.28.06)
for me all our IDF boys who put on the uniform are heroes, whether combat or ordinance, they all need each other and G-d bless them all. For moral it is nice to see the brave acts of those that were able to perform at the time, but please do not forget those that are called "jobniks", combat units wouldn't function without these guys. My condolences to all the beraved familes and a speedy recovery to our wounded and pray for the return home of our three soldiers .
3. TREACHEROUS UN Broadcast Israeli WAR Troop Movements
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (08.28.06)
Friends, supporters and allies of Islamic terrorists, the UN betray Israel and the free world. The UN are a threat to every innocent on earth. Declare the anti-Jew anti-humanity UN resolution null and void. No UN "peace keepers" for terrorists! Israel MUST survive! www.theweeklystandard.com What did you do in the war, UNIFIL? You broadcast Israeli troop movements. by Lori Lowenthal Marcus 09/04/2006, DURING THE RECENT month-long war between Hezbollah and Israel, U.N. "peacekeeping" forces made a startling contribution: They openly published daily real-time intelligence, of obvious usefulness to Hezbollah, on the location, equipment, and force structure of Israeli troops in Lebanon. UNIFIL--the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, a nearly 2,000-man blue-helmet contingent that has been present on the Lebanon-Israel border since 1978--is officially neutral. Yet, throughout the recent war, it posted on its website for all to see precise information about the movements of Israeli Defense Forces soldiers and the nature of their weaponry and materiel, even specifying the placement of IDF safety structures within hours of their construction. New information was sometimes only 30 minutes old when it was posted, and never more than 24 hours old... Meanwhile, UNIFIL posted not a single item of specific intelligence regarding Hezbollah forces... http://www.theweeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/012/622bqwjn.asp
4. UN RESOLUTIONof DECEIT &JEW-HATE THREATENS ISRAEL'S SURVIVAL
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (08.28.06)
Extreme HATE: Responsibility for compliance of the resolution is given to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, infamous for his fanatical hatred of Israel. Extreme DISHONESTY: The UN determined in 2,000 that Israel had withdrawn to the international border. The resolution places Shaba Farms - legally belonging to Israel - up for negotiation. The laws of nations forbids land taken through aggression. The US EU UN unlawfully seek to reward Lebanon-Hizbullah-Syria-Iran for their war against Israel. Extreme RACISM: The damage and destruction to Israel is enormous. Israel's economy is devastated. Destruction in some Israeli towns is far worse than experienced by most people in the Lebanese cities of Beirut and Sidon. Photo Fraud in Lebanon Aish.com's new movie:http://www.aish.com/movies/JP/PhotoFraud.asp Profound Jew-hate and injustice is revealed in the resolution which asks for financial and humanitarian assistance for Lebanon the aggressor - but no assistance whatsoever for Israel the victim. Extreme DECEIT: Equivalency is made between Iran's Hizbullah terrorist army' vicious unprovoked acts of war against Israel - over 4,000 rockets fired at Israel and Israel's self-defense operations which the resolution refers to as "offensive" military operations. Hizbullah's rockets are packed with ball bearings to maximize the suffering of Israeli victims - the same murderous Islamist hate of 9/11 and 7/7 - an inhuman hate for non-Muslim infidels that engulfs our world in endless barbaric attacks in the Islamist war against innocents. Images show Hizbullah using high-density residential areas to launch rockets: http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,,19955774-5007220,00.html Extreme DECEIT: The Lebanese government and Iran's terrorist army Hizbullah are one and the same. The US, EU, UN are fully aware that Hizbullah are part of Lebanon's government and that the Lebanon government actively colluded with Hizbullah in acts of war against Israel. Lebanese army radars were used to lock in Israeli targets for Hizbullah missile crews. YNETNEWS (08.12.06, 16:52) Siniora accepts deal, praises Hizbullah ...steadfastness of resistance fighters in field was very important,' http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3290107,00.html Extreme DECEIT: In calling for disarmament of Hizbullah, the US EU UN are fully aware Iran's guerrilla army Hizbullah will NEVER disarm and cognizant they are giving massive victory to Iran in Iran's war against Israel and the free world. In the global war to bring all nations under Islamic subjugation, the US, EU, UN empowerment of global jihad is a shocking betrayal of Israel and the world's non-Muslims.
5. CYA
Bill Pearlman ,   Chicago, USA   (08.28.06)
Nobody is questioning the bravery of the men in the field. The problem with the IDF appears to be real deficiencies in everybody above the rank of major and in the support units, logistics.
6. Good luck finding heros in Olmert's Folly.
Jay ,   Los Angeles USA   (08.28.06)
If you do, I've got a casino in Mecca ...
7. #2 Meggie A, yours are THE post I wish I'd written...
Flavio ,   Sao Paulo, Brazil   (08.28.06)
...but I makes me feel very sad that all these heroes are no longer with us, that the very acts of heroism they made prevent them from being here and knowing that their bravery, their high ethical standards are so widely acknowledged!
8. Do not underestimate
Lars ,   Finland   (08.28.06)
In every war there are self-sacrificing wonders. Brothers-in-arms will respect these soldiers. They belongs to the common memory of the nation. These acts makes the backbone of the Jewish people. So, do not underestimate the bravery of the soldiers.
9. why don't you focus on the soldiers on hunger strike
jj ,   london, UK   (08.28.06)
everyone knows this war didn't portray any heroic action or whatsoever, all what we saw soldiers being pushed into fire, they shot at each others, while their Generals and political leaders were helpless or so busy buying stocks. focus about that and don't portray the defeat as a win, cause next time if the same thing happened you are gonna find it Normal or common procatice.
10. I SUPPOSE YOU WILL NOT FIND ANY SUCH STORY
patriot ,   Lebanon   (08.29.06)
i know that ynet will not publicate this but i tell you things that you must know for yourself & as a patriot journal to make some conclusions.IDF soldiers ran as rats in battles from Hizbollah guerillas, there are some tape records how israeli soldiers were crying & one time when a Hizbollah guerilla attacked by himself about 20 IDF soldiers hiding in one house & when after the mirkava tanks were being destroyed oftenly IDF soldiers started to jump out from tanks before being hit & much much such stories you can hear

esther ,   raanana   (09.02.06)
at all the lebanese, fadis, a.s.o., bothering to post messages on these sheets and to denigrate Israel and the troops. If you are so victorius, and sure of future victories, why do you waste your time visiting Israeli sites? why not celebrate on your forums, with your own supporters? Are you Hezbos probing our state of mind and morale? Because I see you people everywehre spewing your venom. All of you complaining how Lebanon is destroyed. How come you can still turn your computers on and access the Internet? Spare us your comments, go celebrate with your buddies. By the way, you were not invited to your great leader's birthday party? No suitable venue in the rubble of Hara-t Hreik? or Dahyia? Not enough room in the bunker?
