THE ENEMIES ARE AT THE GATES! FOR PETE'S SAKE! DON'T YOU REMEMBER WHAT THE PROPHETS SAID WHEN THE ASSYRIANS, BABYLONIANS, AND ROMANS WERE AT THE GATES!!!! READ YOUR TORAH!!!!!!!! PRACTICE IT AND BE BLESSED! NO WONDER IT'S GOING TO TAKE THE MESSIAH, COMING FROM HEAVEN EVEN! AGAIN! TO SAVE ISRAEL! ISRAEL/JERUSALEM IS NOT SAN FRANCISCO!!!!
2. Pull your fist out of the face of God! Remember Sodom...

6. ISRAELI POLITICS WILL YET DESTROY EVFERY JEW ON EARTH
DACON9   (08.28.06)
THE POLITICANS ARE AFRAID OF OFFENDING THE ENEMY...... ENEMIES OF TORAH AS WELL AS.... ENEMY REGIMES.... ISRAEL IS 'GDs' LAND NOT SOCIALIST SECULAR COMMUNIST ,MUTICULTURAL, HOMOSEXUAL LAND. TORAH TOLD US THIS KING DAVID TOLD THIS TO US MOSES SENT US BY 'GDs" WORDS TO THIS LAND.
7. spare us Ynet
Zionist ,   Israel   (08.28.06)
I think it's just dandy that gays want to have a parade. That's their thing. But why does Ynet put a million articles about this one parade? It's cancelled, it's on, it's cancelled, it's on again, someone has a problem with it, someone doesn't. Who cares?!?! We have slightly bigger problems than a few colorful people walking around the street for a couple hours.
8. Remember Katrina?
Jerry Ecklor ,   United States   (08.28.06)
On the weekend that Katrina came ashore the "gay parade" was to be held there in New Orleans. It would seem that the Lord had other plans wouldn't you say? BTW-Katrina means purifier. I do not believe that He is going to allow such an abomination to continue in the Holy City of Jerusalem. Something will interrupt this years programming, watch and see. G-d Bless J.
9. When Jerusalem is destroyed...
Gedaliah Gurfein ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.28.06)
If Jerusalem is destroyed for allowing this parade - don't ask this time "where was G-d", rather ask "where were we".
10. Well, they couldn't have picked a better time
Kate ,   Jerusalem   (08.28.06)
Lets face it, Israel is subdued. We're post war - tired of the fight and wanting some calmness. Not that the parade will bring that. I agree with #5 - Open House is fooling itself and the world. While almost all citizens of Jerusalem are tolerant of gay people as individuals (going about life and doing their own thing) - that doesn't extend to tolerating the flashy pride parade. Tel Aviv, on the other hand - would welcome the opportunity to host the parade. But these words seem to ever fall on the continually dead ears of the pride parade organizers.
11. couldn`t they do it in tel aviv?
israeli ,   haifa   (08.28.06)
12. Next month is Tishrei
Besalel ,   Kew Gardens, NY   (08.28.06)
Please for the sake of the absurd comedy have your gay parade on 10 Tishrei. And why not? You obviously do not recognize the concept of sanctity.
13. YOU SUPPORT?
whydoes itmatter ,   USA   (08.28.06)
God heard that.
14. Dear Homosexuals...
BJL ,   Appleland USA   (08.28.06)
Why J'lem? WHY? Is not TA good enough? You know what J'lem means to the faithful... Why must you try to be an afront to the faithful? This is truly a meanspirited and intolerant act of not-so-subtle hate. Why not appeal to your own requests to others for tolerance and say to yourselves, NO, we will not go there. We realize this would be too painful to others..If you have a shred of decency, you will not do this......
15. World Pride parade to take place next month in J'lem
Les ,   NJ USA   (08.28.06)
Pride - Indeed 'pride geoth before the fall!' Fact remains - Same sex acts are abnormal and sinful and always will be - God's law remains in-tac and forever. All the social rhetoric to change this still doesn't change the fact - homosexuality is an abnormal state. Period. OVERCOME - DON'T SUCCUMB - as we are called to do!
16. tolerance
Fiona ,   Jerusalem   (08.28.06)
The readers comments concerning the upcoming Worl Pride Parade in Jerusalem are both apauling and sad. The Jews of this beautiful city have fought for their rights to practice their chosen faith for centuries. The Jews of the World fight now for tolerance, acceptance, they fight the ugliness of anti Semitism daily around the globe. The anger, intolerance and unacceptance of our gay brothers and sisters shocks my Jewish core. The antagonism only highlights the intolerance of Jews towards fellow Jews. You should be ashamed of your ignorance. I'm ashamed for you. As a resident of Jerusalem, I am in awe of the Gay community here for standing with heads high in the midst of opinions more apropriate to the Middle ages. I for one will be standing at this parade, in open support for all freedom-loving citizens in our Capital City, whatever their peaceful beliefs may be. Perhaps those who contributed until now to this talkback will take a moment to think who their real enemies are. There's surely enough to choose from.
17. #4 - why hold it in a city where it is not wanted ?
Michael Redbourn ,   tel aviv & london   (08.28.06)
18. If You're Looking For This Abomination in the Holiest City,
H ,   Jerusalem   (08.28.06)
why not wait a few more days for the Holiest day of the year? Yom Kippur!
19. No, It Will Not Take Place! The Haredim, Arabs & Others
H ,   Jerusalem   (08.28.06)
will not allow it.
20. INVITE ALL GAY ARABS TOO !!
andrew ,   miami,fl   (08.28.06)
21. Screw it
David ,   Toronto, Canada   (08.28.06)
Jerusalem doesn't deserve to have a parade. Cancel the parade and piss on this city full of degenerate religious hatemongers.
22. Gay pollution...........
Miriam ,   Netivot   (08.28.06)
This pollution MUST be kept out of our holy city. What right do they have to spit in the eye of every citizen. Gays and queers MUST BE BANNED AND THEIR PERMIT REVOKED. If not a counter parade should be formed to throw rotten eggs at rotten people. Our children must not be exposed to this garbage.
23. number 9
Miriam ,   Netivot   (08.28.06)
You are so correct.
24. HATE PARADE #16
White   (08.28.06)
This parade is nothing else but a flaring of INTOLERANCE DISRESPECT UNACCEPTANCE for the Jewish people, Jewish religion (and all others by the way), Jerusalemites and itheir democratic right to ban an abomination from its borders. So the real haters Fiona are you and cohorts. HAVE SOME TOLERANCE ACCEPTANCE and RESPECT for the majority of people here who detest this parade If Tolerance Acceptance and whatever is what you seek from others, Did you ever stop to think why in Jerusalem you would like to have it, what makes jerusalem so special for you that you would go great lengths of trasporting all you guys here intead of in "natural" TA ?? Answer this question sweety
25. Fiona , Jerusalem (08.28.06)
Les ,   NJ USA   (08.28.06)
The real enemy is your intolerance of those who state the obvious - this parade is celebrating abnormal sexual acts condemned by God. Love the homosexual enough to tell them the truth, then help them to overcome and not succumb to them.
26. Anti-gay hatred rooted in ignorance. Tolerance is G-d's will
Terah ,   montreal canada   (08.28.06)
27. daniel spoke of this.
stephen ,   usa   (08.28.06)
Wake up you true jews, read daniels words, this is the Abomination of desolation. Remember where the angels that told Abraham that isaac was to be born were going. on the very same day!
28. #29 G-d Will is Keeping the Torah. The Torah FORBIDS Gays!
H ,   Jerusalem   (08.28.06)
No tolerance for those who are anti-G-d's will.
29. World what?! Shame?
Josh ,   Tel Aviv   (08.29.06)
The rainbow was God's promise not to destroy the world with floods again. Sodom was not an entire community or genetic gays, as some would have you believe the choice to be gay is, rather it was the acceptance of the idea that men could have sex with whoever they want. Once again the advertising of that idea is being pushed. Next will it be animals? Let the rainbow not be waved spitefully in Gods face, stop advertising perversion.
30. Kudos #8
Josh ,   Tel Aviv   (08.29.06)
You have an eye for reading God's signs and wonders, but isn't that also the home of the biggest christian festival. One love, one god. By the way in true rebelious style, they went on to have the parade while people were stranded and dying.
