Katsav: I won't swear in Supreme Court president    Aviram Zino
1. Long term "payment" for sexual services :-)
As I said, this may be a "request" for a long term "payment" for sexual services . :-) :-) :-) quote: "Regarding the woman who worked with him at the Transport Ministry and claimed that he forced her to have sexual intercourse with him, Katsav presented a letter from the year 2000 in which the complainant asked for a job at the President's Resident. " Let me say this again: there is no "smoke" without a "fire". :-)

4. No sustained proof of guilt
B"H The "smoke" always comes from the Left wing as a form of political leverage against its political apponents. That several women are coming forth is not surprising. Whenever accusations are made, several join the choir no matter what the accusations are. Have you ever seen kids crowd around a rumble? Not much different than that. Some even join in the chorus. It is also not surprising in light of the position of authority and power that the President of Israel holds, which is being severely undermined by these accusations that have not been founded to date. In the United States, there is a trial by the Senate after the House impeaches the President (like with the previous President Clinton). The accusation is made by the House and confirmed or rejected (rejected -- like with previous President Clinton) by the Senate. Perhaps some party should issue the non-confidence vote of the government in its handling of Katsav's case. I am surprised that evidence has not been laid out in front of the entire Kenesset by now if there is any substance to this matter for a vote so that the institutions can put this matter to rest and move forward in the appropriate manner. Asking Katsav to resign when there are no substantial charges is rediculous and opens the avenue to all sorts of political attacks like the sort the resulted in Gaza being uprooted for no security advantage to Israel. The point is that this is at least the second time that this sort of leverage has been applied at high levels, and Israel is paying a high price for it.
