1. MR.BOLTON...........HOW COME YOU PREDICT OUTCOME
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.02.06)
Mr. Bolton, I think you are basically admitting your defeat even before the war has begun. If you doubt about the resolution being passed in the Security Council to impose sanctions on Iran,we as readers of your statements, had already predicted the Russian and Chinese stand on the matter. However, take the matter in stride and wait for the Security Council to atleast convene.Best of luck.
2. The West is weak
Aharon   (09.02.06)
The West is weak and divided, and it will be the end of them unless something is done about it soon. Europe, as usual, appeasing the big bad wolf.
3. when the UN fails the test, we can stop taking it seriously
aaron ,   ra'anana   (09.02.06)
seriously, what is the UN except an expanded Arab League or OIC? We take them SOOOOO seriously. its a collection of dictatorships condemning israel for being not-arab on a weekly basis. its an organization that was relevant in the 50s and not since...

6. ISRAEL THE COLLECTOR OF WMDs
HANI   (09.02.06)
Reminding everyone here: 1-Israel refuses to sign the WMD non-proliferation treaty and is stockpiling 200 nuclear warheads. 2-Israel continues to bully its neighbors and is imploding Palestinians since 1948 3-Israel used banned weapons in Lebanon (uranium bombs) 4-Israel has caused the greatest environmental catastrophe ever on the Eastern shores of the Mediterranean. 5-Israel defied hundreds of UN resolutions and continues to suffocate Gaza and the West Bank 6-Israel ignored The Hague order to stop the apartheid, unilateralist, land-grabbing wall Conclusion: The free world must impose sanctions on Israel and not Iran
7. but, #2, since a while big bad wolf appears to be Israel
SANTA MONICA   (09.02.06)
and even in the USA they begin to agree with that idea that Israel is bringing all the West to a disaster, because they have no moral rules : only threatens. What Iran said exactly, he said that Israel government is bringing the zionist "jewish estate" toward its own anhilation, if it doesn't change. WE DO AGREE : YOU HAVE TO CHANGE AND BE MORE CAREFUL WITH INTERNATIONAL LAWS.
8. Bolton like other jews
(09.02.06)
is a slave of his masters in the USA. Stop speaking of morals and values if you are satisfied with your present stance in the US.
9. Corner stone of Iranian state policy
gerd schulz ,   germany   (09.02.06)
Ahmadinejad 'Mahdaviat' demands 'global chaos creation'. It is corner stone of Iranian state policy! It is argued that the "Presidential obsession" with ‘mahdaviat’ leads Mr. Ahmadinejad to a conviction that leaves little room for compromise. He thinks that the Mahdi will come in the near future as his knight in shining armour.  The only missing link, in the President’s opinion, delaying the Mahdi’s arrival is that the world is still far too peaceful; the degrees of clash and disasters setting the chain of celestial events of ‘mahdaviat’ have to gather speed. The recent mess in Lebanon by his proxies was a component of that uncompromising ideological fixation. The altercation with America and Israel and the wish to empower Iran with nuclear programs are all designed to lay the foundation for the Mahdi's return.  Creation of universal strife and commotion is very much a part of mahdaviat. Peace and cohabitation in the world means mahdaviat becomes superfluous. The Iranian President is duty bound to help create an environ that would be conducive to Mahdi’s return.  Unfortunately, ‘universal peace’ does not help the prophecies that are integral part of his understanding of the scriptures. The President does put his money where his mind in:  In 2004, as mayor of Tehran, Mr. Ahmadinejad clandestinely instructed the city council to construct a magnificent boulevard to orchestrate and prepare for the Mahdi’s arrival.  As President, he has allocated $17 million for a blue-tiled mosque closely associated with mahdaviat in Jamkaran, south of the capital. Present insanity, psychosis, wars and craftiness in politics of the Middle East has religious historical conjecture; the higher the chaos and bigger the noise, the greater the chances of divine intervention. Very few in the West can understand the undercurrents of self-obliteration so evident in Nasarullah's cult and multitude of suicide bombers. The question is to analyze events in context of the prophecies of 'doom and gloom' for the infidels, as firmly believed by the leadership in Iran. Professor Lewis, in my opinion, overstated the importance of 22nd August. The night of 'Mairaj’ is an annual celebration which had no greater significance this year.  The President, I doubt, was expecting the emergence of 'Mahdi' on 22nd August. In the opinion of the present 'Hujjati leadership, 'the higher the level of 'expectation,' the greater the degree of their devoutness. To hasten the coming of the Imam, they consider their right to further the mayhem and bedlam, after all, the global level of chaos has to increase in frequency and intensity so that the Imam finally decides to appear. The bloodier the earth becomes, the higher the chances of emergence of the Imam are from greater Occultation; the lesser the civility the better the chances, so the ‘leadership’ is sincerely bound by their ideological belief to create problems. In effect, the ‘increased expectations of the coming of the Imam’ have justified their inclination towards intensified wicked doings. Ideology has helped the ‘global chaos creation’ as the cornerstone of state policy. Two questions are important to understand: Q1. Has Nasrallah's apology to the Lebanese seemingly created a scenario where Ahmadinejad and the "Supreme Guide" has suffered a tremendous loss of face? (...) Q2. Was Ahmadinejad actually under the impression that the Mahdi was going to reappear this year on 22nd August and when that date came and went, he was forced to back down in humiliation? (...) The hurdles for any claimant are too high to surmount. It is a great feeling to have a Mahdi, but no good enough a mortal will satisfy the expectations. President Ahmadinejad for sure will cast the first stone to bury the man. Drew ,   USA   (09.02.06)
Kick the UN out of my country. Let them spew their BS to and sponge off someone else. Remove all US troops from the ME and then turn all radical islamic countries to glass. Then maybe we will have another 500 years before the islamofacists try to take over the world.
13. israel
ahmed ,   oc, california   (09.02.06)
isn't it interesting that while israel is surrounded by countries and groups completeley and utterly dedicated to israel's destruction, most people still view israel as the agressor. that shows what the world really thinks of israel and the jews so why be hypocrites. let israel's destruction just be complete and enjoy a future with islam.
