Andy ,   London   (09.01.06)
Lebanon has committed to UN resolution while Israel hasn't. Surely you can't dispute facts can you? Israeli damage should be paid for by your ill-planning government who started this war to get your prisoners back and failed. As for your awear words, I am not even going to go down to your level. Stay in florida

Brad ,   Toronto   (09.01.06)
I think the correct response would be, that most of the Londoneers who reply on this site have their heads up their ass so far, they don't know what the heck is going on. Of all cities, its the people from London that have the most hatred and are also the most ignorant. The next time you post something on this site "Alex", get your facts straight man! Wake up!!
33. The UN, Kofi, and the feces of the world
Yirmeyahu ,   Hobe Sound, FL   (09.01.06)
UN gangster Kofi Annan is an evil bigot whose hatred for Israel has become proverbial. He is a mass murderer who criminally stole an enormous amount of money that should have been given to many tens of thousands of those in Africa who because of his theft died of starvation while he was having caviar at his cotails in New York. Talk about a traitor to his own race! Talk about a criminal against humanity! How, then, would he not annihilate every Jew in Israel, and the world, with the help of his protected Muslim terrorists? I don’t know, maybe he thinks he is Arian. Who knows the mind of a criminal clown? Kofi is just a pathetic but arrogant marionette in the hands of those highly evil world elite internationalist, who despise any nationality that adheres to its roots and defends its uniqueness. Israel is the best example of this as a nation and the Jews in general as an ethnia who refuses to be absorbed. Kofi is not a mediator of anything. He is a terrorists collaborator, who would gladly see every Jew dying at the hands of his buddies in crimes against humanity. And since whoever helps and protects terrorists is a terrorist himself, he is a terrorist. Be assured that the United Nation is the overflowing toilet of world politicians; and this miserable Kofi is just one t*rd floating over it. What is amazing to me is that many seem to delight over his smell! What can the world expect from this floating feces? What can Israel?
34. Syria has fooled Kofi...?
Lance ,   NY, USA   (09.01.06)
Unfortunately too many in our temporary world will believe the lies coming from Syria, the UN, and others similar because they long for a Utopian peace that will never happen. Yes #19, Truth USA, thanks be to the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob for his Blessing Israel, who WILL in fact prevail in the END.
35. why not Iran for that matter
Yatoula Khou miminni ,   France   (09.01.06)
How stupid could Annan be unless he is making all these silly statement to provoke Israel. For that Matter why doesn't he suggest to put 100000 Iranian Soldiers to participate into the UN Peace keeping force and perhaps give them the responsibilty to lead these forces. HAHAHAHA
36. #32 - Brad of Toronto
Andy ,   London   (09.01.06)
You should be kicked off this site not only for your rude postings, but also for your ignorant and stupid attitude. You obviously have no place for an argument in the thick head of yours so your attempt to get back at me by being rude just shows up your true loser personality. Just because you disagree with my views you accuse me of hatred, and group all the people from London with me as well. How educated of you. I don't know who alex is, but my guess is that he had an opinion that differred from your own. I think the time has come for you to resume your psycho anger management classes.
38. Andy, London..where do you get your facts?
DR ,   Florida, USA   (09.01.06)
You are definitely one of the least inteligent people on this website, and I have seen some asses here. You said that Lebanon has committed to UN resolution while Israel hasn't....what? Hezballah has been nesting in S. Lebanon for years, building their arsenal and getting weapons from Iran and Syria. These are the facts that you conveniently deny and fail to mention. But, yet, you expect Israel to do nothing when terrorists cross the border kill and kidnap troops...are you really that dumb??? Israel did not instigate this war and the fact that you think Hezballah actually won the war is another tell of how stupid you really are. What is your definition of vicotory? Thousands dead, no infrastructurre left, weakened govet? Is that what you call vicotry? I don't know how people get so backwards like you, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the way you were raised and the people who influenced you growing up...probably Imams in the mosque huh?
39. Let's swap Annan for hostages. He's more dangerous.
Israel/US   (09.01.06)
40. Of course Syria doesn't mind an arms embargo on Hizbollah
(09.01.06)
They don't need them - they are building their very own guerilla terrorist force. International gullibility is horrifically astonishing, every time.
41. #32 Brad of Toronto
Rustum ,   London, UK   (09.01.06)
Crass generalisations about Londonders and vulgar ignorance displayed by you. Amazing how you right-wing freakos simply respond with a barrage of vilification to anyone who says anything you don't like.
42. Syria also is planning
Claude Edelson ,   Chicago   (09.01.06)
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3298475,00.html to take Golan by fighting
43. #41 Pot calling kettle black
Claude Edelson ,   Chicago   (09.01.06)
Please clarify how your last sentence is not a crass generalization of people on the right and how it does not show your vulgar ignorance? Amazing how you right-wing freakos simply respond with a barrage of vilification to anyone who says anything you don't like.
44. now they are good boys!
noemi ,   madrid   (09.01.06)
so now, the world will believe Iran is going to use the nuke power only for civil uses, because they say so.
45. To Brad
Anna ,   Latvia   (09.01.06)
Andy is not from London, he is from Londonistan.
46. A bit of confidence, please.
Bancor ,   Genoa, Italy   (09.01.06)
If I were in you, I would try to concede a bit of confidence (keeping obviously on the alert...), otherwise it will never be possible to start any process of peace. When your Government (PM Begin, you will agree that he wasn't a fool or a coward) started talks with Egypt for peace, he trusted in Sadat's goodwill, and you had peace; the same with king Hussein of Jordan. Why not for Bashir Assad, even if he is certainly an enemy of yours, but may need - like you - to set a peace agreement (he may want back Golan Heights, but didn't you give back Sinai to Sadat?). Maybe this is a wishful thinking, but try, try, try... as to make the peace is only possible with an enemy.
47. the us is not an accomplice?
roddy zulueta ,   los angeles, ca   (09.01.06)
what about the dictators you supported with guns & money? they killed, tortured 100s of thousands of innocent civilian to stay in power!! that makes you an accomplice too!!
48. ONLY ISRAEL IS VIOLATING UN RESOLUTIONS AS USUAL
Lebanese ,   Lebanon   (09.01.06)
Hizbollah is not violating the 1701,Syria is going to back it .only israel is violating the UN resolutions which one more time proves the rightness of Hizbollah theory that Lebanese can't believe such an agressive criminal goverment of israel, about the israel violating all west & UN representatives already saw even Anan
49. A N D Y
David ,   Israel   (09.01.06)
Andy, or Andrew or Anwar, now I know why you think as you think. Your prolific blogging lately has not made even a dent, let alone convince me. As opposed to the other blogger, I do not condemn the entire population of London or any other city in Europe, but recognize that he managed to p--- you off for that matter and, consequently, made you use language on the border of rudeness. What do you think ? Speaking of Kofi Annan, I do not believe this person at all. Period. His Syrian mumble jumble declarations cannot even soothe a sweet baby. How can a codescending criminal convince us Jews and Israelis if he allows his Sudanese muslim buddies kill his Christian Darfur brothers in the tens of thousands ? Now, that he is on his way to his other friend in Iran, what's his name, the guy who wants to wipe off Israel the map ? Oh yes, Ahmadinejad, or Hitlerdinejad, no,no, Adolfdinejad sounds better. I mean, Annan will come up with something even funnier this time, something in the realm of deluded clowns whose tricks are working no more. No fun, no laughing ! On the other hand, even if you may be a nice person, you are totally biased by your years in a terrorist ridden Lebanon. What you were fed and told by these terrorists (i.e. PLO, Hezbolla, etc.) is what you believed and, unfortunatelly, you still believe. You write about the IAF's flights over Lebanon, but you never ask yourself why. Had it not been for these flights, PLO and Hezbolla had long ago destroyed all of Lebanon and had caused even more damage to Israel. Are you so blind not to see that Israel (and not so much Europe)has constantly tried to help Lebanon survive. But Lebanon has failed miserably so far, be it for its weaknesses or, be it for its profound admiration of terror organizations. So, my Lebanese friend, look deep into your soul and mind and come up with something better next time. Meantime, good luck !

David ,   Israel   (09.01.06)
The answer to your question is simple Rustum, you are wilfully STUPID.
51. Syrian Prisoners?

52. I'm putting sanctions on #48...
DR ,   Florida, USA   (09.01.06)
for being such an idiot!!! Who actually thinks that Hezballah is right in anything??? Brainwashed, ignorant, fanatic, half-wits!!!
53. Bye Bye Kofi - IDIOT
TD ,   London, UK   (09.01.06)
Annan should be ignored - he is an utopian useful idiot who provides way too much legitimacy, let alone attention, to dictatorships and terrorist groups. Olmert was right to receive him, reject his demands, and then send him on his way. Luckily the key powers know that Assad has no intention of keeping his promises. When the next war breaks out, the major action will be in and around Damascus.
54. Annan\Assad the movie
Natan ,   USA   (09.01.06)
Annan and Assad, what a pair. They actually remind me a movie i saw awhile ago: :Dumb and Dumber"
55. Frontal Lobotomy for Kofi

As Kofi's magical mystery tour heads towards Irant and the moolahs, may I suggest a frontal lobotomy is in order?

57. To #48: "Never miss a good chance to shutup"
Mustapha ,   Tripoli, Lebanon   (09.01.06)
For godsakes dude, quit humiliating yourself. First off, Hizbullah could care less about Lebanon. The militia is an agent of Syria and Iran. They instigated this crisis by crossing the border, killing 3 IDF soldiers and kidnapping 2. Hizbullah did that after receiving the green light from Tehran in order to divert attention from its nuclear file with the UN. Tehran gained precious time (at least 2 months so far) from the diversion to enrich more uranium at an accelerated pace. Hizbullah money, training and weapons all come from Tehran, with Syria acting as the facilitator. So, when you attempt to insinuate that Hizbullah cares about Lebanon, you couldn't be any farther from the truth.
58. to Andy of London #21
Eitan ,   Flushing, U.S.   (09.01.06)
1. As for your claim that Israel hasn't accepted a ceasefire. I'm not sure what it is you're talking about... as far as I can tell the fighting has ceased. As far as the blockade on Lebanon, it's purpose is to prevent the rearmament of Hezbollah, so it is rightfully in place until the full U.N. force is in place. 2. As for your claim that Israel lost the war. I'm not sure where you're getting your information from, but I'm certain that by any definition of the word "lost" Israel did not lose this war. Hezbollah's long range rockets and launchers have been destroyed. Hundreds of Hezbollah fighters have been killed or captured. The involvement of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards has been exposed, and the Lebanese Army will be patrolling the Southern REgion for the first time in 25 years. I can hardly call that a loss. 3. As for your contention that Lebanon is the victor and thus should dictate the terms of peace. What are you smoking? Last I remember, Lebanon was taking great pains to seperate themselves from this war and was disavowing Hezbollah's actions. So how can you now possibly argue that Lebabnon is the victor? Unless you're French, it's impossible to claim victory in a war that you didn't fight. 4. As for your claim that the Sheba Farms region is part of Lebanon. Your exalted U.N. has stated otherwise. This region is part of Syrian territory that was captured during the 1967 war (along with the "West Bank" from Jordan and Gaza from Egypt). But like those territories, the actual sovereign country that lost the territory decided to "cede its interest" to a terrorist group (PLO and Hezbollah) for obvious political reasons. So, now that I've addressed all your arguments, I suggest you re-examine your "facts" and get back to me.
59. Two morons making an agreement.

If a bully hides behind the someones skirt does that give one one the right to smash to the ground the owner of the skirt? The Palestinian who hid in the UK compound, had he been secreted by the Embassy staff does that mean the jews have permission to flatten the Embassy. The jews have lost it!
