Ahmadinejad must sincerely apologize for and retract his statement re: his belief that a certain nation in his region should be wiped off the map... In the meantime, he (and by extension his country) should be considered the primary threat. It is unacceptable for any nation to support terrorists. It is unacceptable for any nation to state that another nation should be wiped off the map. And it is unacceptable for a nation that supports terrorists, wants to wipe another nation off the face of the earth, to develop nuclear weapons!

I totally support preventing Iran, or any other country other than the ones already nuclear from getting them. Our problem is that the reason that Iran and North Korea are in a frenzy in trying to get them, is because they realize that they have zero chance of defeating the US militarily, and the only real deterrence they have is to go nuclear. We need to make it explicit to any nation state if they provide nukes to a terrorist group and we connect the dots, every city in your country is gone. I seriously doubt any nation state would ever supply nukes to a group knowing this and people like Ahmadinejad may make nonsensical statements but I think they are playing to the local / regional audience and politics, and they are not stupid.
