91. to Walldizo #90

I am aware of the fact that Nasrallah (the Sayyeed) transfered from Amal to Hezbollah in 1982, and replaced Mussawi in 1992 as sec-gen (after the latter had an unfortunate third degree encounter with the IDF, you know, Tzahal). However, as he was born in 1960 he would have been ten in 1970. And it would not have been so strange for little Hassan to be recruited at a tender age. Check out this article: http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3298695,00.html Hope you are not a shiya, Walldizo, no need to entertain suicidal martyrdom dreams. Not much left of a man to enjoy half a virgin. Take care of yourself. Peace will come one day, hopefully in our lifetime.
92. You are a victim of your governments' indoctrination, Tayfun
Noam ,   Boca Raton, FL   (11.20.06)
Tayfun, I read two books by scholars of the Armenian genocide, one by a Turk (Taner Akcham, who can't ever dare of going back to Turkey). Buddy, your arrogance is way to great. It was documented by all foreign attaches in Istanbul that the Young Turk government ordered all Armenians living in Ottoman Empire arrested and rounded up . Then they were subsequently led into the deserts of Mesopotamia, subject to rape by released criminals, or torture, random murder, and thievery. The Ottoman Turks enlisted the Kurds to help them in their genocide, only to backstab them later. You just believe the lies you have been fed by your authoritarian government. Where did 800,000-1.5 mil Armenians go? Did they just disappear? In regards to the Kurd issue, yes the PKK is terrorist but maybe you should ask yourself why they resorted to terrorism? How about the Turks' govt denying them the right to speak their language, have any sort of autonomy, teach and practice their distinct traditions, etc.? Instead, they just called them "Mountain Turks" and tried to forcibly Turkify them, Turkish national identity is based on many lies about Turkishness and invented nationalism. How else can you explain a country that is 99.8% Muslim (even if only nominally religious) when it had over 3 million Christians prior to WWI? So Tayfun, before indicting Israel in the docket, drop your blameless attitude and take some responsibility and self-critical look at your nations' past.
