It is a lie that they ,arabs ,will ever have "normal"relations with Israel. In my view,Israel should listen less these tricky people and strenghten it self more and more,either economicaly,socially,MILITARLY. And it should start acting ,decisively, towards its own interests. Daniel, you say that Lebanon was once one of the most westernized Arab states. It still is and the country was expecting a bumper year for tourism. Where else in the Middle East do you have Christians and Muslims able to enjoy the Mediterranean's beaches and some of the best nightclubs and nightlife in the world. Unfortunately, Israel had to go and destroy all that progress since the end of Lebanon's "civil" war. Me, I was there for a holiday last year and had a great time. I hope to go back and support them next year. They are a great people stuck between a rock and a hard place. They deserve any and all support they get.
