1. Frog Soup Iranian Style
malcolm   (09.14.06)
Like the frog that doesn't jump out of the pot as it slowly boils to death, Europe is being slowly cooked by Ahmadinejad as he smiles and looks them lovingly in the eye inching closer and closer to consuming them. He doesn't just want to be a world player, he wants to be the "natural international leader". Iranian style, he realizes that after scaring everyone, all he has to do is smile and say "Hey , I am a man of peace" and Europe will sigh with relief and eat from his hand. Look how Solana is constantly chasing after cancelled apointments and flying all over Europe to have breaf "promising" meetings with Iranian "negotiators". Look how Khatami is making propoganda speeches and meeting with the far left and Muslims all over the US including Harvard. And now Ahmadinejad's whirlwind tour of the world. What next... NYC and the UN to explain to the world who their new leader is? Sounds far fetched but that's exactly what he'd like to do.
2. The US should moderate its language/
Eric ,   London, UK   (09.14.06)
I cannot believe that he said this! A guy that calls for the destruction of an other country off the face of the earth and denys that millions of Jews were killed in WWII, says that another country should moderate its language... Good luck Middle East with this schmuck running things!
3. Corner stone of Iranian state policy: 'Mahdaviat'
gerd schulz ,   germany   (09.14.06)
4. "We love Hezbollah"
gerd schulz ,   germany   (09.14.06)
Khatami: "We love Hezbollah"   Less than a month before leaving office, in July of 2005, he stated on Al-Arabiya TV (Dubai), "It is not in Lebanon's best interest to stop the resistance. We always support this idea. We believe that Hezbollah has an authentic Lebanese identity. We love Hezbollah. Hezbullah will remain and will keep its weapons." And as reported in the New York Times, during the recent fighting that took place in Lebanon, Khatami likened Hezbollah to "a shining sun that illuminates and warms the hearts of all Muslims and supporters of freedom in the world."
5. Idiot in Iran
bored   (09.14.06)
I'm so tired of hearing about him. The west is doing NOTHING. He will soon have WMDs and will probably blow us all up, but nothing is new. Nothing is being done to prevent it, so why do we have to hear every rant that exits his mouth?
6. AHAMADINAJAD
hebrew ,   tyre   (09.14.06)
when he talks peope shuld listen he said israel shoud be removed from the map he meant the entity and the people should go back to europe and russia the sepharedic can stay if they could speak arabic the language of the land then there wil be no need to use nuclear weapons trust me
7. Iran
Joe Simon ,   Kfar Aviv, Israel   (09.14.06)
Sure. And if you believe that, he'll sell you another bridge.
8. Ahmadinejad
Dr. JOHN MAXWELL ,   Rechovot Israel   (09.14.06)
"America should change it's language", I think not! Maybe he should change the "Verbal diarrhoea" that comes out every time he opens his mouth! As for leading the world, the only place he will lead it, is right to Hell!!!
9. Ahmadinejad: We can better lead the world
silvio ,   italy   (09.14.06)
We hope that at the end, the instinct of the self-preservation and the reality will have prevailed on the all other lethal reasons.
10. Bush the coward could give Iran 24 hrs to declare all areas
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica,CA USA   (09.14.06)
of iran open to UN inspection teams including underground bunkers or the the bunker busters would start dropping because he threatened America and it has a right to act in its self interest. No troops, just bombs and the ruskies and the chinese would protest like hell and do nothing. This would happen but Bush is a coward.
11. The 4th reich
Eli ,   Budapest   (09.14.06)
It is defenately worth listening to the enemy. 2/3 of world population lives in poverty. The reason Iran is where is at is because of greed and exploitation. Iran is the rising 4th empire. They want to be. And there is a void.... unfortunately
12. APE SHALL NOT KILL APE
Charlton Heston ,   Hollywood, CA   (09.14.06)
13. Petition: Tell the UN to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran
gerd schulz ,   germany   (09.14.06)
Tell the UN to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran  Iran should not be permitted to develop a nuclear bomb. Visit http://www.theisraelproject.org/unpetition to add your name to The Israel Project petition.
14. This tiresome cat and mouse game..
Tim - Brighton ,   UK   (09.14.06)
Quite a pathetic little moronic specimen who thinks his tirades and verbal diarrhea impresses the world and who thinks that his game of 'hide and seek my nuclear weapons' is clever. Does he honestly think that all the countries of the world are going to let one little unhinged finger wagging fanatic to determine the social, economic, health and well being of the entire world? China, Russia, Japan, India, Brazil - all countries whose precious socio economic advances will be protected at all costs. Where a stable global political climate is vital to sustain their trade and standards of living. Apart from all the developing nations of the world. They will not allow the loose cannon that is Ahmadijenad & Co to take that all way. Watch this space...
15. The quickest way for Israel to quiet Iran
Blues ,   Portland, USA   (09.14.06)
is to invent an alternative fuel for the US and the rest of the world. Israel gets wealthy on royalties, Iran and all the other arab states will quickly return to the stone-age where they belong. We Americans are too short-sighted to do it ourselves, but we like to spend our money on a good idea.
16. FUTURE OF IRAN
TOM HILL ,   PITTSBURG, USA   (09.14.06)
I AM SURE THE IRANIANS ENJOY THE ELECTRICITY AND WATER AND TELEPHONES IN THEIR HOUSES. THEY WILL NOT HAVE THEM MUCH LONGER . ALSO NO ROADS AND NO BRIDGES.
17. #14 Tim ah but if that were so!
apathy kills ,   out there   (09.14.06)
Remember hitler, nothing was done to stop him...remember Rwanda, Darfur, and other genocides - where was the UN then or the United States for that matter...(btw I love the U.S. with all its faults) The world has this tendency to be complacent, which is quite ironic considering the track record we have - wars, genocides, atrocities to name a few...and yet when some ugly bastard raises his head and threatens not only Israel but the world...everyone tries to convince themselves that he is just mouthing off..and they interview him on 60 minutes and give him a platform to show his arrogance if not ignorance. If people would finally get it thru their head, that they cannot blame Israel for their own misfortunes, or mistakes, each nation has to take care of his own and then and only then maybe we can collectively take care of one another. This attitude towards Islamism as if when we say it out loud we become racists, our world is being threatened verbally, physically on a day to day basis and we are all hiding coz we want to be politically correct..a load of good that will do us whilst we are running not from rockets but rather atomic bombs.
18. Ahmadinejad
silvio ,   italy   (09.14.06)
I want to reassure all Israelian brothers. I am sure of one thing: Israel wil never be touched nor destroyed. All the West Civil Countries will not permit that this could happen.
19. #10 war mongering
Rustum ,   London, UK   (09.14.06)
As usual, the Moslem-bating bigot of Santa Monica offers her usual solution for any problem "bomb the Moslems". It is incredible that this foul piece of American baggage believes that her solutions for all of the world's problems lie in bombs and more bombs. Readers might like to be reminded that in previous posts, Ms Meyer has offered to buy the severed heads of Palestinians killed by the IDF to "place on poles" on her front lawn, as well as offering to buy other bits of dead Palestinians as a laugh.
20. taqyya
Hal Mettes ,   Austin, Texas USA   (09.14.06)
taqyya=dissimulation I.e. a Muslim does not owe the Truth to an Infidel---Now get busy and Negotiate! Make yourself feel good! Like you are doing something. He has said it. He would be the best leader of the World. World wide sharia. Do nothing & it will come.
21. THE 70'S CALLED -THEY WANT THEIR CLOTHES BACK - IRAN FASHION
Andrew Leidner ,   Miami, FL USA   (09.14.06)
22. Ahmadinejad at the U.N.
Joao ,   Dom Eliseu, Brazil   (09.14.06)
Check out a book called "The Ezekiel Option" by Joel Rosenberg. His previous works very closely resembled what later happened with Iraq. In "The Ezekiel Option", a madman of the Russian-Iranian alliance gets a visa to speak at the U.N., then announces that Iran will give up all nuclear materials and ambitions (sure!) and demands that the world stand up and dearm Israel! The resolution is passed, with the U.S. unable/unwilling to veto it because of political hand-wringing and its reduced status in the world. I pray that this will never happen, but it very well could. Keep your eyes on the General Assembly if Ahamadinejad shows up.
23. Bush not a coward.
Le Roy ,   TX   (09.14.06)
Young lady, I can tell your hatred for our President in your voice. Yes, the Iranians need to be stopped. The Europeans are the cowards though. They will not back us for fear of their own muslim populations revolting against them. We will see action after November, mark my words!
24. History repeats
Dan ,   Houston, USA   (09.14.06)
Read and understand the era preceeding World War II, and the ensuing Nazi occupation of Europe. Then, update the names and dates to the present, and you will have a crystal ball into the future.
25. I like President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
Mark J Maloney ,   New Orleans, La   (09.14.06)
I wish him all the good fortunes of my God and his Allah. I hope one day I get to speak with him in person. Mark
26. Sounds like the Antichrist
P. Auman ,   Harrisburg, PA USA   (09.14.06)
I know, this Ahmadinejad is a slick one. Watch him and his actions closely... one side of his mouth says "Obliterate Israel" while the other says "World Peace, under the direction of Iran." Doesn't the Christian Bible mention something like this will happen? And good timing, with the last Pope now serving his time... I know only one thing... the day Iran get the nukes, the world as we know it is done and we're ALL finished. When are our leaders going to say we've had enough of this? DO SOMETHING!!
27. HE WILL NUKE ISRAEL REGARDLESS
Bob Ehrlich ,   Baltimore, USA   (09.14.06)
And he will blame the USA for not negotiating. And Muslims will claim another victory !
28. HAD ENOUGH
RON ,   BEAUMONT, TX   (09.14.06)
GET RID OF IGNORANCE AND ADD A LITTLE TOLERANCE. PROMBLEM SOLVED :)
29. Bush the Coward?
Kev ,   Jersey, USA   (09.14.06)
Bunnie Meyer from California, there's a big surprise that you would call Bush a coward, get educated. What kind of coward destroys two countries? Once again, everyone wants the US to do everything, but as soon as we step in, you'll then say that Bush had no right to use such excessive force. People like you make me sick to my stomach.
30. Threats from Iran...
Stevo ,   Brooklyn, NY   (09.14.06)
I know a few scientists over at Martin Marietta and JPL who beg to differ with Ahmadinejad's plans to take over the world. 'I'll put my faith in them.
