I agree with the premise of the article; namely the less said about Ahmadinejad the better. However the author makes a deductive error in thinking that the Ayatollah's really mean it when they say "nuclear weapons are against Islam". What they really mean is that these are against Islam, but only while Israel has them and not Iran. The Pakistani clerics no longer speak against nuclear wepons, because they now have the bomb.

The only option is militarily taking out Iran's nascent nuclear capability. Israel can do it. Mr. Bush is too weak to act. I agree in principle but we do not live in Israel. The nuclear issue is soley for Israeli's to assess. It is unlikely that a nuclear armed Iran would directly (key word) attack Israel. Even given their geograpical size advantage, the reprisals would weaken them to a point where they will be over run by Arabs, Kurds, Etc. So do not be so brave from a distance of 6000 miles from ground zero.

Actually, there is a large segment of the Iranian population that despises the mullahs and would love to have democracy in Iran. They also tend to have positive feelings about the U.S. (and even to Israel in some cases) based on the assumption that if these countries are so detested by the mullahs, there must be something good about them. However, the task for the U.S. is to try to empower these Iranians, but it's a difficult goal to achieve because they're living with the heel of the Islamic fascists' boots on their necks.
